Welcome to Emerald Pines cottage! Outdoor adventure awaits when you book this inviting mountain retreat on a tranquil cul-de-sac, minutes from Bear Mountain Ski, Village Shops, and the Lake. This cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin includes a sprawling game room with pool table and has large wrap-around deck. Ski, visit the Alpine Zoo or tee off at Bear Mountain Golf Course. Just steps from the National Forest, this cottage offers privacy, access to trails, ideal for hiking and mountain biking.

Located in Big Bear's Upper Moonridge neighborhood and less than 1.5 miles from Bear Mountain, this tranquil cabin offers 1524 sq. ft. of living space with three bedrooms and a game room. Entire cabin has been recently refurnished. Two bedrooms with king size beds, one with two double beds. Game room has pool table, dartboard, smart TV and pullout sofa.

1,000 sq. ft. wraparound deck has comfortable patio seating, outdoor heater and gas grill.

Inside you will find a recently remodeled kitchen with refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, toaster over, dishwasher, dishware and cooking basics.

Cabin features WiFi, washer & dryer, central heating, laundry detergent, towels/linens, trash bags, paper towels and complimentary toiletries.

Big Bear Lake Annual Vacation Rental License No. VRR-2024-1599

The city of Big Bear Lake requires guests to sign the Big Bear Good Neighbor policy attesting to abide by the following:

Do not exceed the occupancy limit

Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay. The maximum number of adult occupants may be less than the total maximum occupancy. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

No parking in street or yard

Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is on the exterior sign.

No amplified music 24/7

Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.

Head inside at 10:00 p.m.

Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Take your furry friend with you
Take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly!

Take trash to dumpster locations
Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:

Fines
The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation.

Eviction
Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned.

The Game Room is our family favorite. Loved the wrap around deck too. Pet friendly and very comfortable for four adults and two children along with family pet. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds have plenty of blankets to keep you warm. Loved the extra towels too. Built a fire every night with the unlimited firewood.

The cabin was perfect for a family of 8. The cabin was pretty clean and joyful. The kids loved the game room just as much as the adults. Rob and Nancy are great host and respond very quick if you have any questions. This cabin was a great place just to relax and enjoy family time.

Wow, what a beautiful cabin this was! It had everything we needed and more! We just so happened booked this cabin not knowing it would be blizzard like conditions during our 3 night stay. The location of the cabin was perfect for getting to/from the local ski spots. While my son in law was on the slopes, I was sledding with my daughter and granddaughter in the perfect area just steps from the front door of the cabin. It was amazing! We also made snow angels on the large wraparound deck. Check out morning we had heard on the news that roads to/from Big Bear had been closed due to weather and a down power line. Rob also messaged us with this same information and allowed us to take our time in checking out. Communication with owner was great and we always received a quick response. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a great time staying here! My kids loved the back deck and game room. Rob and Nancy were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house is away from busy areas so it makes great for relaxing and gives a nice secluded feel. The beds were comfy, everything we needed was there for us and our dog. We will definitely be back!

Best cabin in the woods!

I can't emphasize enough what a great place to stay this is. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure this is home away from home. The location is up in the woods on a quiet block. It's spacious and a fantastic place for kids and families. We will for sure be back!

Clean and cozy cabin. Family loved the game room. Great location minutes to the slopes. We spent Christmas in the cabin and enjoyed being close to the slopes and the Village. The cabin provided everything you need when you’re home away from home. We would recommend your family to stay at the cabin. The property owners were very responsive to any questions we had.

Short But SWEET!

We loved everything about this cabin, and will definitely come back. We had to leave early because we did not prepare for the incoming storm, but Rob, the host was so gracious and understanding. Very communicative and was an excellent host. It truly is a great experience when feel so welcomed in someone elses home and they want you to truly enjoy it. There were 6 of us and it was perfect! We loved the game room and were so looking forward to playing everything in it. The house was comfortable, easy to entertain while cooking, I didn't feel isolated while everyone was having a great time. We will be back, but next time we will be more prepared for mother nature! Nancy and I are from San Diego. We both grew up in Southern California frequently visiting Big Bear Lake as kids. After we married we continued the tradition with our kids. Finally, we were able to purchase Emerald Pines Cottage as our getaway, and share it with others.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is located on a quite cul-de-sac new the edge of the National Forest. Its far enough away to be tranquil, but close enough to all Big Bear attractions to be convenient.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is on a large lot, at the peak of a hill surrounded by tall pines. Access is easy. Parking is off the street with a short 5-step concrete pathway to the property.

The game room with pool table is awesome.
