Fantástico condominio del segundo piso en The Shores en el Grand Traverse Resort. Bien actualizado, este 2 habitaciones, 2 baños, capacidad para 6 personas con 2 camas queen y un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Abierto todo el año. Se considerarán estancias mensuales, semanales o cortas durante cualquier temporada. Verano mínimo 3 noches. Las estadías cortas están permitidas durante las fechas principales de verano, sin embargo, no se cobrarán depósitos por reservas que sumen menos de 7 noches que se reservan en línea hasta que la reserva sea confirmada por Visit Up North el siguiente día hábil. The condo was very clean and we were able to get in with no problems. My main suggestion is the mattresses need to be replaced, especially the pullout and master bedroom ones. The beach club and pool were closed for the season, but looked really nice. I would also suggest getting plug in hair dryers as opposed to the wall ones. With a little investment, this place could be a 5 star place.

Recent stay

The condo was furnished as listed, nice view towards the lake. When we came in, the coffee pot had not been emptied and we chose not to use the pullout couch. When we removed the pillows, the pullout had a small plastic doll laying there and sand on it. We were concerned that it had not been cleaned properly. Finally the cheap plastic clips holding the drapes in the master bedroom Kept popping off. Hopefully we won’t be charged damages for this but I couldn’t replace them as they’re too small to hold the weight of the drapes.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The " water view" were completely blocked by tents and kids jumpy houses & loud music; beds and pillows were horrible; there wre not bedside tables for each side of bed= problem; unit needs huge floor and wood trim make- over; bathroom felt dirty via floor, toilet ( way too low for people in their 70's), not worth the money.

Fourth of July vacation

Notified property manager of deficiencies - none emergent and declined service during our stay - primarily it stated 8 servings of silverware and dishes and there wasn’t a full complement for 1 person… no spoons whatsoever and only 1 large knife - also one of the shower heads leaked from check in to check out profusely - multiple lights were burned out, batteries to remotes were dead to televisions and did not know there was no oven. Advertised as sunset view from second floor balcony which was not accurate as there are overgrown trees which block the sunset view totally. 1 patio door lock did not work properly and when drapes were closed you could easily see moths had burrowed into them in multiple places, the lint guard in the dryer was jammed full with lint and clearly present in the cavity behind the collector guard. Another unknown issue is other people are bussed in groves to use the very small beach available. Now for the positives - great location, security guard was very nice, washer and dryer was a blessing as was dishwasher, beds were very comfortable and we slept very well with minimal interruptions during the night. Neighbors were not seen or heard. Would absolutely stay here again with updates shown above and is great for families and having 3 tvs which were flatscreens were great.

On arrival, you will navigate a damaged parking lot that is in need of repair. The draperies are worn and the living room is hodge podged but enough. We found cutlery to be sparse but dish and glassware was abundant. The beds and linens were comfortable. Flooring was dated but clean. There were no guides for the cable. It was disconcerning that the plumbing is questionable to the point of warning guests if maintanence is required it could be at the guest expense. Good plumbing is key to guest comfort.
