LOCATION OF OUR HOUSE:
Relax and enjoy both the bay and the ocean during your your Jersey Shore vacation in our 3-story NEW CONSTRUCTION, BAY FRONT home on Pelican Island.

Beaches:
With your own private bay access, you are also just minutes away from the ocean side beaches in Ortley Beach, Lavallette, Seaside Park, Island Beach State Park, and the Seaside Heights. in our house. 10 Seaside Park season passes are included. The Seaside Heights Boardwalk and Breakwater Beach water park are also less than a mile away for rides, games, and ice cream!

Dining:
All the dining options you could wish for are available in downtown Lavallette, Ortley Beach, Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, Bay Head, and Point Pleasant.

Shopping:
If you want to shop, downtown Lavallette has lots of adorable coastal shops and boutiques, the Seaside boardwalk has all thing Jersey Shore, and the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets are just 20 minutes away!

More fun:
For more fun, Six Flags Great Adventure is 30 miles away, Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk and aquarium are just 10 miles away, the Atlantic City Casinos are just about 1 hour away.

If you need to get away from the beach, NYC and Philadelphia are both less than 2 hours away.

ABOUT OUR HOUSE:
Our waterfront home was just built in Sept 2023 and features 5 bedrooms PLUS a 3rd floor sitting room with sofa bed, 4 full bathrooms, 3 decks plus 3 balconies.

Where you will sleep:
1. 1st floor Bedroom with Queen Bed (Sleeps 2), balcony/porch, and full bathroom
2. 2nd floor Master Bedroom with King bed (Sleeps 2), private deck with outdoor day bed (where you might fall asleep), and ensuite
3. 2nd floor Bedroom with Queen Bed (Sleeps 2) and full bathroom, shared with bunk bed room
3. 2nd floor Bedroom with TWO twin over full bunk beds (Sleeps EITHER 2 adults + 2kids OR 6 total kids. NO ADULTS on top bunks please), private balcony, and full bathroom shared with 2nd floor bedroom with queen bed
5. 3rd floor Junior Master Bedroom with Queen bed (Sleeps 2), balcony, and full bathroom
6. 3rd floor sitting room with Sofa Bed (Sleeps 2) and roof deck. Sitting room is also a game room with Ms PacMan Arcade table and Giant Connect Four

Kitchen details:
The fully equipped high end kitchen has stainless steel appliances, microwave drawer, and coffee and tea station with Keurig, drip coffee maker, kettle. The dining table extends to seat 10 and quartz peninsula seats 4.

RECREATIONAL AMENITIES UNIQUE TO OUR HOME:
Once you wake up and watch the beautiful sunrise, you can enjoy the the bay, which is approximately 2-5 feet the entire length of the Barnegat Bay, on one of the two paddleboards or 3 kayaks included for use (at your own risk with provided life jackets).
- 1 Body Glove Inflatable paddleboard
- 1 Isle hard paddleboard
- Two, 1 person kayaks
- 1 person youth kayak (for 130 lbs or less)

If water sports are not your preference you can spend the day enjoying the calm bay on the lounge chairs, adirondack chairs around the firepit, or on the floating inflatable chill island and then play Corn Hole, Ping Pong, Skeeball, Ms PacMan and more.

If the calm bay gets too boring, rent a boat or jetski, or ride the waves at the ocean side beaches, just minutes away, at Island Beach State Park (dog friendly), Seaside Park, Ortley Beach and Lavallette ocean side beaches to surf and try surfing. If you look carefully you will see dolphins, whales, and seals!

There are many houses to choose from on the Jersey shore but if you want to vacation in one with its own water access and amazing views of the water, the sunset, and the swans, book our house today!

Bed linens provided.
Towels are NOT provided. Bring your own and use our washer and dryer or rent from from linen service (thelaundryhelper.com).

ABSOLUTELY NO PROM Parties or any BIG PARTIES. That means no DJs, no giant speakers playing loud music til dawn, no disrespecting neighbors. Minimum age for primary renters is 28 and drivers licenses and lists with guest names and ages are required for proof.

Outdoor items: Return all outdoor items to racks and garage. Return Paddle boards and kayaks to racks. Return life jackets, corn hole, golf clubs, etc to garage.
Grill and firepit: When not in use, shut off gas and cover grill and fire pit. Be kind and clean up after yourself if you used the grill.
Beach items: Return 10 beach badges. Put beach chairs and umbrellas back in garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

My group of 12 (5 adults, 7 kids) just got back from the best vacation here! The house itself was perfection - it was stocked with everything you could need and was spacious enough for a big group to have their own space but all spend time together in the common areas. The yard and balconies were amazing. Hours of fun outside without leaving the house! And when we did leave the house, the boardwalk and beach were a 5-10 min drive. I could not recommend this house more!

Beautiful property at the Jersey Shore

This house is in a great location and is beautifully appointed with all the amenities you can ask for. Our kids loved swimming and waters sports out in the bay and the host does a great job providing kayaks, paddle boards, and life vests. Short 5 min drive to the Seaside Heights boardwalk and neighboring beaches of Ortley and Seaside park made for an excellent, convenient location. Thank you Marc, can’t wait to book my next stay!

Amazing Property!

Our group had an amazing time at this property!! Everything was accurately described in the listing and the owner, Marc, was very communicative and accessible for any questions. The house is so beautiful!! We loved being right on the water where it was shallow and calm. We took advantage of the paddle boards, kayaks and tubes that they have at the house. There's plenty of space to relax but also plenty to do with the game room, plus skee ball and ping pong. They thought of everything you might need or want in renting a space. We would love to stay here again and would recommend to everyone!

Great place for family groups

Our large group stayed for the new years long weekend. Marc was super responsive as a host and the house was clean and well supplied. It was a great location, close to the town, beach and the state park. We were lucky enough that the weather was warm enough for us to enjoy the outdoor decks facing the bay. The kitchen is nice and well stocked. The coffee and tea station was especially popular. I'm stealing that idea! All the bedrooms had great views and were comfortable. We had a great time, it was a lovely stay.

Amazing weekend, great house!

Just spent a lovely 4 day weekend with family at this beautiful Seaside Heights house. I've stayed at a lot of rentals and this one was way above average, in terms of amenities, condition of the house, and communication with our great host Marc. We took advantage of the kayaks, paddleboards, and ping pong, and the multiple terraces have a great view of the bay. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we could need. The beach is not walking distance but everything we needed was within 5-10 minutes' drive - beach, grocery store, mini golf, restaurants. Had a great stay!

Immaculate house right on the bay

Marc was a wonderful host. He was easy to work with and had top notch communication. The home was very clean and right on the bay. It had so many fun things to do. Ping pong, corn-hole, kayaks, ski ball. The house was up to date, huge and beautiful. It was less than a mile from the beach. Great location. Awesome time. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful time on Pelican Island!

Our whole family had such a great time. The location and house were perfect and we were all able to relax and reconnect. We had the whole range from the elderly to a nine-year-old child and they all had a great time and were not bored for one second. We were able to get to the beach and all of the boardwalk activities within just a few minutes… However, we were far enough away to be able to relax without all of the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk be at our doorstep. We will definitely consider this house again on our next visit to Seaside Heights. It was definitely a vacation to remember.

Fantastic House on the Water

We stayed here in July 2024 and everything about the house and owner was great! The house is in an excellent waterfront location with beatiful views from throughout the house and the multiple balconies. Plenty of space to spread out or gather in the kitchen/great room on the main floor. The house was well strocked with supplies and includes lots of amenities. The property was spotless and impeccably maintained. Check-in/check-out and communication with the owner was very easy. I would highly recommend this house if you're looking for a vacation rental for 6-12 people in the Seaside area.

Great location, an even better home!

This house was beautiful! 180 degree bay views from every rear deck, you can never get tired of the views. The owners did a great job decorating, furnishing, and explaining all the house has to offer. 2 minute car ride to beach and boardwalk, the location is great for families that want to be at the shore, without all the chaos of being down the shore. The house is very clean and fit all 13 of us easily. They have plenty of things to do at the home, kayaks, paddleboards, tanning rafts, ping pong, skeeball, firepit, BBQ, cornhole, and more. We had an awesome time! I highly recommend this property, the owners are great, and want to make sure you enjoy your stay.

It doesn't get any better than this!

This was our very first family vacation with all our adult kids, including 9 adults and 2 children, ages 6 and 1. The whole family was blown away by this house and property, as close as you could get to perfect in every way. There was plenty of space for all of us to have privacy, our own rooms and bathrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and endless things to do for entertainment. There are no surprises here, the description of the home is totally accurate, maybe even understated! The owner is a great communicator, and nothing is left to chance. We loved being on the water, fantastic views, convenient location with everything close - grocery store, drugstore, boardwalk, beach, restaurants... all within a mile or so. Enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboards, putting green, fire pit, outdoor dining area, gas grill, skeeball, ping pong and pacman game on the third floor. Plus there's a tiki boat place across the street, and Captain Bob took us on a fun 2-hour cruise around the bay - highly recommend! There were also plenty of spaces for just relaxing. We made some great memories here, and are very glad we found this place!

Amazing!

This is an amazing house! Starting on the ground floor, you can fit three cars in the garage and still have room to play ping pong and skee ball! Definitely take the kayaks and paddleboards out to see some wildlife on Harbor Island. Walk out the back slider to a beautiful back yard with plenty of seating and a propane firepit. You have a great view of the bay and can watch the ferris wheel light show at night! The rest of the house has the best room layout (3 floors) with all new furniture. Waking up and watching the sun rise on the balcony of the King Suite is breath taking! You can even see the sunset from the front porch! The owners are really nice and eager to accommodate. We will definitely be back next year!

Fantastic stay!

My big blended family of 13 can’t say enough about our vacation at this beautiful home! The home is brand new with all of the amenities to make for a comfortable and elevated stay. We loved being right on the bay, which is shallow enough to be safe for our grandchildren, but also provided recreation- stand up paddles and kayaks for the big kids to enjoy. We also loved all of the spaces the house has- a basement with games for the young adults to “escape to” and decks overlooking the bay for relaxing and listening to the birds. The house is so well stocked, too- the kitchen has plenty of plates, glasses and utensils for a large group and the refrigerators (there are two) and very deep and large to hold plenty of food and drink. The attention to detail is obvious and so many things are provided- soaps, shampoo, conditioner, TP, paper towels, detergents etc. It is a fabulous place for a large group to enjoy and oh yes, within minutes of the beautiful ocean and fun boardwalk!

We are Marc and Melinda and we both grew up in Monmouth County, went to college at the University of Michigan, grad school at Rutgers, currently live in Middlesex County, and love the Jersey Shore. We have two children who love the shore, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Melinda loves interior decorating and giving Marc honey do's to make their houses beautiful!

Why they chose this property

We love the Barnegat Peninsula because it is centrally located in NJ, right between NYC and Philly. We love every town on the peninsula from Point Pleasant, to Bay Head, Mantoloking, Lavallette, Ortley Beach, and Seaside Heights and Park. We also love being so close to Island Beach State Park for biking and hiking.

What makes this property unique

Our house is directly on the bay and includes all the paddle boards and kayaks you could want INCLUDED with the rental. Most shore houses (including our Ortley Beach ocean block house unfortunately) do not have water access and recreational water activities included. Our house also has the MOST AMAZING VIEWS and has 3 decks and 3 balconies to see the sunset/ sunrise and weekly Seaside Heights fireworks.
