This custom-built gem, freshly completed in 2023, now opens its doors to guests, and you have the unique opportunity to be among the very first to experience its charms. Situated in a peaceful downtown neighborhood, just a mere four blocks away from the renowned Pearl Street, this lower-level 1BR rental, boasting its private entrance, serves as your gateway to the myriad treasures awaiting you in Boulder and the magnificent Rocky Mountains that encircle it.

A wonderful stay for a girls birthday celebration weekend! The hosts even decorated ahead of our arrival with items I sent in advance. Beautiful place! A little noise from floor above and more ideal for a couple plus children versus 4 adult women. Thank you Sara and Svein!

Svein and Sara have a beautiful garden level space with ample room to spread out and get comfortable. They’re just a short walk from Pearl Street and a scenic 30 minute walk to CU and Folsom Field. We loved how new the place was and the high ceilings and heated bathroom floors! Check-in was an ease and their communication was excellent! The only cons we found were lack of a full size mirror and natural light.

From the very beginning once I booked my reservation and started communicating with ownership they were very transparent, extremely responsive and very accommodating. I travel a great deal mostly stay at Ritz Carlton or St Regis properties throughout the world and I must say this property is managed and maintained at that sensational level. It was an absolute pleasure staying at this property and would be truly grateful if I have an opportunity to do so again soon.

Great location. Amazing hosts. Would absolutely stay here again. The unit is well equipped, cozy, and conveniently located a short walk away from Pearl Street. Sara and Svein went out of their way to accommodate us and even provided beverages and snacks as a welcome gift.

This property is misleading and not worth the money. The picture is of a gorgeous house...the inside of which you will never see. Calling a 1 BR a 2BR because a small living room has a pull out sofa bed should not be allowed. If a property does not have a second bedroom, it should not allow it to be labeled as such. This is a tiny basement apartment. There is not even a stove. There is a sliding glass door in the living room that opens to a wall 3 feet away. There is a window in the only bedroom that opens to a wall 3 feet away. The pictures look nice in the posting, but this is a tiny basement bunker. For the money spent, there are a lot of real 2 bedroom places of much better value. I've rented in Boulder quite a bit. This was the lowest value for the money of any of them...

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the property did not meet your expectations. We do want to clarify a few important points for future guests. This property is clearly advertised as a one bedroom accommodation, not a two bedroom. We are also very clear that the second sleeping area is a pullout sofa located in the living room. The listing includes photos of every room, the sleeping arrangements, and a virtual tour so guests can see exactly what the space looks like before booking. The available amenities are also accurately shown and described in the listing. City of Boulder regulations do not allow us to have a second full kitchen in a single family home, which is why the space is equipped exactly as advertised. We have hosted many guests here and have been fortunate to receive consistently positive feedback. We also make every effort to communicate with guests before arrival and during their stay. Unfortunately, we did not hear any of these concerns during your visit, despite reaching out several times to make sure you had received the check in information and everything you needed. We completely understand that every property will not be the right fit for every guest. However, when the listing description, photos, sleeping arrangements, amenities, and virtual tour are all provided in advance, there is unfortunately very little we can do if those details are not reviewed before booking. We encourage future guests to look through all of this information carefully so they can make sure the property is the right fit for their needs.

What a perfect Boulder weekend! The owners were so gracious and thoughtful and the home is lovely. We were able to easily walk to Pearl St for shopping and dinner and also enjoy the beautiful trails nearby.

The property is as advertised and the hosts are wonderful. Pearl Street is just blocks away and CU campus is less than 2 miles away. Extremely happy we booked this rental.

CO vs KU Basketball

My husband and I stayed three nights, Feb 2025. Beautiful property, comfortable and spotless -- just as described. We got to meet Svein and Sara as well. Super nice hosts who made sure all was well and were quick to respond to questions. We would definitely recommend!

Absolute luxury in perfect location

This place lives up to the pictures. Gorgeous kitchen, beautifully tiled bathroom, super comfy king-sized bed, wide open living room - all very spacious. The neighborhood is a dream. Made me want to move there. The host went above and beyond to answer my questions and compensate for the dysfunctional VRBO app.

Graduation visit

Beautiful modern studio unit. Spotless, comfortable, quiet, and perfectly located within walking distance to Pearl Street. Lots of small details that are very thoughtful. Owner however should be more transparent in listing as unit has virtually no natural light. Otherwise, a great accomodation.

While it is true that our rental is located in the lower level of our house (which is clearly stated in the rental description), we do have several windows and glass doors that allow natural light to come in. Since we first started hosting at this location in 2023, we have received nothing but outstanding five-star reviews across several vacation rental platforms. We strive to be transparent in our listing description and have even provided a virtual tour on the VRBO website to give potential guests an accurate view of the space. We also have numerous photos and clearly state that this is the lower level of our house. We understand that communication is key, and we are always available to answer any questions or address any concerns that our guests may have.
