Fantastic stay at a quiet retreat!
We had an amazing weekend at this beautiful property, that our 4 year old affectionately nicknamed "The Lincoln Log House". From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was beautifully decorated and is very well taken care of, the photos dont do it justice. And we have stayed at many rental properties over the years, and this house was the cleanest house we've ever stayed at. Usually even if a house looks clean when you walk around barefoot your feet get dirty...not this house! Every square inch of this house was spotless!!
We really loved the screened in porch to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sunrise over the pond, and the dock was a perfect spot to do some family bonding while fishing.
The location was ideal – quiet and peaceful and secluded, yet still not too far from restaurants and a grocery store. And we were less than an hour from home, so we had a perfect getaway without having to go too far.
The host was more than helpful trying to find somrthing we left behind and communicated very well throughout our stay.
Overall, this was the perfect place for our weekend getaway, and we definitely plan to return. Would highly recommend for anyone!!
