Aloha Aku CoCoPalm Suite – Experience Tropical Bliss

Summary:

Our luxury Beachfront estate has 4 beachfront one-bedroom suites and a garden view two-bedroom Ohana. Each suite has a private entrance, separate living room, full kitchen and is like having your own condo at the beach in Maui. This special place is hidden behind a private, double gated entrance, lined with 700 ft of lighted coconut palms that lure you into the feeling of leaving the world behind. But is still centrally placed in Kihei nearly all of the amenities you might desire. BBKM 2013/0002



The Space:

Formally known as Aikane Hale, Aloha Aku means "the place that gives love and kindness." Blessed by Kaunas, Aloha Aku is a tranquil, adult-centric property that offers a serene escape amidst exotic Hawaiian beauty.

The total number of guests is limited to two (2) adults and up to two (2) minors per bedroom. Pre-approval is required for minors 13 years old or younger before booking.

The CoCoPalm Suite, located at the end-most part, offers a luxurious and serene experience with a sense of privacy. The estate features a rich array of exotic palms and fruit trees, some of which are rare. The beach out front of Aloha Aku is only accessible from Aloha Aku or the private neighboring homes and condos. As a result, the beach is underused and hardly traveled. Sometimes it's like having your own private beach. Part of the lawn stretching out towards the beach is county-owned and open to the public, but the protected wetlands beside us help create more privacy and a sense of seclusion.

Nestled behind the tallest mangrove forest in Hawaii, Aloha Aku is a short walk from mid-Kihei's conveniences, including groceries, shopping, eateries, bars, car rentals, and dive shops. It's also just twenty minutes from the airport.

Each suite includes air conditioning, ceiling fans, free high-speed Wi-Fi, free on-site parking, keyless entry, flat-screen HD TVs with DirecTV, and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the ili-ili (smooth) stone dipping pools, a Jacuzzi with sunset views, and a gas barbecue area nestled among acacia palm trees overlooking the La'ie wetlands.

Guests describe Aloha Aku as the ultimate place for relaxation. The property exudes a sense of peacefulness and comfort, making it a perfect home base for exploring Maui or simply relaxing on-site. The estate's beauty and tranquility create a wondrous state of being, ensuring that many guests never feel the need to leave the property during their stay.

Room was clean and we had a great view of the ocean with gorgeous sunsets. Nice beach for walks, you could walk for miles. The amenities for the beach are included, like chairs, umbrellas, coolers. They have snorkeling equipment, beach games, kayaks and bikes. Lots to do. Small resort, no kids and that makes it a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The only thing I would add to make it a 5plus place would be another chair in the living area and a counter top so the stools could be used.

Super clean and right on the beach

We had a great time in Maui made better because we were in a roomy, clean and safe spot. The master bedroom had plenty of space and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Very worth the price.

Just by saying it's our 4th stay at Aloha Aku Inn should be enough. We love it here. Can't wait for our next visit. Hot tub, paddleboard, beach chairs, umbrella, kayaks, bonus is the comfortable bed.

Excellent Stay. Highly Recommend

We loved our stay here! The common area was stocked with just about every possible amenity for a beach stay. The unit was beautiful and literally only about 50yds from the beach. Even though you’re in the middle of the city, there were very few people on the beach with us. This is a great place for relaxing and downtime. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Paradise

This was our second return to Aloha Aku. We love the grounds, location, room (bed is comfy), baked goods and breakfast type items available, and the spa (although it takes a long time to warm up). We also love the fact we can use the chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for our trips to the beach. Staff is friendly and the ducks and Hawaiian geese make for a fun welcoming committee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back! Mahalo for everything!

No Kai Oi

What can we say other than we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aloha Aku. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We named the friendly ducks Fred and Ethel. We enjoyed the jacuzzi every night too. We appreciated that anything and everything we would need to battle the rain, go the beach, or play in the water was made available. Thanks to Linda and Jose for getting the place ready so we could check in early. I especially loved swimming with the turtles at the beach directly in front of the property. We walked to many restaurants and liked how close we were to the grocery store and Long Drugs. We would definitely stay again and we are already trying to recruit other family members to join us. Thank you Gary and Charlene for sharing your space with us - such fond memories we will never forget.

Lovely place to stay in Kihei

We've been to Maui 5 times now, and stayed in different places, but this unit we found in Kihei was exceptional. Nicely laid out, spacious and clean. The grounds were well maintained, and the staff on hand kind and helpful. Communication with the owners Charlene and Gary was great and always yielded a quick turnaround on any questions we had. They were very receptive to any feedback we had at the end of our stay, which is always nice to see. They clearly care a lot about their business and the happiness of their renters. The unit came stocked with some lovely goodies in the fridge to greet us upon our arrival. The homemade banana bread is to DIE FOR! Another great feature was the virtually silent air conditioning. Fantastic! We will definitely be making ALOHA AKU our go to place to stay when we're in Kihei again.

Peace and Quiet on Maui is possible here!

The rest of Maui may be full of noisy tourists, but here we found peace and quiet. We loved having the beach a few steps away and a private lanai to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. The perfect location for peace and quiet!

Perfect Peace & Quiet

Aloha Aku was exactly as advertised, the beach was right out front a few paces and the turtles were swimming right off shore and even came up on the beach. Having the kayaks and paddle boards readily available was a big plus, just go in the morning when the water is calm. The location was perfect with shopping and many dining options within walking distance. We plan to go again to this property in the future.

Beautiful property

Nothing can compare to waking up with a room right on the beach. Plenty of amenities available. One of our best days on Maui was spent just hanging out here on the beach, paddle boarding, sunbathing on the some what private beach, and even included a turtle coming to take a nap on the beach with us in the afternoon. Very close to some pretty good restaurants in Kihei. We will definitely try to return here again.

Great spot!

Secluded and peaceful, we loved every second of being here! Just steps from the beach, and very close to anything else we wanted to do. It was also great how they had paddle boards and kayaks we could use, all in all and amazing stay and we will definitely return!

Exactly what we needed and wanted

The property was described exactly as shown on line. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the thoughtful little arrival gifts, to the community library, the amenities that were available for both landlubbers and water lovers, Jose helped answered any questions we had & we enjoyed the welcoming resident ducks. They would greet us when returning from our day trips with their little tails wagging. The beach was wonderful. We already reserved a return stay this fall. Thanks for a wonderful week.

A week in Paradise

Absolutely loved our stay. Everything was perfect and just as pictured. Our view was amazing, bed was very comfortable and the beach was the best. We used the beach chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, spent some time in the hot tub too! The only extra we didn't were the bicycles because. we just ran out of time. We will definitely return to this little bit of paradise. Thank you.
