Perfect spot in beautiful Elora

We stayed in the lower level/basement of this house. Clean, comfy, and walking distance to shops and restaurants in Elora. The only thing I'd mention is that guests above us were kind of loud when they came home from a wedding, and we heard them into the wee hours.

Our weekend in Elora.....

Couples Paradise is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy quick walking access to restaurants, bars and local sites. Our only disappointment was that it was not two actual bedrooms. One of the beds were in the common area. I assumed when it said two bedrooms it meant 2 actual rooms. I will make sure to clarify this upon future bookings. The beds were very comfortable and our host was amazing. We had a small issue and Mark responded quickly and helped us resolve the problem. This was greatly appreciated....We enjoyed our stay!!!!

Hi Helena, we enjoyed hosting you! Thanks for communicating with us during the stay - much appreciated. Unlike hotel rooms Vrbo and other vacation rental platforms classify sleeping spaces as room. So when listings are set up they require you to identify sleeping spaces 1-by-1. So even a living room can be classified as a “room”. Wanted to note this. In our case we list the two beds (Queen and twin) as sleeping spaces.

Great little spot close to everything in Elora

Walking distance to Victoria Park, shops, restaurants, and LCBO. Comfy and clean! Only one little thing, and it's my fault for not saying anything, is that it was pretty cold inside in the evening...but it was also very hot and humid outside so we figured upstairs was trying to cool down! Mike was very quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended!

Attention ALL future Renters.......We were misled with this property. We would like to clarify a few things which bothered us and may be important for you to know.Firstly, this is a BASEMENT unit, which was not conveyed in the description being the lower level. It was a hot summer, and the tenants upstairs used the air conditioner, which made the lower level freezing. A small space heater was used to stay warm. The TV was not working properly....no instructions providedWe were lead to believe from the ad, it is a 2 bedroom....not. It was 1 bed in a room and 1 bed in the seating area. Being in the lower level, you could hear the people upstairs moving around in the evening and in the night. The kitchen was good, however, the fridge was not deep cleaned and the freezer, had frozen food in it, with a left over meal package from outside in it. When looking at the images of the rental, it appears, that you could go into the yard and enjoy a drink in the sun, but apparently that is not available to the tenants.Lastly going down into the lower level, the stairs had not been cleaned for sometime, as there were lots of small rocks and stones littering the steps. I am sorry to leave such a terrible painted picture of this place, but I felt future travelers need to know what they are getting into.

Our hosts were close by and met every request we had….shovel and coffee pot were at our doorstep immediately. The weather was beyond anyone’s control. We were close to the wedding event and everything else we needed was close by. We would definitely recommend this place.
