* SPECIAL NOTES- 1) Booking weeks are from Saturday to Saturday. Guests check in after 3pm Saturday and check out before 10am the following Saturday. 2) Linens & towels are not provided- there are local companies that can provide these services for a fee if needed and can be searched for on the Internet. 6 bedrooms, 2 full baths,2 half baths beach house 1/2 block from ocean. Amenities include- off-street parking (two driveways for up to 8 cars), large yard with shed, large top-floor outdoor deck with new patio furniture (seating for 8 people), bottom-floor outdoor patio and yard(seating for12 people) two gas grills, stackable washer/dryer on each floor, free wifi, outdoor shower, full kitchen, 12 beach badges, sleeper sofas and close proximity to all the fun of the Jersey Shore!

This house checked all the boxes. Location to the beach was great, just a 5 min walk and you are there. House was equipped with all the kitchen necessities to cook and grill, nice yard and deck to dine and hangout. The house was very clean and host replied quickly to any question we had.Location was very convenient to many good places to eat and shop. The beach was wonderful, clean and family friendly! We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Great Stay at Ortley Beach

Our stay was great! House served us well and the short walk to the beach was a plus. We will be back! Marc the owner, was helpful with a quick response time. Nothing major, just small stuff!

Great house and location

My 3 grown children and spouses and 9 grandchildren rented the whole house. Enough room and enough privacy for everyone. Plenty of parking with driveways on both sides of house. Beach badges included was a big plus. Highly recommend this beach house.

Wonderful House for Big Family

This house was a pleasure to stay at. All of the instructions and logistics were very clear! The house was clean and exactly as described in the listing. This is a great location, super convenient to beach, boardwalk, food, etc. We rented both units together, which was a great solution for our large family group. We would definitely rent here again. Ding on accuracy of listing was confusion on the location. Although the address was correct at the bottom of the listing the map shows the rental being on the west side of Rt 37 which would have scared me off had I not read all the way to the bottom of the listing. Also I think the listing indicated 5 minute walk to the beach which made me think it was on the west side of the island. Actually even the elderly and the kids with the hurricane Erin head winds made it to the beach in 2 minutes from this rental .property.

We had an awesome time staying in this lovely appointed Ortley Beach home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The proximity to the beach was perfect. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier and the host was very responsive. Our family made some wonderful memories that we hope we can repeat every year. We would definitely recommend this home.

Read the fine print

Let’s start with the positives. It was clean and the bedding quilts were fine. The furniture was just fine too. It’s a nice airy feeling in both upstairs and downstairs and convenient to the beach and restaurants. The owner was available and communicative. We enjoyed the upper deck at night and they have a couple of beach chairs and toys. The beach passes were great. Kitchen supplies were fine. The fine print - No sheets/towels provided and I’ve never come across this and I rent often. Several of us looked at the listing and didn’t see it. We are from out of state and this scrambling put a damper on our trip. There is also no dishwashers which was an inconvenience and wish I would have noticed. Ants came out the second day in the lower rental in all the bedrooms and kitchen and table counters. We bought bait for all rooms and worked well to keep them at bay. There are very few spices and salt and pepper was only in the bottom unit. Both second floor bathrooms don’t lock. The master bathroom 2nd level door does not close completely as the floor is not level so privacy is impossible. Overall it has some positives but we spent much of our time troubleshooting problems.

Best location!

4 families (7adults, 7 children). We had an excellent week! Perfect location from the shore, entertainment, food and boardwalk. Marc was available for our questions and responded quickly. Accommodations suited our group beautifully. Great find for our family shore week!

We were so happy with our stay. The house was perfect for our 2-family beach vacation. Clean, modern, updated amenities. Lots of room for togetherness, yet easy to find a quiet place away from the family when needed. Lots of outdoor space. Close to the beach. And close to so many restaurant and fun options.
