Early June visit

Super clean, well appointed, all the appliances you need, and best of all -- shady view of the ocean. We arrived two hours early and Bryant allowed us to go in as the condo was ready for us. Half mile walk to the boardwalk and about the same to the pier.

Carolina Beach condo

We had a wonderful time at the condo and will definitely be back. The location was perfect, watching the sunrise every morning was beautiful and the condo was relaxing and clean.

Great mini vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great and we enjoyed having the walkway to the beach so close. Everything was clean. Can’t wait to come back!

GREAT LOCATION!

This unit was very clean, well decorated and the perfect location for beach days and walks to restaurants. The property managers were very responsive and organized. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean unit

We loved the location of the unit, where it was a nice walk to get to the boardwalk area, but far enough away that the beach wasn't crowded. The unit was clean with a nice open area kitchen/living room area to move around and relax when not at the beach.

Good time

This was a great location to be directly on the beach. If you are looking to relax and be at the beach, this is the perfect spot. I had 3 adults and 2 kids. It fit our needs perfectly.

Great place

Girls trip was a blast. Very short walk to the beach. Only thing sucked was 4 flights of stairs to get to the room and the parking situation. Need more space to park. It was a tight squeeze and was only allow 2 passes and needed 3. But it was worth it!

Right On The Beach

Outstanding location right on the beach with easy private access. Very nice porch with tall chairs provided excellent ocean views. Overall nice, clean condo, but noticed a couple palmetto bugs the last couple days. Did not have a smart TV or streaming device, but that was not a big deal. Well stocked kitchen but was short on forks. Parking was tight and a bit of a pain. The great location outweighed all the minor issues.

A Carolina Beach New Year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was the perfect place, exactly what I was looking for.....Oceanfront, great view of the ocean. Conveniently located for walking to restaurants, boardwalk etc.I was surprised to see that the place was nor clean. Master shower was dirty, there was a used bar of soap in the shower and a wad of hair in the drain. The kitchen sink was very dirty and there was a dead roach in the pots/pans drawer.Also, the entrance light fixture did not work. I feel that someone needs to check those units before renting them. Price for the stay is not cheap and I am sure cleaning fees are paid by the guests....

Vacation from reality

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location but a little outdated condo. When it says bring all your own supplies it really means to bring EVERYTHING. A little below what we expected but worked for our needs. Had an issue with the dryer not working so mgmt company provided towels for a few days until it was fixed and we could do our own laundry. LOTS of nails sticking up on the stairs and walkway to beach plus outside shower was not operatable. Had a cut off hose that we had to try and use to rinse the sand off which only reached to our bellies so not a pretty site watching us try to get our entire bodies rinse off! Not sure if we would stay at this property again...would more than likely pay just a little more to get an updated condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the location of the condo and the beach is gorgeous and just a short stroll across the semi-private boardwalk. This particular unit is nicely furnished, clean, in good shape. We LOVED the radio speakers in each room. The keyless entry stopped working (after hours) while we were there but the agency handled it promptly. I do have 2 complaints and the only reason I'm mentioning this here is that I emailed the rental agency and my email was ignored., which I feel is unprofessional. The kitchen is very sparsely stocked - it's missing a few basic necessities like a liquid measuring cup, a slotted spoon, a chef's knife, and there is not much silverware. We didn't do much cooking and I know this seems petty, but these are just basic items that every kitchen needs. I mention it only so the owners can restock. You can definitely "make it work" if you don't plan to cook much. But the most disturbing event was when I removed the sheets from the bunk beds (upon our departure), a GIANT cockroach crawled out from the mattress. The thought of that there in my childrens' beds was unnerving. And once home, I unpacked all of our bags outside in case any had crawled into our suitcases. It's just something that the rental agency needs to be aware of so the unit can be resprayed. Note: We did not see any bugs at any other time.

Great condo, poor management

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful condo with a fantastic view. Our keys to the condo were tricky from the start (jiggle a little to get it to work). On Wednesday afternoon both of our keys would not go in the lock, they would only go in halfway and we were nearly locked out. It took us about 30 minutes to get in. I called the office about 4:30 and told them what happened and let them know we didn't feel comfortable locking the door. I was told that no one could come out to the condo that day but we could drive to the office and pick up a spare set of keys. I told them that since I was on the beach at the time I wouldn't be able to come to the office. Spare keys probably would not have fixed problem seeing as both of our keys would not go into the lock. They said that a maintenance worker would come the next day (Thursday) and put WD-40 in the lock and give us a spare set of keys. No one came by on Thursday or called. I assumed they got busy and would come on Friday. Again, no one came and no one called. I was disappointed that no one came and also disappointed that I was asked to come out to the office to pick up spare keys. Good customer service would say "We do not want to interrupt your special vacation, we will come to you." (Even though I believe spare keys would NOT have fixed the problem, the problem was in the lock).
