Nuestra hermosa 'Casa Estrella de mar' le espera para sus vacaciones en Cape Cod! Nuestra casa de 2 dormitorios ha relucientes pisos de madera, cocina actualizada, tranquila calle sin salida, patio trasero privado con deck y parrilla de gas, y una "sala de juegos" en el nivel inferior. A pocos pasos de distancia de la perca estanque y un gran parque infantil, o se puede caminar hasta el embarcadero local y gran bahía natación. Playas del Océano (1. 5 millas), el centro histórico de Falmouth (3 millas) y de la Martha Vineyard Ferries son sólo un corto trayecto en coche.

This was my second time staying at the Starfish Cottage and we loved every minute of it! Quiet neighborhood with a park and beautiful walking path along the bay nearby. Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and the ferry to the Vineyard. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again next year!

Perfect Cottage on the Cape

This cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 year old daughter and dogs. Close to beaches, playground and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great for couple of family

Well appointed cottage, clean with AC in each room which is great with the humidity. Pet friendly which is a plus and quiet street to walk dogs along. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay again!

Great getaway for our family!

Lisa and family were amazingly responsive to Our questions and requests and the house was wonderfully stocked and clean for our week’s stay. The pond at the end of the street was perfect for kayaking or SUP and we enjoyed neighborhood walks. I highly recommend!

Perfect Summer Getaway

My family and I loved our stay at Starfish Cottage! Located on a peaceful dead end street, we took advantage of the nearby walks along the bay and the local beaches. Close proximity to great restaurants with water views, a winery and brewery. The house was pristine with a great deck and backyard and it had everything we needed and more! Highly recommend and looking forward to hopefully coming back again next year!

Great getaway for our family!

Lisa was the best all throughout the process. She knew we were driving up from the Southeast and made sure everything was easy for us when we arrived! The house was super clean, plenty of space, totally turn-key, well stocked with kitchen items, perfect for a smaller family. We enjoyed every minute we had to enjoy your great home! I especially loved the wall of liquor labels at the bar in the basement- so cool!

Disappointing

The yard is not pleasant. Rickety fence that is half fallen down, weeds all around. Don’t be fooled by the photos. House had NOT been cleaned prior to our arrival. We spent the first half hour clearing cobwebs with bugs caught in them. Dirty dishes in dishwasher. An empty roll of toilet paper, an almost empty roll of paper towels in the kitchen, used sponge in sink, dirty utensils in the utensil holder. Empty ice cube trays. Really, nothing says “we don’t care” more than these first impressions. Coffee maker was old and dirty. We even bought vinegar to try to clean it but the coffee still tasted like burnt plastic. We ended up driving to Dunkin every morning to get coffee. So, either plan on doing that or bring your own coffee maker. Overall, the worst house we have ever rented in 30 years.

Dear Kathy, we were very disappointed by your inaccurate description of our property. We take great pride in the condition of our cottage, and we have had the same cleaning service for over 10 years with no guest complaints. We did have an issue with our landscaper that week who fell ill with Covid19, so there was a delay in finding someone else to cut the lawn for you. After years of glowing guest reviews of our cottage, you are the first person to have complaints like these. If you had let us know there were issues at the time of your stay, we would have promptly addressed them for you.

Great Stay!

We just returned from our stay at the Starfish Cottage. The home is adorable, clean and comfortable. It was the perfect size for 3-4 adults, or a family with two children. The area is very quiet. We did bring our dog and she loved walking down to the pond at the end of the street. There’s not much room there, especially if tide is in but it was a nice option. The beaches are close by, as is everything you need. The yard isn’t fully fenced but that just required more walks with the dog. The house is as advertised. Lisa will share what to bring. I will add that as of September 1, 2021, the town of Falmouth doesn’t sell small bottles of water (only gallons). A noble step in protecting the environment, but you need to prepare. I would definitely recommend staying in Lisa’s home. We will keep it on our list of places to return to, only staying away when our adult children are able to join our September getaway Thank you Lisa!.

Perfect Cottage

Starfish Cottage

Lovely home, perfect for a couple or small family. 2 mile walk to Falmouth beach, easy interaction with owner, great location for day trips and quick access to stores. Beautiful Cape Cod. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather and would absolutely stay here again!

Stay here if you're coming to Cape Cod!

This is an absolutely lovely cottage. It is true to the pictures you see. The neighborhood is quiet and the pond at the end of the street is lovely. We grilled often and found the home to have all the creature comforts. Bristol Beach is just down the road--not a bad jog if you're a runner. If you are not use to the shelly beaches of the area, visit Chapaquiot Beach. Soft sad, shallow waters, lovely. Tuesday's/Thursday's you can get a tour of Nobska lighthouse. We also ventured to Yarmouth to the Whydah Pirate Museum. It's far more archaeological than expected--so take that into account if you have young kids--you can't touch anything. It was still a great museum. Restaurant's tried on Main Street: Liam McGuire's, Anejo, and Divine. All GREAT! Divine for great pizza; Anejo for great margarita's. Lastly, never had we had such a responsive and gracious owner. She provided great details that really help drive our trip to be great. Looking forward to coming back one day.

Perfect Cape getaway!

My husband, 8 month old, and small dog stayed at this house for our vacation and had a wonderful time! The property was very well cared for, with a beautiful yard and deck in a great, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night and grilling out during the day. There is a great playground across the street at the elementary school with a big field for our dog to run in. We had a great vacation and this house was a perfect home away from home!

We are pleased to share our home with our special guests who want to enjoy the Falmouth area in a quiet and relaxing space of their own. Tastefully remodeled in 2016, our Starfish Cottage is an inviting 'home away from home' in the beautiful Teaticket section of Falmouth, Cape Cod.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Starfish Cottage is on a nice, quiet dead end street, just a few houses away from Perch Pond which is great for kayaking or canoeing. Guests can walk about a 1/2 mile to the Great Bay boat landing where you can swim or walk along the beautiful bay walk and watch the boats.
There is a great yard with a deck to relax and unwind, and grill and dine together. Historic downtown Falmouth is just a short drive away for great restaurants, shopping, and the town Green with it's weekly open air farmers market and outdoor movie nights.
Falmouth boasts many sandy ocean beaches, including Old Silver Beach, Menahaunt Beach, Bristol and Falmouth Heights beaches.
