This home truly has a million dollar view. The owner, Fan, was very accommodating. The home feels like you are on top of the world looking down on creation and excluded all to yourself. It is located right off the blue ridge parkway (blue grass music museum close, meadows of Dan, Sparta - close to Mount Airy - Galax and wytheville). Home offered everything you need to be comfortable and we can't wait to go back!

Everything was great with the accommodation and communication was excellent. Unfortunately the weather was not good but we did glimpse the view, million dollar view is absolutely correct.

Great Mountain Getaway

We had a very relaxing stay at this property which was perfect for us - an elderly couple. We had everything we needed and fantastic views. We stayed 4 days and cooked every night. The kitchen was very well stocked. The water pressure could have been better, but we managed. It was so quiet & peaceful that we hated to leave!

This property has an absolutely gorgeous view. The place was very clean, had everything you need to cook a meal the beds are comfortable. Nature abounds everywhere you look. Thank you for a wonderful visis2would definitely book again.

Million dollar view did indeed have a million dollar view. It was spectacular. Property:Good kitchen/dining and living room. Good space in the bedrooms. We chose to use the 2nd bedroom (queen) instead of the primary bedroom (king). My wife and I are not used to a bed as large as a king. The queen mattress was a little worn but comfortable. I felt like I was pulled toward the center of mattress. Bath (2nd) was very good. Shower was larger than the primary bedroom's shower. Being based on a renovated mobile home, the doors were narrow and the painted paneling and windows were upgraded from the original. We really enjoyed the partially covered / partially open deck. It would have been nice to access from the living room but the mobile home wasn't designed that way. Cards, puzzles, and/or board games would have been nice. A written instruction notebook would have been nice, i.e. trash, linen, etc. instructions. The TV's lack of local news availability was a little disappointing. I don't have streaming at my home and it was challenging to navigate. Written instructions would have been a big help. This was a product of it's semi-remote location. Overall, a good value with a spectacular view. The location was a little challenging and I can't say I'd recommend the rental in the winter if slick weather was forecasted.

The bed was a few minutes nches off the floor. Everything needs to be updated. We had several bites on us. Not sure what bug it was. We treated as bed bugs. The view is a million dollar view. If you are looking for deer and a beautiful view stay here

Overnight respite

Stayed for only 1 night on our way home from a work conference, so we didn't do anything around the area. Great place to just sit on the deck and take in the views. Perfect quick stop for a little relaxation before starting the work week. The house was clean and had the basics if you wanted to cook, etc.. Wifi worked well. Bed was comfortable. The only recommendation would be to have an iron/ironing board (unless there was one and I just couldn't find it).

Excellent visit!

The three of us (all age 66) had an excellent stay. We spent most of our time there on the deck enjoying the view -- even on cloudy/rainy days. Beds/bedrooms were comfortable. Everything was clean. The inside living area was also comfortable. My sister cooked a nice meal and found the kitchen served her needs just fine. One night we enjoyed the comfortable living room while watching a movie on the big TV. Not too far away (driving) are some nice walking trails. Pilot Mountain State park is an easy day trip and for those who enjoy hiking and great views it is a worthwhile endeavor. Shopping in quaint stores in Mount Airy is another easy day trip. Even better -- some stores very close by are excellent . We especially enjoyed the store named "Calamity Jane's." They had an excellent variety of clothing, outdoor gear, and gifts. The owner's were especially friendly, helpful, and engaging. Speaking of owners, the host of the property was also excellent. Everything went so well during our visit, there weren't really any needs to contact the host, but the little communication we did have was quick, helpful, and pleasant. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains!
