This 2 bedroom / 3 bathroom townhome in Mammoth Lakes California is Nestled by the forest on the Sierra Star Golf Course and walking/bike path. Located in a quiet forest setting community, this split level floor plan offers plenty of space for the whole family and has been fully renovated. On the entry level are the two bedrooms, the primary featuring a King bed with en-suite full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The second guest bedroom features two twin beds, a TV and en-suite full bathroom with tub/shower combo. On the upper level of the home, is a large dining area for 6, a private balcony as well as a private jacuzzi in covered patio to enjoy after a long day of adventuring. The living room offers a cozy wood burning stove, a couch with pull out sofa bed for additional sleeping and a large flatscreen smart TV. The fully stocked kitchen has stone counters, stainless steel appliances and additional bar seating for 4. It has everything you need to prepare family meals, and a keurig coffee maker. Also on the upper level is an additional third full bathroom with walk-in shower. This premier 2 Bedroom/3 Bath unit sleeps 4 to 6 people, has WIFI, A private washer/dryer and is close to town and is just a short walk to shuttle access in winter. All Mammoth Sierra guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Approx 1200 sq. ft. with 2 outdoor parking spaces max. Guests will be provided two parking passes, motorhomes and trailers are not permitted in the outdoor parking. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This unit has 2 steps to enter and two levels inside. Our calendar is updated in real time. Great location, clean place, convenient

Great place to stay at. The heated spa was a hit. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the fan not working upstairs and there is no A/C so it got hot upstairs during the day. We stayed in mid August though it’s hot out. We will definitely return and stay at this place.

Good, well equipped cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, a solid and functional vacation rental. The spacious and comfortable living area was a nice feature. We were three adults but I think a larger group would be fine. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, which was a plus as we like to cook. Both bedrooms b had on suite bathrooms and showers, plus there’s another bathroom and shower upstairs if someone was using the sleeper sofa. The location and parking are good, assuming you are fine with a short walk to the shuttle line. It’s then a few stops to Eagle lodge. A few things to consider. My friends complained that the bed in master bed was a bit small, it’s a queen maybe ? The other bedroom has two singles, which were comfortable enough but definitely on the small side. The place seems to be showing it’s age and a little TLC might not go amiss e.g. the extraction fans in the bathroom were really loud. Finally, the decor and 1990’s feel may not be for everyone. That being said, the tariff is reasonable, it’s clean, comfortable and well equipped. It would be in my shortlist to rent again.

Happy with what could be controlled

We were nervous the condo we usually rented is no longer available nor were any available thru our usual reservation service. We were pleasantly surprised with the unit as well as Mammoth Sierra. Considering our trip was ruined by the heavy smoke from the fires, unhappiness with the unit or management could have really compounded things negatively off the scale. Really the only thing i could say, very minor, is the shower heads could use an upgrade, master bedroom very weak. I'd have no 2nd thoughts about renting this unit AND using Mammoth Sierra to book. Never experienced this kind of heat and humidity there. The smoke so heavy we couldn't open windows or doors. First time in 50 years going to Mammoth where AC was needed but nobody has AC here. But sitting in a closed up room with AC in Mammoth just seems wrong. Just hope for better luck from mother nature next time...

Good location and unit layout, but needs some serious updating.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Its a good sized unit. Probably best for a small family. However, the beds, bedding and main living room couch and pillows really need to be replaced to before I could recommend it to a friend. The small wall heaters work and eventually heat the rooms, but are on the noisy side. The kitchen was very minimally supplied. The spa was clean and worked just fine, but the deck area where it is located needed some updating too. Overall, it seems that no money has been spent to keep the place up for several years.

Clean but showing some wear, especially carpeting. Only problems were with hot tub (not hot, not really responsive to control, and made upper floor smell a bit like pool chemicals). Cable OK for computer surfing but TV upstairs during prime time and later was skippy, jumpy, and consequently unwatchable - possibly due to network bandwidth problems.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was reasonably well-equipped, and the wood-fired stove worked great. Snow was cleared from our walkway and the parking lots, which we really appreciated because it was a very stormy weekend. The nearest shuttle stop was for the purple line to the Village. The walk wasn't too long but this wasn't the most conveniently located condo for shuttle access.
