It includes a comfortable queen bed and a charming twin loft bed, ideal for couples, small families and friends. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, black-out curtains, and a fan, ensuring a restful sleep no matter the season.

We had a wonderful stay at the Avian. It was a perfect place for a getaway and we will definitely be coming back. Communication with Meagan was easy and quick. The cabin was exactly as described with multiple areas to enjoy the outdoors. The avian felt like a home away from home. We will highly recommend it to friends and family!

What a dreamy place to relax for a weekend

We can't say enough about what a charming, cozy cabin the the Avian is. You can see and feel how much care and love was put into the place. VERY well appointed with every amenity you will need. Frankly, we can't wait to go back. 5 stars.

This was such a wonderful get away for my spouse and I and it was so quiet and so relaxing. One of the best things about the place was how well appointed it was. The nicest and most updated features of any short term rental I’ve stayed in. All of the plates and utensils and even all the appliances were the highest quality. It really was a notch above the rest. It made us feel safe and special. And the hot tub was excellent too! Special note for folks with dogs: We brought our pup and brought 3 baby gates to block the openings on the main deck to keep her from exploring beyond f the porch - highly recommend it you are bringing a pet.

The Avian provided us with exactly what we needed! A relaxing stay at a beautiful cabin with entertainment from the Blue Jays and woodpeckers cats and squirrels, and even an eagle flying by. The cabin is warm and inviting, with wonderful attention to detail, great towels, comfortable bed, and a well appointed kitchen. Everything was clean and such a pleasure to walk in. Waking up and being able to see the trees from the tall windows was wonderful and having a fire at night in the living room made it so cozy.We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the porch In the mornings and especially by the fire pit in the evening with the lights. Enchanting was a word someone else used and I think it’s perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It is so rewarding to have the Avian become many families second home. We are always looking for added amenities and upgrades. We want your stay to be an excellent experience and are excited to hear your feedback!

Why they chose this property

The placement off of the main road with a long wooded path to the cabin makes it feel secluded with a Tree House vibe. The A-frame is not too far from all of our favorite spots and is the most absolute best place to unwind from the regular day to day. It’s the perfect place to unwind on the deck, in the hot tub, or next to the fireplace enjoying the view.

What makes this property unique

A-Frames with soaring windows and ceilings are always so special. We put a lot of thought into when we remodeled this old cabin. We wanted it to be comfortable with all of the conveniences of home. There’s a lot of cabins that are right next to another, The Avian is unique in its placement with all of the surrounding trees that give its secluded vibe.
