The property was very nice and updated. The neighbors are clearly bothered that the house next door is a rental, hence the erroneous noise complaints from them from kids playing in the open forest behind the house. The house was clean minus the glassware and dog hair on bedding in one of the rooms. Check in was easy. The property management company was communicative. The jacuzzi was clean which was great. Overall a nice stay and situated in a beautiful location.

Incredible Stay!

Absolutely loved the Birchwood Retreat...what a thoughtfully stocked and perfect vacation house for our family. From a great set of chef's knives to every spice you might need and every pan to make a great meal...and a beautiful patio and interior space. Honestly could not recommend a house more. Really really enjoyed the stay with our kids and their friends.

Cozy Home

This place felt just like home. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels, pillows, etc. The hot tub was a nice addition too.

Perfect cozy home to stay with family. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, and great appliances. Great fireplace and hot tub! The shuttle to the hill was easy and super convenient. Would love to return soon.

Family ski vacation

The house and location exceeded expectations. The house was like new and fully equipped for guests to enjoy, including beautiful towels and good WiFi. Tahoe Getaways provided great service. The Mountaineer Shuttle service made our daily commute to the lifts very easy, door to door.

Good review

Good location to the mountains. Had the garage door malfunction on us as we were leaving but it was fixed quickly. People who came out to help was great.

Nice house for small groups

The house is great for a small group. A perfect location for Alpine (free shuttle from Mountaineer delivers door-to-door). We arrived to find a dirty hot tub, but the management company sent someone who quickly drained and refilled it. There is only one common room for everyone. The kitchen was modern and well-maintained.

Idyllic Tahoe getaway

I was there with my 2 sons 1 daughter in law and my 2 grandchildren attending a family reunion. My brother is dealing with stage 4 cancer and we all wanted to get together for a lasting memory and to celebrate graduations. This home provided the perfect place to have solace and time before joining the rest of the family. The home was cozy, perfectly appointed and there was nothing missing! All amenities were top of the line and the space perfect. My grand babies enjoyed the little nooks and the bunk beds. I hope we can return soon! Thank you, Leticia
