Welcome to the coziest, one-of-a-kind homes on Dauphin Island, able to sleep up to 4 adults. The Fox Den, with its unique design, is tucked amongst the trees of Dauphin Island. This little cabin is just minutes away from the white sand beaches & restaurants, making it an ideal coastal retreat.

🌴3-person hot tub, allowing you to relax & unwind in style.
🌴The kitchen is equipped with modern amenities, including pots and pans as well as a Keurig coffee maker. It's a great place for preparing meals & enjoying that quiet island vibe!
🌴The living room is cozy with accented beamed ceilings & a coastal vibe that enhances the island experience.
🌴Full bathroom downstairs with a shower and unique tile flooring.
🌴Upstairs half bath conveniently located off the bedroom & a balcony, which overlooks the front yard trees & perfect for bird watching.
🌴Back deck & a spacious backyard with a fire pit, perfect for outdoor gatherings & relaxation.
🌴Storage building is included, providing extra space for your belongings.
🌴Two mini-split heat/HVAC systems, which are Wi-Fi-controlled.
🌴 Pull-out sofa bed.
🌴You'll get a starter pack of paper goods, soaps, and trash bags, but go ahead and plan to bring more for extended stays.

A perfect cozy cabin…despite being surrounded on all sides of an island with water this felt like a forest get away! Yet access to beaches was just a tiny drive to enjoy the beach and sun. So peaceful and serene, the accommodations were perfect. Everything from the porch swing to the comfortable bed. Everything you need to cook a full meal for everyone and fresh coffee in the morning and a friendly little fox century that guards the home day and night (so sweet). All amenities are in tip top working order! Looking forward to next time I get to stay again! 🦊

A older home nicely renovated. Unfortunately, we stayed during a rare and extreme cold weather snap and the HVAC units could not heat the house faster than it lost heat. The mini-splits were set on 75 but the house temperature inside was in the low 60's Sunday morning. The electric fireplace really doesn't make enough BTU's to really help heat the space. A quick look showed that the walls/roof of this A-frame are not insulated and most any other day, it wouldn't matter but it did during these extremely low temps. The hot tub and cabin were clean and the bed comfy. Would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the heating issue. We would stay again in warmer weather but I wonder if the house would stay cool in summer weather?

The Fox Den was so cozy. We felt like we were in a cabin in the woods, but were so close to everything Dauphin Island had to offer. The host, Jennifer, was amazing. She made sure we knew about everything on Dauphin Island, groceries, activities, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Why they chose this property

The whole house, hot tub, firepit & yard are yours to enjoy! There is also a small dog pin if you would like to use it. The closest beach access is right around the corner, about a half mile away! The TV in the upstairs bedroom is not a smart tv but you are welcome to bring a streaming device to use. We have Comcast/X-Finity internet! NOTE: The property has steep interior stairs and is not suitable for children or adults with mobility issues.
