The Yellow Submarine is great place to "live" for a few days! Relax at this updated vintage beach cottage. Great location - beach access a few blocks at the end of the street. Beautifully tiled bathroom. Cozy living room. Yard is treated for mosquitoes! Park your car when you arrive since the beach, shopping, restaurants, bars, boardwalk are so close! Come stay awhile, you will love it!

We had a great visit - the beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. The house is located in a great location, and walking distance from the beach, boardwalk and rides; along with some nice restaurants. Communication was a little spotty and we didn't get any communication or details re: check in until an hour before we had to leave (we're 4hrs away). Other than that blip, the house was great.

The house was great- we did not receive check in information, had to contact the owner and she contacted the host. We did not receive check out information either, did our best to leave the house in good order.The location is great, would definitely stay here again, making sure we had the check in and out info ahead of time.

The location was great, the owners were extremely responsive and accommodating, and the place was comfy. We loved that our dog was able to visit the beach with us! Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be booking this house again.

Thoughtful rental, great location

House is adorable, clean and cozy. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants in CB and the beach. Good stay for what we needed.

Yellow Submarine

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s an amazing location that’s within walking distance to many things. The host was very responsive and communicated well. It was so nice to have a stocked coffee bar and other essentials in case you forgot yours at home. We would definitely stay here again in the future when visiting Carolina Beach.

We loved the Yellow Submarine. It was the perfect size and had all the accomodations needed. We loved the short walking distance up to the restaurants and shopping. Everything was right there. She is a hidden gem

Great location if you have kids - super close to the beach and the park! The house was super cute, just wish the yard was fully fenced in. It is an older house and the plumbing did have issues during our stay, but the hosts had a plumber out to fix it almost immediately. Our only complaint was the excessive amount of mosquitos - we got eaten alive anytime we left the house. We would stay here again!

Wonderful family vacation at the Yellow Submarine

Our family of 5 had a great 4 night stay at the Yellow Submarine. We loved that we could walk to the beach and boardwalk in just a few minutes. Having 2 chairs and an umbrella set up for us everyday at the beach was incredible! We also loved that there was an outdoor shower at the house so we didn't have to track sand inside. The house itself was great and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved having 3 bedrooms for our family. The dining area was a bit tight for us, as one of the kids had to eat at the coffee table, but we didn't mind. Our only issue was that we wished the place could have been cleaner. When we arrived there was a lot of pet hair. We contacted the owner who sent the cleaner back the next day to sweep the floors again. We really appreciated the quick response, however we were still finding pet hair on the couch and some surfaces. In our opinion the whole house needed to be deep cleaned in general. But we would still stay here again in the future because of the space and location.
