Welcome to The Pearl! Discover a unique Outer Banks experience where you can rest, recharge, and celebrate with family and friends. The Pearl has operated as an exclusive B&B in Duck for the last few seasons consistently receiving 5 Star ratings - at pearlguest. This season - the entire property is available for our guests.

We have created a Spa living experience. The custom architecture in the style of old Newport with cathedral ceilings, multiple wings designed around a courtyard, hand selected furnishings all in a Chanel inspired setting. Sleeps 14 - Six bedrooms (7 sleeping areas), 5 California King and 2 Queen beds. Each bedroom has it's own chandelier and each bath has a designer shower - two have a full bath. The six bedroom, 6 bath property has two connected living spaces centered around a courtyard with privacy and space for all. Lounge by the Pool (June to Jazz Fest). Relax in the Grand Room, or the Bubble Lounge, stroll the path to town, the boardwalk to the beach, or park at the beach as our guest on Plover Drive.

We also have designed the space for brides to be or for returning guests for years to come after their celebration. All set for your night on the town or wedding plans with three Professional make up vanities. Reflect in the full length classic French mirror just off the Studio.

This property was very nice - so much room. The insidre was beautiful - outside needs some attention but still a great stay. Only other comment would be if the room beside kitchen is going to be a bedroom there should be some privacy film on glass.

The pictures don't lie. The rooms are big and styled just as advertised. The light fixtures are impressive. The house is big and accomodation so roomy. The pool provided entertainment for the kids. The kitchen is small, the property - buggy, and the grill needed to be burnt off, but otherwise, a good rental. Thanks for a good vacation.

Spent 4th of July at the Pearl and we loved it. Perfect for 6 couples and a short stroll to the oceanfront. Can't wait to come back again!

The house was very unique and unlike anywhere we've ever stayed. We really liked the location and how easy it was to walk right into Duck. The pool was also a big hit with the 2 & 3 year old. They would've stayed in there all day and night if we let them! Alot of cookware was in the pantry and drawers, which was very convenient! Deer crossed thru the front yard and side woods frequently which was nice to see. Our family spent alot of time on the porch, it was nice to be able to sit out there! The property had spiders unlike anything we've ever seen. The pool, bedroom balconies, and front porch had some serious webs. We had to wash one of the bedroom sheets when we got in because it had some spots on it, and wasn't fully cleaned. Wasn't a huge deal we used the washer and dryer provided. We would have liked to use the fire pit, but it wasn't out for use. Our grandmother who wasn't out and about much couldnt watch tv in the back livingroom during the day because of the glare from the sun and no curtains. Again, not a biggie. The beach was a bit too far of a walk for us with the kids, but a short drive. There was 12 of us and it was a good home for us to stay for our first trip to the OBX!

Wonderful stay at The Pearl — Spacious, Comfortable, and Well-Located

We had a great week at The Pearl! The house was spotless on arrival, and check-in was smooth and simple. The photos honestly don’t do it justice — it’s much larger in person, with a unique layout that gave our group of 8 plenty of room to hang out together or find quiet corners to relax. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, which made beach days and evenings super convenient.The location was great — close to shops and restaurants, with Walmart about 15–20 minutes away. The beach is about a 5-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk. We’d recommend biking or driving, especially on the way back with beach gear. One thing to note: the house sits on a busy road with no crosswalk, so use caution crossing (though most cars did stop for us).The house had everything we needed — working appliances, a well-stocked kitchen, individual AC units in each room (which we loved), and a garage with some basic beach gear. The pool was a big hit with plenty of chairs and a much-appreciated umbrella for shade. The outdoor areas could use some light maintenance (like pressure washing), but it didn’t affect our enjoyment.It’s a great fit for families with older kids, but may not be ideal for guests with accessibility needs due to the number of steps. Parking was easy, and communication with the owner was quick and helpful.The highlight for us was the sunroom overlooking the pool — it was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and sunshine. We would absolutely stay here again and highly r

We consistently provide luxury experiences for our guests. We invested our time in the Pearl in each and every room throughout the property not simply to create a basic asset to rent but to truly create a unique experience for our guests.

Why they chose this property

From it's incorporation at the turn of the century, to today, the Town of Duck has changed and grown tremendously over the last 30 years. Each step of development has been carefully thought through. From the town green that hosts Yoga mornings and evening family movies throughout the summer, to the Jazz Festival in the fall, and Christmas festivities at year end, the town has a vibrant center. Great restaurants, the boardwalk, and activities year round. The folks planning the growth have truly taken the time to develop the infrastructure to be completely dedicated to the families and friends that come to spend our precious time together. When you stay at the Pearl you are directly across from the iconic "Welcome to Duck" sign. The town and the beach are a 3 minute drive or a leisurely walk. It truly is the perfect location.

The Pearl is not a standard beach house. It is a property designed throughout with the finest furnishings, amenities, accoutrements. It is an ode to fashion, to the world of Vogue and Chanel.
