A beautiful yard but we would not rent this home again because of the sinks.

The house was clean, beautiful, but had an odd odor, which dissipated when doors were opened, likely cleaning chemicals used on cement floors, may also be tied to chemicals or paint used to color floors

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I rented this home for a week. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. I can't tell you how surprised and pleased we were upon entering the home. There was a bottle of wine and anniversary greetings waiting for us on the counter!! The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen! Oh, and the back yard? Looked and felt like a high end resort! Our 21 year old grand daughter joined us from Ohio for three days and stated that she felt like a Kardashian with that atmosphere.

Nice spot - needs maintenance

Good, quite location with easy walking to Koffi and trails. Bathroom sinks are terrible, smaller bathroom needs maintenance - shower leaks water all over the floor. Pool heating was requested and scheduled, but the timer was messed up and technician had to come out 3-times. Did get it working correctly eventually. The management company was quite responsive to the issue, but it was still a bummer since we paid extra for pool heat. Overall not a bad spot but fixing the smaller bathroom and getting the pool/spa controls working correctly is required before the next rental.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful and there were loads of kitchen utensils! Pool area is fabulous! Only slight issue was the sinks in bathroom which were weird shapes and couldn’t do any clothes handwash in them! Shower could be stronger but maybe that’s a Palm Springs issue. All in all it was a fabulous stay and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this home!

Beautiful Home

House was fantastic. Acme Management was super attentive... downside? One cannot set the thermostat lower than 74 degrees... that made it very difficult for us to sleep at night. We had to open the windows witch aggravated our allergies terribly... kind of a deal killer for us. Unfortunate because we loved the house.

Good time at Canary Palms

Overall impression of the property was good, though next time we'll probably try another property. The outside area, including pool, were excellent. The interior had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. However, some things seemed a bit dated (e.g., carpet, and the original bathrooms). Still, overall we have a positive impression of the property.

We reviewed your comments about carpet and bathrooms with the property owners and are happy to share a bit more information. The carpets are newer and high quality with upgraded padding. The bathrooms are vintage original in keeping with Palm Springs mid century style, but were restored in 2017. Thank you for the feedback.

Mid century getaway

The property lived up to its online profile and provided us a 5 star hotel feeling with its appearance, cleanliness and attention to detail. Only item that we think should be better communicated to future renters is the very strict noise policy which we did not understand fully up until we arrived and started seeing the multiple signage.

There were no issues checking in, learning how to operate the various features of the home or checking out. The home and neighborhood were very quite and in a great location to get out and experience things. We really don't have anything negative to say overall, it served our needs just fine and we can't wait to go back.

The backyard is the star of the property. The pool, spa, outdoor living and dining area, grill are all so beautiful The landscaping is the most special part. The palm trees are picture perfect, the orange tree beautiful, the cactus and succulents very nice. There is an outdoor fire pit, but we did not use it as the evenings were warm during Memorial Day weekend. We sat in the pool during the evenings. Perfect water temperature! The location of the house is great! The neighborhood where the house is located is beautiful. We will definitely book again when we return.

Self-Contained Vacation Home!

Mesa Mid-Century is the perfect getaway for hanging out around the pool and hot tub---seamless indoor/outdoor living! Immaculate landscaping, lots of patio furniture and a kitchen that has EVERYTHING. The orange tree and juice press--a California bonus! The quiet but close to everything neighborhood is perfect for strolling and a bike ride. Mountain views are wonderful. Acme is quick to respond--even warning us of an upcoming wind event and a fast response to yard/pool clean-up afterward. The oft-mentioned bathroom sinks warrant mentioning again...the design aesthetic is impressive...and makes them barely functional as sinks. The sleek faucet design is difficult (at best) to turn off with wet hands. I hope the homeowners stay sometime to understand what everyone notes in their reviews. Sinks aside, this home fulfills the Palm Springs Vacay Dream.

Everything was clean and well set-up. This was the most well-equipped kitchen of any house we have rented. As other reviews have mentioned, the sinks in the bathrooms are of such eclectic designs as to be almost un-usable, especially in the master bath. However, this is the only negative I can mention. We would probably rent this house again on our next visit.

Perfect Palm Springs House

The privacy in the backyard is unbeatable as well as the location. Very close to the Palm Springs airport and tons of restaurants. Traveling during COVID-19 can be nerve racking but ACME went above and beyond on cleaning the home and providing masks, antibacterial and cleaning supplies. Overall the home, pool, hot tub and fire pit were everything we could have asked for to make our trip so wonderful! Highly recommended!
