Stylish farmhouse for families near Lake Champlain

Welcome to our Charlotte home, renovated in 2023. It features light-filled interiors, including two living rooms with exposed beams, a spacious kitchen and dining area, large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a west-facing deck. Set on a 2-acre lot with a historic two-car barn, it's near Lake Champlain, parks, hiking trails, and local dining. A 20 min drive to Burlington and Middlebury and only 60 min to Stowe. It's ideal for families/groups of 4-6 seeking comfort and convenience in a scenic setting.

The space

We have been carefully renovating the space to create a modern Vermont feel. Each of our rooms furnished with one of a kind antique pieces, with brand new modern furnishings and warm wood accents. New bathrooms, shiplap, paint, wood beams, lighting and electric was all thoughtfully installed and updated throughout the home.

Kitchen/Dining: We love cooking in our open kitchen & dining room area for our family and friends. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of essentials and new appliances, hardware and countertops.

Living Rooms: We have 2 beautiful living rooms in our home. The larger of the two has beautiful vaulted ceilings and wood beams. The second living room is a cozy den located right off the kitchen/dining area. Both furnished with new seating and accented with antique pieces.

Bathrooms: Each bathroom was newly renovated with high end tile, marble, cabinetry and hardware.

Main Bedroom: New queen bed, dresser and 2 large closets as well as an en suite bathroom with shower. This room also has its own Split AC/Heat unit.

Guest Bedroom 1: Full size bed, new mattress, curtains and window shades, full size dresser and closet.

Guest Bedroom 2: Thoughtfully designed. Full size bed, new mattress, large desk and work area, with a comfortable desk chair as well as a reading nook.

Laundry: Equipped with new, full size GE washer and dryer.

Outdoor/Deck: Custom wood French patio doors off the larger living room lead to a gorgeous spacious wooden deck. We provide a dining table and chairs to comfortably enjoy the large grassy lawn and surrounding forest. Also a large fire pit with seating.

We're about a 25 min drive from Burlington Airport, 5 minutes from the Charlotte Town Beach, and a short drive to local Vermont attractions like downtown Burlington, Stowe, Middlebury and more.

Other things to note:

We do have a lawn keeper who comes weekly to mow the lawn, we will do our best to ensure that lawn maintenance is complete before a guests stay, but in the case that we cannot make that work, lawn maintenance is fairly quick.
