About Malgorzata Sowers
While the owner grew up in Europe, today Naples is her home. Her joy is the purchase and renovation of homes to her own exacting standards, ensuring that every element, from the floors, to the appliances, to the cabinetry, to the art, the beds, the china, and even the linens are all of the highest quality. Because, not only does she rent the homes, but lives in them herself for much of each year; eating, sleeping, and relaxing in exactly the same space as my guests, using the same china, silver, and bedding.
Malgorzata Sowers purchased this Estate in 2012
Why Malgorzata Sowers chose Coquina Sands
Just steps from the beautiful beaches, Old Naples luxury, and the pristine waters of the Gulf of Mexico is a very special, inviting, warm, open, and immaculate home. Not only is this a new home, but we spent over $500,000 completely updating it to the highest standards. From natural oak floors, to granite tops, custom cabinetry, high end appliances, and volume tray ceilings, you will feel spoiled by comfort as you relax in the lap of luxury.

Dryer in the House and few other issues..
There was an issue with the dryer in the house as some of the clothes were ripped after drying. We said it to the property owner when we were leaving that there was an issue with the dryer and she said she would look at it. She subsequently sent us a text, about an hour after we had left saying...
I was the last person who washed and dried here. There is not only damaged filter but also damaged dryer!
And this happen when You put the filter opposite side and then try to take it out with all power. It took people half a day to repaire it last time people did the same thing as You now.
We called her after she sent this text and told her we did not break it and if somebody else broke it previously, there is an issue. She said the repairs would come from our deposit and we absolutely dispute this.
During our stay, we had a few other issues, it rained quiet heavily one day and the roof leaked into one of the bedrooms and while nothing was damaged, it was constant dripping at night. We cleaned up the leak and put a bucket under the drip. The kids could not sleep in that room for one night so effectively, we had 4 rooms. The electricity was also gone for one day from 9am to 3pm so we could not cook, have showers or use the pool on that day. The owner said the issue was due to Florida Power and Light.
Overall, we did not make a big deal of the leak and the electricity but we were shocked at the reaction and tone of text on dryer, especially as we actually told her there was a problem with the dryer. We have rented many years with VRBO and never had an issue with a deposit and we refuse to accpet any charges for repairs to the dryer.
Hi Paula R.,
I would like to apologize for the negative experience that you had at my house. While I understand that you were not completely satisfied, I feel that my decision to hold the damage deposit pending repairs to the dryer was correct. This decision was not taken lightly, as I did disregard other damage that I noticed, specifically to the bed in the master suite. However, your attempt to use a negative review to change my decision to hold the damage deposit was definitely not appreciated.
In regards to your specific issues:
The filter housing for the dryer was broken during your stay. I washed all of the bedding at the house prior to your arrival and the dryer was in good working order.
This was the reason why, as we discussed, the damage deposit would be withheld until I received the invoice from the repair company.
The leak in the bedroom was very unfortunate. It came as a result of a powerful storm on your last evening and I had the leak repaired as soon as I was informed. Thankfully, as you confirmed, none of your belongings were damaged.
The partial power outage that you experienced was also unfortunate. However, it was not something under my control as it was caused by the failure of Florida Power and Light's equipment. Luckily, the power outage did not effect the entire house, as the air conditioning was still functional. Furthermore, the pool was always operational as the pool pump does not need to be on all the time in order for the pool to be enjoyed.
Finally, I would add that we were in constant contact throughout your visit and we even communicated on the final night of your stay where you confirmed that everything at the house was fine. Honestly, I am quite dismayed by the negative review as I believe that I made every attempt to ensure that you had the best possible time during your visit to Naples.
House was beautiful, clean and extremely well equipped! Close to beach and wonderful pool area! We throughly enjoyed staying here!
Great property, near beach and in awesome neighborhood
Very accommodating owner, she even had apple pie and fruit in our arrival !!
Sorry You couldn’t stay longer
Our family had a terrific stay at this beautiful house centrally located to Lowdermilk Beach, Old Naples, the Zoo, Publix and everything else Naples has to offer. We used 4 out of the 5 bedrooms and were thoroughly pleased with the layout and room sizes. Not too mention the house is stocked with absolutely EVERYTHING. If you have it at home then it is in this house. That made everything very easy at the house and also at the beach as we used several beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. I also have to commend the owner as she was as nice and accommodating as anyone we have ever rented from. I would highly recommend renting through her. All and all this was a great vacation in a lovely house with a terrific home owner.
Thank You very much, please come and visit us again
The home is wonderfully spacious for either children or adult guests.
This is our second time at this beautiful home and is always impeccably spotless upon arrival. The owner, Misia, is welcoming and kind. She is also very helpful if you need anything. The house has everything you could possibly want, from a fully stocked kitchen to beach chairs and toys. The house works so well with four bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms), plus an extra fifth bed. The pool area is wonderful for entertaining or just plain hanging around. It’s a fabulous location with just a few blocks to the beach. A great restaurant for breakfast or lunch is only two blocks away and it’s just minutes to shopping and restaurants. We are looking forward to coming back again!
Thank You very much to my wonderful Guests
The owner welcomed us fresh flowers, fresh fruit and an apple pie!! What a nice way to begin our vacation. The house is extremely well equipped with everything one would ever need—beach towels, chairs, coolers and even a rolling cart to tote it all to the beach! We didn’t have beach weather but still enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is amazing!! So comfortable!!
I am extremely sorry for the cooler weather and hope for the better one for Your next stay
