Te encantará este apartamento de 1 dormitorio decorado con buen gusto (ubicado en el primer piso de la casa, hay un apartamento por piso). La Maison des Cochers es una casa del siglo XVIII, que combina estilos antiguos y nuevos para (lo que creemos que es) un resultado de buen gusto. Hemos prestado especial atención al confort de nuestros huéspedes al elegir elementos tan esenciales como las camas y los muebles.
Este apartamento dispone de un aparcamiento privado cubierto a 50 metros de la casa.
Ubicado en una zona tranquila de la calle principal peatonal (rue Nationale). A poca distancia de todo lo que hace de Amboise una excelente ciudad de vacaciones.
- Sitios históricos: la iglesia del siglo XIII St Denis, el castillo real de Amboise, hogar de François 1er y otros reyes de Francia, el Clos Lucé, la última residencia de Leonardo da Vinci y las calles históricas del centro histórico.
- Restaurantes gourmet, excelente mercado semanal al aire libre a orillas del Loira, con especialidades locales: quesos, vinos, carnes y productos locales.
- Panadería, quiosco, supermercado (abierto de 7 am a 10 pm) Mont-Sat, delicatessen, boutiques.

Durante los meses de verano, la ciudad es una colmena de actividad: mercados nocturnos al aire libre, artistas callejeros, exposiciones de artistas locales, piscina al aire libre en la cercana Ile d'or.

Un corto viaje lo llevará a: el castillo de Chenonceau, el castillo de Chambord ... (todos los castillos principales del valle del Loira).

The apartment is located close to everything you need in Amboise as a visitor. It is well equipped and we were very comfortable there. Pascale is a wonderful host and had everything well outlined in a binder including restaurant and shopping recommendations. We appreciated the special welcome treat from Pascale upon our arrival.We would stay here again and would highly recommend this accomodation.

We have rented through VRBO for many years now, and this apartment ranks among our all-time favorites. It was charmingly decorated and modern, comfortable and quiet, and well-located with easy access to shopping, markets, and the tourist attractions. There was a convenient dedicated parking place, which made dealing with a car very easy, despite being in a central location. The host is among the most generous and kind we have met through our VRBO history. Her warm welcome and attentiveness added enormously to our sense of comfort. This apartment and host will endure in our memories and will always bring warm thoughts of our time in the Loire.

The apartment is in a perfect location in the heart of Amboise. Apartment has a well equipped kitchen, modern twin sink bathroom and shower stall. Heated towel rack is a luxury touch. Comfortable bed and furniture. There is a washing machine for clothes. If you want to experience the town life, there is no better place. A parking space is available very close. The street is closed to vehicular traffic with exceptions for services. Our host communicated well and was very responsive. This property has my highest recommendation.

Our holiday to Amboise was wonderful! Pascale is a gracious host and even provided a ride to and from the train station as we did not rent a car. The apartment is beautiful and provides a glimpse of what village life was like many years ago. A wonderful rental and we highly recommend!

Lovely Apartment and Stay in Ambroise

My husband and I spent a week in La Maison des Cochers (1st floor apartment) in November. The apartment is lovely and had everything needed. The bedroom is in the back of the property- so cozy and quiet! The owner, Pascale was very helpful throughout our stay. The apartment’s excellent location is on a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants, close to the Chateau and the apartment’s parking spot. We recommend staying here.

La Maison des Cochers is lovely place to stay in the Loire Valley. The apartment is perfect for exploring nearby chateaux and vineyards. The description is accurate and we were extremely comfortable during our stay. The host is very friendly and was very willing to ensure that we enjoyed her apartment. This apartment comes with a garage, which is helpful to visit other towns in the valley. However, we didn't need to explore too far because Amboise is a quaint town with delightful shops and cafes and has a lot history since it is where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years. In addition, Amboise's open air markets are wonderful, filled with local products and farmers. The apartment's kitchen was perfect for us to cook with the fresh ingredients were purchased at the markets. We highly recommend staying at La Maison des Cochers if you are visiting the Loire Valley.

Love La Maison des Cochers and Amboise

Having stayed in this sweet apartment on a previous trip, we already knew how wonderful our trip would be. This time we stayed for 3 weeks to explore the Loire Valley and see the area châteaux decorated for Christmas. La Maison des Cochers is a perfect location for exploring the nearby towns and villages but is also fabulous to just stay in Amboise and take in all it has to offer. The owner, Pascale is delightful and so easy to work with. The apartment is very quiet and comfortable. It is centrally located in town between the restaurants and shops.

Wonderful apartment, great location

We loved our apartment on the Rue Nationale. It's spacious and comfortable and our host Pascale made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is close to shops and restaurants, the Chateau and the riverwalk. There's a large market by the river on Fridays and Sundays with stalls selling all kinds of fruit, vegetables, seafood, meat, bread and cheese. If you like bike riding you can rent a bike and ride on an excellent bike trail by the river (it's part of an 800 kilometer bike trail). We loved our stay in Amboise and we highly recommend this apartment.

Week in Amboise

Pascals was a most gracious host. She met us in a car park and directed us to our parking space across from our apartment. The apartment was just as advertised. Very spacious for 2 people and had everything you would need for your stay. The location can’t be beat. You are on a pedestrian street within easy walking distance to all restaurants and attractions. Even though you are on a Main Street in town, the apartment is very quiet. Pascale reached out to us daily to make sure we didn’t need anything. If you are traveling to the Loire valley, Amboise is a good hub for your trip and don’t hesitate to stay with Pascale. You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect in every way.

The location, the accommodation and particularly the host were all ideal. The host, Pascale, was amazing! She picked up up from the train, oriented us to the surrounding, demonstrated all aspects and facilities in the apartment, including the washer/dryer, which would have been tricky since we do not understand French. We particularly liked that the toilet, with a little sink, was in a separate area from the shower and two separated sinks, each with a vanity, mirror and large drawer. The apartment was tastefully decorated, with lovely linens and adorable artistic touches. The location was right in the center of a pedestrian district, so it was quiet and conveniently just a short walk from all the main sights and the Tourist office which was the meeting point for our private guided tours and the hot air ballon ride. It far exceeded our expectations and we could not have been more pleased with our stay.
