A spacious and inviting home with all of the wonderful amenities you would expect on a vacation at the beach. The owners have meticulously furnished this home to offer the most comfortable and relaxing vacation for you and your family. Enjoy the private swimming pool or take a short walk to one of North Carolina's beautiful family beaches. Prepare meals in the most up to date modern kitchen with all modern appliances, or dine out at one of the many local restaurants. Enjoy a movie in the theater room with theater seating, or simply relax and indulge in a cocktail or beverage of choice in the quaint sunroom. Lounge on the rear deck and take in the turtle pond and fountain, and array of birds. Also be on the lookout for the frequent visits by deer.
This beautiful home is delightful for a vacation stay, and the beach is a short walk or golf cart ride away. Vacationers will also find their own private beach access.

The house was beautiful and very accommodating. We loved how spacious the house is and how the beach was a 5 minutes away walk. The pool in the back was very nice and clean. The only disappointment we found was amenities advertised on the listing were not available or working when we checked in such as the projector would not stay on when we were watching movies due to the light filter at the end of life, the golf cart would not start, the fountain on the turtle pond didn’t run, the elevator wasn’t working, and the grill was missing a lot of its parts. Besides those things, we enjoyed the house.

The house works for our family from a bedroom and layout stand point. Upon arrival July 25, 2026, we only had 6 bath towels for 9 adults and 3 children. They did bring more bath towels and a propane tank for the grill that is falling apart. We knew to check the propane tank as we rented this house last year and had issues last year but not as bad as this year (July 2026). The owner was responsive some last year, but ghosted us in the latter part of our stay.This year, the property continued to advertise an elevator, golf cart, and a grill, but none of these amenities were in working order. The grill is problematic for our family as we have several with food allergies and celiac disease. In a nutshell, this is very much a misrepresentation of what you are getting. Beware of this host.

Family vacation

We had a fantastic week in Emerald Isle! The house is amazing! (Even better than the pictures!) beautiful and relaxing with every amenity in a wonderful neighborhood. We were a short walk to the beach and bonus to have golf cart! Our extended family rented other homes near us and was a perfect vacation!

Host is not communicative or concerned with issues at the property. The property is listed as for sale so maybe that’s why. We booked this for 2 weeks and at the time of booking, reviews were very good and he was a premier host. We booked this place because it advertised an elevator. The elevator was not working the entire time. And according to the previous guests, it didn’t work for them. Host was alerted of this, the projector in the theater room not working, and one of the garage doors not working the day we arrived. No response until 4 days later after more messages and only to say they had to order a part for the elevator and were waiting on it. Also, to “thank” us for the update on the projector. After the first week, the front door code stopped working and couldn’t get the host to send a new one. The upstairs AC unit also stopped working properly. The house is nice but isn’t being maintained properly. Oh, and we were told there’s a leak in the pool by the person that comes to clean it. Host is also aware of that. Would not recommend this place.

Beautiful

House and property was beautiful. Enjoyed the deer in the back yard. Elevator was perfect for my son in a wheelchair and to get luggage up and down. Would definitely come back.

Great first impression! Property is just as pictured and beautiful. There was more than enough room for everyone and with a lot of amenities to keep everyone busy at the house on slower days. We had a brief issue with gaining access but with one phone call the problem was fixed with a check in call later to make sure everything was ok. Close walk to the beach with a golf cart as a plus!

Overall it was ok. House was spacious and pool was clean. Golf cart doesn’t hold a charge so couldn’t use it the whole time. It’s also rusty. Movie room projector bulb was burned out so couldn’t use that either the entire trip. Air conditioning in one of the upstairs rooms was out and room was 80 degrees for two days before they brought a window unit. One of the upstairs showers has a leak and it dripped through the ceiling right above the dining room table. The same bathroom had a leaky sink under the cabinet that leaked out onto the floor. The burners in the grill are rusted out and deliver inconsistent heat so grilling was difficult. The door of the dishwasher practically fell off when we first opened it. They brought another dishwasher to replace it on day 3 of our stay. Aside from the dishwasher door, the rest of the kitchen was nice. Overall, didn’t seem like the host was super concerned with our issues. Communication was difficult and took numerous attempts to get a response. I think they’re trying to sell the house, so maybe aren’t really concerned. If the owner took better care of the house, it’s in a good location and would be really nice. We would not consider staying again.

Emerald Isle - Great home away from homr

House was lovely. Great space for our family. 10 of us total. Pros:Rooms were spacious. House was stocked with kitchen essentials. Pool was great. Saw deer every night and tons of turtles. Elevator and golf cart was a plus. Entertainment room with big screen tv was great. Cotton candy machine and fooseball table which we enjoyed. Beach is a short walk away as well. Very nice community.Cons: Not much. Definitely, could use more beach chairs and another umbrella.With the house this size, we had ten people and there was only three beach chairs and one umbrella. Entertainment room needed to be cleaned, as there was trash left in one of the seats. Need to replenish cotton candy ingredients as they were expired. Elevator was making loud banging noise on and off which I informed the owner. Definitely, could use more dinner forks as there was ten people and only five dinner forks. Upstairs, TV remotes did not have batteries.Overall was a very pleasant.

Beautiful home in a quiet gated community. Large bedrooms, huge fully furnished kitchen and plenty of space. The host was easy to contact and made sure our trip was great. There was even a golf cart we had access to and a private beach, so no fighting Emerald Isle beach traffic just to go enjoy the ocean! The perfect home for our annual girls trip! I would highly recommend this property!
