Superb Central Location! SPECIAL OFFER

Our chic, modern, and comfortable loft has the kitchen (with a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and cooking utensils) and living room downstairs and the bedroom (full size bed and dresser) and bathroom upstairs. The apartment is luminous, and it has a balcony. There are two TVs: a plasma TV in the bedroom and another TV in the living room.Super fast internet.

We are located in a renovated French style historic building in the heart of the City within walking distance to the most important landmarks in Buenos Aires: only a block to 'Cafe Tortoni,' (the oldest coffee shop in Argentina.) 2 blocks from pedestrian 'Florida Street,' two blocks to 'Casa Rosada' & few blocks to 'obelisk' and theaters in calle Corrientes.

This loft is centrally located in a premium neighborhood (we are only a block to Luxury 4.5 stars Intercontinental Hotel Buenos Aires) with access to several bus lines and BA subway system (1 block to Piedras metro station.) It is also walking distance to famous bohemian San Telmo district. There are numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

There are restaurants next to the building and across both streets (building is in a corner.) There is a grocery store, and a hardware store, across the street, a big supermarket 5 blocks away, two pharmacies 2 blocks away, plenty of cafes, within walking distance, and only blocks to shopping heaven: Florida Street.

Around the corner there is a laundromat. You can leave your clothes and pick them up later, washed and folded and all of this for only a few dollars per load!

Cable TV, 2 TVs (living area and bedroom), High speed Internet/WiFi, AC (heat/cold), refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen/oven, kitchen utensils, bed linens (sheets, blankets, bedspreads, towels), iron.

For your convenience, I have a local (Buenos Aires) telephone number and a USA number. I speak both, Spanish and English fluently.

Overall, the accommodation was good. Where the owner could improve, provide a useable frying pan, the stove needs upgrading and the bed mattress could be a little more softer. Owner also should ensure that all light fixtures contain working light bulbs. Other than that, its a cute place, great central location

Great spot in a great spot in a great spot

This was a very nice apartment (great spot) in a convenient location (great spot) to see the wonderful city of Buenos Aires (great spot). If you are travelling on your own or with your spouse, you should consider this rental. It is somewhat small, but has everything you need for one or two people. And the price is right! The owners were very helpful, friendly, and responsive and picked us up/dropped us off at the airport. While not a luxury accommodation, everything was clean and well maintained and had a certain charm to it.

Small comfortable apartment, well situated, for wallking the micro centro, palace de congresso(parliement), Casa Rosada, cabildo, and Historic museum of BA; very safe parking lot few feet of the door for 12 cnds per days. for those who want to smell the centro.

A great location. Every thing I wanted to see was less then 1h15 away, walking distance, but most thing were under 30 min walk. Great little cafes, restorants and bars close by. People are very friendly.

Why they chose this property

Reading the classifieds on an Argentinean newspaper and with NO intentions of purchasing property, I happened to read the description of this building (historic, French style, recently renovated, with a wrought iron antique but functioning elevator) and at a premium location, it peaked my curiosity. But, a year had to go by until I decided to acquire property in my native country, so I wanted to come and see this building but I couldn't remember the location. So starting at Plaza de Mayo, I began to canvas the immediate area (3 blocks around) and to my surprise I found it! Well, you know how the story ended!

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with the building, especially the wrought iron elevator, and the incredible location. Avenida de Mayo (a block away) Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada (few blocks away) are the HUB of everything that goes on in Buenos Aires: holiday as well as soccer game celebrations and also political and all kinds of demonstrations (Remember the balcony from where Evita talked to the people, or the "mothers of Plaza de Mayo?" a few blocks away.
You can safely "participate" from our balcony. You'll feel part of it, can take wonderful pictures, watch the fireworks, and participate without having to move from my place. (Take a look at the picture from our balcony during the last (2014) World Cup celebrations when Argentina became sub-champions)
