WELCOME TO CASA PLAYA, a truly extraordinary beachfront home located in the beautiful Las Conchas area of Puerto Peñasco. This stunning retreat offers authentic Mexican charm, breathtaking ocean views, and plenty of space for family gatherings or group vacations.

COURTYARD
Guests are welcomed through a charming Mexican-style courtyard featuring palm trees, a peaceful fountain, and an outdoor fireplace — the perfect space to begin your relaxing stay.

GREAT ROOM
The spacious living area offers spectacular ocean views, vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and comfortable fireside seating. Entertainment includes a large-screen satellite TV, 10-disc CD player, tape deck, stereo system, a computer with internet access, and WiFi for personal devices.

DINING AREA & KITCHEN
The dining room comfortably seats 10. The gourmet kitchen also offers ocean views and is fully equipped with a gas stove, side-by-side fridge/freezer, dishwasher, convection oven, prep sink, blender, coffee maker, toaster oven, and two microwaves. There’s also a breakfast alcove with a bay window.

BEDROOMS
The master bedroom features a king bed, ocean view, fireplace, boveda ceiling, and a private bath with jacuzzi and double sinks.
Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, ocean view, fireplace, and full bath with jacuzzi and double sinks.
Bedroom 3 offers a queen bed, fireplace, and private bath with jacuzzi and double sinks.
Bedroom 4 has a full bed, fireplace, and private bath.
Bedroom 5 is a full private casita on the ground floor — perfect for guests seeking extra privacy and comfort.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
The home includes a powder room, laundry room, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, a water purification system, a built-in outdoor charcoal BBQ, outdoor shower, a large patio, and a sundeck with firepit.

PET POLICY
This home is pet-friendly with prior approval. Pet fee is $75 per pet. Owner requests no smoking inside. Sheets, towels, and drinking water. Please bring your own firewood and firewood starters.

For over 20 years, we’ve enjoyed the peace and beauty of this place — the sunsets, the charm of the town, and the warmth of its people. Over time, we became deeply aware of the struggles many street dogs face due to illness, hunger, and neglect. We began rescuing abandoned dogs, taking them back to the U.S. for care and adoption. Eventually, we connected with Barb Mumbach, founder of Barb’s Dog Rescue. Though Barb has passed, her legacy lives on through the incredible work her rescue continues today. In support of her mission, 100% of Casa Playa's rental revenue is donated to Barb’s Dog Rescue. Your stay helps make a difference. To the world, Barb was a dog rescuer. To each of these dogs, she was their world.

We had the perfect family vacation! The property was everything we hoped it would be and more. The property was well maintained, convenient access to restaurants, shopping, local sites. Best place we have stayed at in awhile

Our annual trip to RP is always a little bit different with different family and friends. This year, we choose a nicer, bigger place to call home for the weekend. This place did not disappoint. Great location away from the rocks on the beach and a house large enough for everyone without being on top of everyone. We will look to see if this place is available for our next trip down.

My new favorite place!!

Pasta playa was outstanding. The pictures do not do it justice. I've stayed at many houses in los conchas and this is by far the best. There's plenty of space downstairs, it is not clear on the description, but there is a king size bed that pulls out and it was perfect for our mother. Highly recommended!! Any issues Oceano concierge ricardo took care of everything immediately and even arranged our activities

Had everything we needed in the kitchen except forks. Weird, I know. I gave four stars because there was no comfortable chairs on the patio. And the honeymoon sweet had bugs. Otherwise this place was very nice and the location was fantastic!

Great vacation home!

The whole process of booking this property from start to finish was amazing! We have had 3 previous family trips to Las Conchas and stayed in a large home right on the beach every time but this is by far the nicest house we have stayed in to date. There were only a few minor issues that took place during our stay but were resolved immediately. The property manager was very easy to work with and got back with you on any issue you might have in a reasonable time frame. I did have a problem with the listing online in that the pictures didn’t do this home any justice! I was shocked at how much better this house was in person! Amazing!! I would definitely rent this house again and would also highly recommend it to anyone!!!

It’s large enough for a group of 10 to be comfortable and everyone has their space, but lots of room to come together for games and such.. We love that every bedroom has their own private bathroom. The well appointed kitchen allows for several people in it all at once and the dining room table seated our group of 10 just right. The roof top deck made for spectacular full moon rising viewing! Unforgettable......Private massages on the covered patio are a must! We brought a large umbrella and stand which added to the shade on the patio for dolphin watching.My grandson had a blast boogie boarding in the surf and the breeze was perfect for our large octopus kite. This group loves snorkeling and the water was great! Dolphin watching was spectacular this trip.

We had a great experience at Casa Playa! This was our first time renting a house, we didn't know what to expect, we didn't know if we were going to have the necessities supplies in every room as with a hotel. We usually stay in resorts. House was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It is equip with kitchen necessities for cooking and cleaning. Actually, it was equip with all the necessities. At first we didn't know if the neighborhood was safe and we were concerned to leave the car outside since we couldn't use the garage however, we did see a security truck patrolling. It was really comforting to see that. The only suggestion is that the rooms facing the courtyard/front of the house need thicker curtains. You can see inside, no privacy and you cannot get a well rested sleep if you decide to wake up after sunrise. Other than this, our stay was amazing. We will definitely rent this house again. Thank you to the owner and to the property manager and staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, professional, helpful and understanding.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed our stay in this spacious, beautiful hose. Appreciate that the owners are also dog lovers and let us bring 2 dogs. Great having pvt bathrooms for every bedroom, especially now that the kids are in their 20s and need privacy. We especially lvoed the big deck and ample lounge chairs. Beds have been updated (we stayed here some years ago), and are now really comfy. Wish the house had a gas grill - we had to run out to get charcoal last min and it was a pain dealing with that all weekend. Otherwise the house was great and as usual, Oceano was wonderful to deal wtih. We had one small issue with a leaking sink and they came out w/in 30 mins on a Sunday and got it fixed. Note that house is located on a narrower strip of beach so tide comes up quite high. We didn't mind; for us it is a great trade off to not have a lot of rocks to deal with.

Our children's last trip to Puerto Penasco was when they were teenagers. They are in their forties now. The house was exquisite and the location was perfect. The only glitch was that the can openers in the kitchen didn't work. Also, the bedroom by the office had a broken drain cover. Minor concerns, but wanted you to know. We so enjoyed each moment of every single day. Many memories to cherish forever.

Wood was all rotted out and gaps on top and bottom let bugs in. Overall a great property for a lot of people. Would be nice to have the hot/warm water explained on how to set the shower. First day I took a cold shower🤦🏻‍♀️

The casita was a very nice addition for my wife and I as we have a baby, so she was able to sleep without being waken up by the rest of us making noise upstairs. The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean and the perfect size for our party. (6 adults and 5 Children) Some of the beds are small, so I would not plan on 10 adults. My only complaints are that the casita was very hot when we got there and it took 2 days to cool it down. Also, the cleaning crew was supposed to show up every 3rd day, and they did not show. I had to contact the rental company on the 4th day to have them come the 5th day. So we essentially did not get one of the cleanings that was included in our cost.Overall, this home is an amazing and we will likely stay again for our next family summer trip!
