Will be back!

This place was absolutely gorgeous!!! Definately as pictured. The beds were very comfortable, firm, but we like firm. We had stayed at a hotel in West Yellowstone prior to coming here for Glacier and I didn't get sleep for 3 days because those beds were terrible. We definately will be back when we come explore Glacier again!

History of Hungry Horse, Montana
Hungry Horse, Montana, has a rich history tied to the construction of the Hungry Horse Dam. The dam was authorized by Congress in 1944 and construction began in earnest in 1947. The town was named after two horses, Tex and Jerry, that escaped during a severe winter and were found almost starved in deep snow. The name Hungry Horse stuck, and the community has since grown around the dam, which is now a significant tourist attraction. The dam's construction provided hydroelectric power and flood control, and the town has since become a popular destination for visitors to Glacier
