La Casa Habana.......the Harbor House on the gulf of Mexico-Exclusive and PRIVATE Morton Street at Mile Marker 58 on Grassy Key. Modern kitchen with granite counter top dining as well as a formal dining area with panoramic views of the Gulf. The covered porch is 24' by 15' overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. 11 X 23 pool that is 5.6' deep.
The dock extends out to 4' of water and can accommodate almost any boat. Keys fishing right from the dock. A swim ladder is also provided for your convenience.
Ceramic tile thru-out the home. The master bedroom has a king size bed, private bath and flat screen TV. The 1st guest bedroom has a Queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has twins.
Hi speed wireless internet, gas grill and 4 flat screen TV's for your enjoyment.
This tropical paradise is nicely landscaped and boasts a 26' pool with extensive decking and spa.
Two kayaks, one single and one double are included for your use, please put the paddles and life vests back up on the deck when not is use (please hose down with fresh water first).
Grassy Key has bird life that will astound you. In the water you may see manatees, dolphins, schools of snapper, lobster and corals. There are a few beaches nearby, but most of the shoreline is rocky or very shallow. You can swim from right off the dock away from the coral and sea grass, make sure to use a divers down flag.

Pets are not normally accepted. Please ask for approval before booking and if approved pet fee will be additional.

Our technician must have access to the pool area.
Pool service may not be refused. If service is denied, a $150 fee will be charged, and service will not be rescheduled during your stay. This means any water quality or discoloration issues that arise later will not be addressed.
By booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Beautiful property and amazing views! Very clean and comfortable. Host was very communicative when it came to issues we had with the pool heat and AC, fixed right away. Really enjoyed the screened in porch and pier. Had a very relaxing vacation. Will be back! Thank you!!

The view was everything, the porch our favorite hangout. It felt private from the properties on either side. Well equipped kitchen. Great restaurants on Marathon. We would definitely book this property again and Lindsay was great to work with, responding promptly each time I had a question! Great experience for our first visit to the keys.

The pool is in bad condition, many missing tiles and extremely hot. Large umbrellas or sun shades recommended for some shade to keep pool temperature cooler.Toiletries needed for both bathrooms. Many ants, alive & dead in master bedroom & bath.Also, our stay should have started with a full tank of gas for the grill. It was empty & was told to take it to get filled & would be reimbursed. Overall we had a nice stay, just needing a little TLC.

The house overall was as described. The outdoor areas were great. We enjoyed the dock and pool area. The house location was great for us. Plenty of parking for our two vehicles. It was a nice and quiet street. And everything was very clean. Our only complaint was how run down things were…especially the mattresses. It wasn’t anything we couldn’t manage for a week, but that would definitely be an area for improvement.

The house was very nice and well equipped. Check in and check out were easy and straight forward. One of the main reasons we picked this house was the hot tub but the heat did not work for the majority of our 2 week stay. The stench from the seaweed that gathers up on shore could be overwhelming at times. Not much you can do about that except hope the wind blows the other way.

A Bit of Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Habana. The house is lovely and in a great neighborhood. The privacy, views, pier, pool and ocean area were fantastic! The home is well stocked and the kayaks and outside games were enjoyed by all of us. We would highly recommend this vacation home.

This house is in a great location. You're right on the water (caught some fish off the docks). It was very easy to get to parks, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Traffic was not a problem in Marathon early December. Our host responded quickly to all requests. This house is not new, but pretty much met all our needs. The TV/WiFi service was much better than most places we've stayed.We didn't get to use the kayaks. Our first 2 days that would have worked as we did other things. Then the winds picked up.

Grassy Key never disappoints

Second time staying on Grassy Key. Love the area. Not much better than sipping coffee in the wee hours of the morning on a fantastic screen deck with the Gulf in full view. The house was perfect. The photos do not do the inside or screened areas justice. Tons of space for your crowd. The kitchen was well stocked with items needed for any cooking in and having a washer/dryer on living level, and lower level was a nice bonus for those beach towels. The new dock was really nice and we saw sting rays, needle fish, a nurse shark and lots of other sea life. Any communications with property manager were prompt and responsive. No reservations at all about recommending this property. Plenty of space for you and your family to kick back, relax and soak up all the keys has to offer.

Amazing family getaway!

Great location halfway point in the keys. About an hour drive to Key West. Super quiet area. There was 6 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. You can relax in the home or outside there is a screened in porch with beautiful views or sit out by the pool or out at the end of the dock. Nice size pool and a hot tub. You can snorkel off the dock or take one of the two kayaks out. There is also games and a pool table. One evening we did see a nurse shark swim around in front of the dock which was cool. Super nice kitchen which has all the cooking utensils and pans that you need. It's like a 10 min drive to grocery store in Marathon. If you have a problem with stairs this place is not for you. It was not an issue for us but there is only 2 staircases to get up to the house. Sunsets are amazing here. King bed was so comfortable. House was super clean. Snorkeling we saw lots of small fish, some barracuda. Out on the kayaks my kids saw some dolphins. Lindsey the host was great, always answered my questions quickly. Everything about the place was A. The only things I could say need improved is the tiles around the outside of the pool are coming off and need replaced, and the pillows on all the beds seem older & could use updating. It would also be helpful to have instructions operating the hot tub & the living room cable tv was a little confusing. Bring bug spray the no seeums were bad by pool. Would definitely stay again! My family loved the place!!
