This was the perfect house for our family vacation! It had everything we needed, was very well kept, and just all around perfect for us. We have 3 small children, so the private pool and putting green area were a must. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

The property was nice and clean. We brought our dog and the neighbor told us that coyotes are bad and that 7 dogs had been attacked recently. We kept ours on a leash and did not see any coyotes. We took our dog out at 3am and that same neighbor was in the yard of the property we rented with his German Shepherd. It made us a little uncomfortable.

This was a beautiful house. Very open and spacious, the kitchen was amazing and the rooms perfect for our 7 person party. The AC works so well, The private pool had my kids thoroughly entertained especially after our beach plans got derailed after some pink jellyfish stings. We look forward to returning in the future.

Perhaps the cleanest rental we have ever had. The property was just as advertised, and the management service was outstanding. Great communications and ease of use.

Birthday weekend get away

The putting green/pool/entire back yard was amazing and exactly what we were looking for! The house was very modern and clean and had everything that you could need. Our dog Nala had an absolute blast staying here for her first beach trip. Will definitely be coming back

Birthday getaway

We booked Always Sunny as a get away for my husband’s birthday. It was a gorgeous house and just in a great location. We loved the amenities of the home. The pool and putting green were a blast. A couple things that could have helped, more shower towels would be great and getting to the backyard was a little difficult with the dogs because we had to go out front to go to the back. We wish there were stairs to the backyard from the back. Other than those small things, we enjoyed our week there.

Lovely home with attentive hosts

This is a beautifully designed and decorated large home perfect for multiple couples or large families. Everything needed to cook and enjoy your time together was included. Hosts were attentive and quick to respond to any needs. Be aware there is tar in the sand at the beach so you should bring something to remove it before you track any into the home. Baby oil didn’t work well but solvents will. The home is next to a city facility so you might hear some machinery noise in the morning. This wasn’t too bothersome to us.

My family and I recently rented the property Always Sunny. We expected quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the rental during our stay.Unfortunately, a neighbor repeatedly came onto the property without permission and engaged with us on multiple occasions. One night around 11:00 PM, the neighbor triggered our security porch light. When I opened the front door, I discovered him standing in our yard with his dog, only about three feet from the stairs leading to the entrance. This behavior was highly inappropriate and concerning, particularly because the neighbor knew the unit was occupied by renters.I promptly reported the incident to AvantStay after our return. While they thanked me for bringing the matter to their attention, they have not proposed any corrective actions to prevent this from recurring for future guests, nor have they followed up since their initial email response. It appears the issue is not being taken seriously.A simple and effective solution — such as installing a “No Trespassing” sign and sending a warning letter to the neighbor — could easily prevent similar incidents and help ensure a safe, private experience for all future renters, including us. Because these basic measures do not appear to be planned, we would not consider renting this unit again in the future.

Okay stay

This was a nice property, clean for the most part. The ceiling fans had inches of dust on them and the pool was quite dirty when we first got there though. It was also not ideal that there is no private access to the backyard- would be much nicer if there were stairs that go directly to the backyard without having to go in front of the house. This property also has several cameras live monitoring which made us extremely uncomfortable, I have never seen that at a short term rental. Someone also came to clean the pool without notice. Overall this house was nice but it was quite overpriced, I would not stay again as it’s not worth the money. Finally, the roads in the neighborhood are torn up making for a rough drive in and out and we wound up getting a flat tire because of it. The house is decorated nicely and the updates make it appealing, but again just not worth the price compared to other places I’ve stayed in Port A.

Relaxing spring break getaway

We really enjoyed the property! It was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable and all the TV’s worked! We are a family with a teen, a 20-something, and a Weimar. We had a couple friends of the kids come down and stay, and we had our 30-something son and our 17-month-old grand baby visit for a day. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately it was too cool to enjoy the pool but the outside area was nice. The only couple things to consider especially if you have little ones or older people is the stairs. There is a nice wraparound deck on the second story with seating to enjoy coffee, drinks, etc. You enter the property on the second story via the outside stairs. The entire house is on the second story. But to get to the pool area, you have to use the outside stairs, go around a corner of the house, and through a gate. Which was not a problem for anyone in our group, especially since it was too cool to use the pool, but might be harder on seniors or small kids. And that’s not a complaint, just a “need to know”. Would DEF stay again! Thank you for letting us enjoy your home😊

Port Aransas Gem!

This is one of our best vacay rentals so far! The property management was very accommodating and prompt with fulfilling our needs and requests. They kept communication open to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The property was generally clean. It is well stocked and has all the basic needs to cook, do laundry if needed, and toiletries enough for a day or two. The beds were very comfortable and the beddings were clean and nice. The house is tastefully decorated and has a homey, welcoming feel. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the nicely done kitchen and staying in for dinners and hanging out by the pool. It is how it’s represented in the photos online. One thing to note though is to make sure you bring insect repellent. We came in July and the mosquitoes were thick (we most likely chanced upon new hatchings). We will surely come back again and hopefully rent this wonderful gem once more. Highly recommended!

Cleanest Beach house ever rented

We had a great stay, property was in best condition i have ever rented before. Location was a little farther from the beach, but we knew that going in and had golf cart rental lined up. Only complaint i have is there is a motion Google camera over thr pool, i understand having it for security while no one is there, but guest should be able to turn it off, still a 5*

Loved our stay!

Beautiful home, very clean, great location. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners really thought about the little things when setting up this home - small fans in closet, sound machines, beach towels, just about every appliance you would need in the kitchen. The pool and putting green were beautiful! Great location- close to great restaurants. Only recommendation would be for the owners to have some instructions on how to work the thermostat- I had to google/YouTube how to turn down the air. The air conditioner worked great after that though! Our family would definitely stay here again!
