Envision being so close to the beach that you need only gravity to get you there.
Unit is ideally perched so you can enjoy the full unobstructed views of the beach, ocean, sunsets and all the beautiful people strolling on the famous Hermosa Beach Strand while at the dinner table.

The unit is on the bottom floor so you don’t have to climb flights of stairs to go in and out of your unit. You have an intimate feeling of the atmosphere and pulse of the neighborhood right outside of your door. When the surf is up, you can feel vibrations when the waves crash down outside.

There are two public use volleyball courts directly in front of the unit where Olympic and professional volleyball players routinely train in the early mornings.

There are several restaurants, a bar and two convenience/liquor stores within a block radius of the unit.

The Hermosa Beach Pier is a relaxing ten minute walk for restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The Redondo Beach Pier/King Harbor is an easy ten minute walk in the other direction for more restaurants and nightlife.

Perfect location for our Calif vacation. Condo had everything as pictured. Enjoyed so much within walking distance. Would definitely stay again when we are back in the area. Loved the roof top sunsets.

We had a great visit at Jim’s condo. The location is wonderful about a 10-15 walk to the Hermosa Pier and the Redondo marina. The rooftop views at sunset were spectacular! Jim greeted us at check-in and kept in contact with us the day following to make sure we were happy with our accommodations, he was very attentive.

The location was perfect. You can walk to the pier and easy access to the town. Communication with the property manager was great. The cleanliness of the condo was our only complaint.

2025 vacation

Check was easy, parking was great even though our car was too big for garage. Street parking was plentiful and free using the supplied hangtag. You can’t beat this location! We spent two weeks here and would definitely return. Jim, our host was responsive and always helpful.

While we didn’t take advantage of all the amenities, it was really welcoming to have these little touches. The place is even better in person. The fireplace with the sound of the surf “serves ultimate vacation vibes” as the young’ns say. Many thanks to the host for true hospitality.

Excellent Location and Home

Was better than advertised. Very walkable area, but being LA, being able to park on site was an added bonus. Place and location were beautiful. Jim was very helpful and his property had everything we needed or wanted, even more than our own home. Only regret is I wish we had a longer vacation, as we didn’t want to leave. Going to miss the view of the beach, the ocean, the sunsets and the friendly people that we met. We highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous

Our stay was fabulous! Pictures are exactly what you get. The place was perfect my my 3 kids and I. The location is prime! Not real busy but super close to pier and restaurants. The view from the living room never got old. The owner was extremely helpful if we needed anything. The sunsets were amazing. We look forward to going again next summer!

Wonderful location with view of the surf

The owner was easy to communicate with and the place had all the essentials for an extended stay. The view of the ocean and beach were spectacular. I particularly liked the living room setup with the giant TV, gas fireplace and white water views from the living room and couch. From the patio outside you can sit on the strand and watch the people go by. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to many restaurants and an Italian deli market and coffee shop just around the corner. The parking was also convenient. I extended my stay. You won't want to leave.

Fabulous view with everything you need

Amazing view of the ocean/beach without any obstruction and right on the beach path. Easy walk to many restaurants/stores. The beautiful condo has everything…wonderfully stocked kitchen, multiple beds & bedding/blankets, nice bathrooms, cozy fireplace, plus a washer/dryer. Covered parking is included. The landlord is extremely responsive for any issue… even replaced the microwave, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Location Can't Be Beat

This property was perfect for having guests and being on your own. You can walk to everything you need including the Redondo, Manhattan Beach and of course the Hermosa Beach Piers. My host Jim couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and that truly made a difference. A month wasn't long enough!

Fabulous location!

We enjoyed our time in this perfectly located condo. We loved watching the volleyball players and crowds on the Strand each day through the living room windows, and the access to the beach cannot be beat! It was also great to be within walking distance of so many little cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend this place!

Right on the beach!

Tons of reviews already tell you this is a great rental. I agree. Jim is a very dedicated host who truly cares. The pictures are all accurate and living here for a month was like a dream come true. The only thing to understand, if you can afford a month here, is that it isn’t going to be like YOUR house at home. It’s not a large luxury home with every amenity. It’s a regular, decent 2 bedroom apt with slightly dated but acceptable furniture/decor (like a divorced dad from the 80’s- black leather couch, metal chairs and lots of mirrors ). BUT WHO CARES- it overlooks one of the most PERFECT BEAUTIFUL FUN AMAZING beaches on the planet (for a 30 day visit :) If you need this perfect a SPOT AND LUXURY, it will cost you more than double. Also HUGE THANKS TO JIM for letting us bring 2 well trained adorable mini-labradoodles. A tiny bit hard to find good, close bathrooms for them, but SOOOO worth it. And while walking a few blocks down the Strand to find a patch of grass 3-4 times a day wouldn’t work year round, it was doable and worth it for a month. My primary goal here is to give this place a VERY HIGH RATING! I’ve never spent even 1/3 this much for a 1 month Airbnb and still it was TOTALLY worth it. Even the neighbors in the building were very cool and lent me bicycles for the whole month. Despite the obvious gentrification, it retains an old Hermosa Beach vibe and the direct access to beach, Strand and thousands of people streaming by every day make it a special place.

Awesome spot!

My family and I loved staying at this beach condo. It had everything we needed and more, even surf and boogie boards! It comfortably accommodated our family of 5. My kids loved having the beach as their front yard. It was a very quiet spot even though there was lots of beach activity at times. Street parking was never really an issue (although it’s probably tougher during summer) and the parking pass did come in handy. The owner was very kind and accommodating, but gave us our privacy as well. Restaurants were a quick walk away and there’s a little corner store/deli literally around the corner. You seriously don’t need to leave the neighborhood if you don’t want to. It was a great experience and I really hope we get the opportunity to stay here again!

Absolutely perfect & delightful

The property was much more than as advertised, amazingly well provisioned for any beach or beachside activity. My family and I very much enjoyed every aspect of our time there. Location, Location, Location!!!

Our stay here was very enjoyable and relaxing. Jim was a great host and responded quickly to all my questions via phone and text. All supplies and amenities were included so all you really needed to do is show up! Appliances were new and up to date. Washer and dryer are also included. There is a tandem parking space underneath the unit plus a parking pass for free metered parking. I would highly recommend this unit for your next family vacation.

Great Beach house that comes with everything!

So I decided to rent this house for my family of 6 for Spring Break and it worked out great. It was my 4 kids and my wife and I along with 2 dogs and we all fit in this home comfortably. The home couldn't be in a better location and the photos doesn't do it justice until you are here. We read what the house came with but couldn't really believe it until we got there. This house basically came with everything a hotel would have and more. They had weeks worth of towels available, extra sheets, blankets, kids toys, water toys for the beach, beach chairs, beach balls, boogie boards, surf board and umbrellas. The kitchen came with all eating utensils and cookware along with all kinds of condiments available. And if you were missing something or needed something, there's a little market right next door literally about 25 steps away. Overall we had a great experience and our family had a great time. The kids were entertained by the beach and beach activities and were also entertained in the home as well from the movies, video games, and board games the home came with. We are definitely coming back here again!

Great location, all the amenities of home

You can't get any closer to the beach and not get sandy in this place. It sleeps 6, and has a nice layout for entertaining. The owner actually installed USB outlets int he kitchen, so super easy to charge all the electronics. It's about a 5 minute walk to Hermosa or Redondo pier, so really easy to find stuff to do without the hassle of parking.

Great experience!

Had a really nice stay at the house. It's right on the strand, and walking distance to either Redondo pier, or Hermosa pier. The house is comfortable stocked, wifi worked great (important for kids) and it had everything one could ask for. I look forward to a return visit!

Excellent stay on The Strand

Wonderful stay right on the Strand for the whole family and my two dogs. The description was accurate and all the amenities were as advertised. The property was clean and well maintained. Beautiful ocean view with the sand only a few steps from the front door. We had the beach practically all to ourselves. Excellent customer service.
