Beautiful Home with an Inviting Pool!!!

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from our stay in Cape Coral and had a wonderful experience! The house is beautiful with lots of room. We did not even use a couple of the rooms with our family of five. The master bedroom is large with a lot of closet space and a very comfortable bed. The master bath has a beautiful shower and separate large bath tub. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals and all the appliances are spotless! The house is beautifully decorated and feels very warm and inviting. We loved the pool! It is very large and was the perfect temperature. I'm pretty wimpy when it comes to cool pool temperatures, but I could walk right in it. It still was refreshing and cooled us off in the August heat. There is a bench along the corner of the pool that you can sit on and look out to the canal to watch for boats and wildlife. Also there is a cool color changing spotlight in the pool to turn on for those night swims. We caught catfish and a couple of stingrays off the dock, which was exciting. We put the crab pot out a couple of times, but did not have any luck, but it was still fun to pull it up to see if anything was in it. The dock area is bigger than what it looks like in the picture. The washer and dryer are huge. All the light switches are labeled which was great since there are a lot of lights! The neighborhood is quiet, but you are close to a main street to get you to where you want to go. Iris from BMI, the company that checks you in and out, was very nice and gave us a lot of good suggestions of places to see. She was quick and efficient and didn't want to take up any of our vacation time! Most of all, the owner is wonderful to work with! She always answered all our questions very quickly and thoroughly. She genuinely wants you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Thank you to the Chesley family for sharing your amazing home with us!!!

Home had a great floor plan. Plenty of seating and room for family to gather together and relax. Nice furnishings and all the conveniences. Kitchen was well equipped. Nice pool and great location for relaxation. Close to Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva. Had a great stay. Owner was easy to work with and quick to reply.

Only one draw back...the air conditioning could not be set below 76. For the time of year we stayed it was a little warm at times.

All of the comforts of home

  • 5 of 5

I had hoped that the home would be as nice as I had expected, it exceeded our expectations! The house is very spacious with everything and more than you would have at home. The pool is huge with flotation devices should you want them, We really enjoyed the lounge chairs when not in the pool. My husband caught several catfish , large blue crabs and a snook. He threw them all back, but it kept him entertained at night just watching them swim around the fish light. Grocery stores, dept. stores and fine dining are all just a short drive. We enjoyed meeting the locals when walking our dogs, they were very friendly.

Everything we had hoped for

  • 5 of 5

Our 16 day stay for Christmas & New Years was wonderful. Home was clean, spacious with all the amenities. Kitchen well equipped for our "gourmet cook" daughter in law. Pool was a fantastic hit with our daughter & granddaughter. Loved the fish light, catching blue crabs & enjoying the dock for morning coffee or evening fish watching. The homeowner was absolutely wonderful to deal with. We had an issue with the wifi which we were able to rectify. The homeowner was very attentive in ensuring the problem was completely resolved.

Enjoyed golf, beaches, shopping, 2 farmers markets, the Ford & Edison winter homes & a non franchise Italian restaurant nearby "Mangia Bene".

Home comfortably accommodated our family of 6 adults and one child. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Cape Coral area.

My son, my parents, and myself stayed in Cape Coral for 11 days. The description doesn't do it justice. It is huge and beautiful. Very comfortable. The pool was large and very warm. We swam, caught crabs and fished and my son kyaked. We all enjoyed everything. The only regret is that we had to come home. Hope to come back next year.

Such a beautiful home, great location quiet street. Truly a home away from home. If you like the pictures you'll love the house. The furnishings are very comfortable, the pool is great and we had a great time catching blue crab off the dock! If our future travels take us back to Fort Meyers Fl. I will most definitely try to stay here again.
