We stayed for 5 nights and it was a prefect home base for us. We traveled 8min into the city each morning with an easy drive. Some amazing food very near by! The house had all the space we needed and all the things needed to cook when we needed to! We would absolutely stay again!

The place was perfect. Nice clean place with lots of room for large groups. The area is quiet and close to restaurants and a short drive to downtown. Check in and out was made easy by the owners and responded quickly to all our questions. I would honestly give it more than 5 stars if possible. It has everything you need. Thank you Elliot and Lori!!!

We loved our stay and our hosts. The house is very clean and decorated so cute! Our hosts were so helpful and very responsive. We hope to stay there again.

What a fun home! Spacious, yet cozy home in the heart of Buffalo. The kids had a great time in the game room while we were “snowed in” for a day. The bedrooms were great and the couch on the 2nd floor was big enough for two of our boys to crash on! We loved the clear egg chairs in the”sun room”. They were so great to sit and relax in while watching the snow fall. Would highly recommend this home to those visiting the are!

From the get go we thought his accommodation would be excellent....and we can now confirm it was.The house had all the amenities you'd need, fantastic location too. Very cool VIP lounge.Would definitely recommend

This house is not only impeccably clean and stylish, but it’s also situated in a charming, cozy neighborhood that’s conveniently close to everything you need. What truly sets this property apart, however, is the host’s exceptional attention to detail and genuine kindness, making it one of the best VRBO experiences I’ve had. Fantastic Easter Stay with Family in Buffalo

We had an amazing time at the Velvet Oasis! We loved the decor, the round dining room table and chandelier, the jungle room with the bubble seats and the roominess of the house. The photos and write up were extremely accurate. We communicated with the owner a couple of times during our stay and she would answer us within minutes. We look forward to staying again!

Our stay was amazing!! The house was super clean and comfy and so uniquely decorated, we loved it! The kids loved the games in the loft. The host was super responsive and helpful. We couldn’t get the keurig to work, which she said she will look into right after our stay, and she offered to DoorDash us coffee! So sweet! This was a family trip to Niagara Falls/Canada and location was great. We would definitely stay here again!

From start to finish, everything was excellent, to put in short perfect.

What you see on the pictures is what you get, not to mention the host in whom we didn't get to meet, but it seems like we did, they were a phone call away and very polite/professional

Luxury accomodations! Fantastic stay!

This house is amazing, well cared for, and the guest experience is clearly the priority. This house has 2 bedrooms and a living room on each floor, everything is immaculate and comfortable. We made good use of the well appointed kitchen, spent hours relaxing in the loft listening to the curated vinyl albums on the record player (a fun retro touch that added a huge amount of character to our stay). The neighborhood is quiet, the bedrooms are cozy, and the beds are super comfortable. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome with personalized touches for our group, and provided great information before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to any group looking to spend time together in Buffalo! I've stayed in several rental homes, but never one as lovely as this one.

The Velvet Oasis —Fabulous!

We loved our stay! The house was clean, lovely decor throughout the home, comfortable beds/bedding, kitchenware and other house hold items were in great / like new condition and plenty of space! Who needs a TV when you have a VIP lounge! The arcade games, foosball table and the record player were loved by all!! We were inspired and visited a local record shop and bought a few records to take home to use for our future record player we now HAVE to have!! (I gave a 4 star for location due to the street parking, since you can only park on one side during the daytime. Not a huge deal, but just an fyi). The owner was fantastic! Great communication and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay!! Would definitely stay again if we are in the area!!

Just like the brochure

Spent a rainy weekend here as a local vacation with the grandparents. I can honestly say the house is as good as the pictures. We enjoyed every room and all of its style! The arcade and foosball were a hit with the kids, but they also enjoyed playing records for the first time. Every morning was a race to sit in the egg chairs. All of the furniture including the mattresses were high quality and in great shape. The kitchen is easy to navigate and has everything needed to cook for a large family. We were all very comfortable, including seating 8 of us at the dining room table. The off-street parking was initially a concern but we never had an issue finding a spot. Check in was easy. Our host was great with communication and gave us the privacy and independence that makes VRBO feel like a second home. I'll be keeping this house bookmarked for the future!
