We had a wonderful stay! The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It was truly pet-friendly, and the small fenced-in area was perfect for a little outdoor time. The house was stocked with every appliance and amenity we could think of, making it feel like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again!

Pam was so wonderful and helpful to work with. This was one of the most well-stocked VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The house was beautiful and so close to everything. Beds were so comfortable. Decor was beautiful. Absolutely loved it!

This is an amazing VRBO peaceful quiet and relaxing place to stay you won’t be disappointed at all this was our second year at this beautiful VRBO and we plan staying again next year or maybe again this year! The host (Pamela) was and is amazing and will go out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as she can. Great place for a quick getaway. The space was exactly as advertised and, while unnecessary, Pamela made herself available for questions or needs. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property and host was warm and welcoming. Pamela was wonderful and stocked just about everything we could think we could possibly need and want! Fantastic place to stay and hope to come stay again sometime!!

Only thing that I would have the owner do extra is to advise of her property line for parking reasons. Otherwise, clean and a great beach atmosphere. Several amenities there so renters do not need to over pack. 5 stars

Very pet friendly and our dogs were very comfortable and enjoyed their stay. The place was very clean & the kitchen is completely equipped with everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend especially to the lover.

Pamela was the absolute best host I've ever had, hands down. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Super clean, so cute and full of amenities, we truly felt like we were part of her family. We cannot wait to come back!

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Pamela, the host, was very accommodating. We didn't have a truck to move the kayaks to a launch site, and she offered to move them for us. I would definitely rent her home again.

Oyster Shack by the Bay is a charming cottage. Exceptionally clean! And Pamela is a gracious host. Her love for her home is abundantly clear in the details she has thought of to make her guests comfortable and welcome. The cottage itself is charmingly decorated and I was continually marveling at her style & creativity. Delightful & enchanting. We were in town attending our church pilgrimage held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center. This was a good location for us to come and go easily to our meetings and activities. We were busy with our convention and did not cook in so I can't comment on much use of the kitchen except that Pamela has generously welcomed guests with snacks and bottled water. She has thought of everything! The view from the deck was lovely even though it's across the street and not directly on the bay. I was able to watch waterfowl from the deck. If you're trying to photograph birds, it's a bit distant though to capture good photos. There is a public pier located a short walk from the cottage just behind the city rec park. If you continue on around the park along Bay Street, Calico Creek Boardwalk is a nice stroll around Bay View Cemetery. I saw a good variety of birds along the trail and boardwalk. Also a fawn was very close at the edge of the cemetery. The cottage description notes it is in a transitional neighborhood. There are some nice homes mixed with more modest homes. It's mostly quiet, Fri & Sat nites were considerably noisier. There is ample parking.

My mom was a little chilly on the bottom level. Really enjoyed the home, well decorated, very generous provided all the extras. Check in/out times with flexibility, thank you.
