About this property

Open concept penthouse with stunning views

Located in downtown Puerto Morelos just a two minute walk from the beach, the main grocery store, plaza, and dozens of restaurants, everything is within reach while still allowing you to enjoy the feeling of seclusion. This loft is extremely spacious (2,150 sq. feet), with open views of Puerto Morelos, the ocean, and the jungle. You are able to see the ocean even while you shower!
Half of this space is outdoors to promote connection with nature, so do expect a unique experience!

The space
This loft embraces a unique design that promotes connection with nature. It is half outdoors so you can enjoy the ocean breeze while taking in stunning views from anywhere you stand; witnessing the sun rise from the ocean (front terrace) and set in the mangrove (back terrace). We believe in space as the ultimate luxury, and it was with this in mind that the unit was built. The concept behind this loft was to use lots of wood and earthy elements to enhance the natural beauty of the Caribbean.

We also provide guests with beach essentials to maximize their Puerto Morelos experience and not have to worry about renting gear.
These include: Kayaks, Boogie Boards, Masks, Beach Towels, Beach Chairs, and Beach Umbrella.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
To get to this rooftop loft you must climb three flights of stairs. There is no elevator. The front and back terrace are fenced with spaced out tree branches/trunks to maximize the view, so gaps may be a danger to small children or pets.

Everything you need is within walking distance. If you have a car there is free street parking.

The place was wonderful, the outdoor space was an added bonus during our 9 day stay! The views were great and sunrise every morning spectacular! The beaches , restaurants and live music in the town of Puerto Morales were divine. We did have an issue with the water pump burning out but the host Zainab was responsive and helped get it fixed as quickly as possible! I would highly recommend the property and hope to return someday!

Lovely place to stay in Puerto Morelos

My teenage son and I absolutely loved staying at this property. It was a perfect location for us in the cute fishing town of Puerto Morelos. We loved the views and the indoor/outdoor open concept. My son spent time swinging in the hammock and I woke up to the gorgeous Eastern sunrise each morning from the main bedroom. The location in town is ideal nearby the central square and dock. We could walk everywhere easily to eat at restaurants, grocery shop and visit the beach. Having a rental car allowed us to drive to the local cenotes to swim, however there are many guides offering tours from town as well for those without a vehicle. My son chose to go fishing and one of the local restaurants prepared his catch. Zainab is a very gracious, attentive and helpful host. She gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants and allowed us to extend our stay by one night so we could be there during the April solar eclipse rather than on the road. The energy, aesthetics and details are beautiful with many fine touches. We had everything we needed including yoga mats, beach towels, masks and snorkels. My only feedback might be that the place is better suited for children before or after the crawling/toddler years due to the open third floor balcony style, and for adults with good mobility simply due to its third floor location and no elevator. We personally had no issues walking upstairs, and loved the privacy of the upper floor looking out over the stunning ocean view.

Why they chose this property

It's the best place to be, having everything at your fingertips such as the main plaza, restaurants, shops, ocean. However, that feeling of seclusion is still there where you can see the sun rise up the ocean and sun set down the mangroove.

What makes this property unique

I've always believed in nature and space to be the ultimate luxuries. This property focuses on incorporating both with over 2,000sq feet at your disposal and blending natural elements such as hard-wood into the design. The large windows in both bedrooms and bathrooms allow you to be in constant contact with the outside world. You can see the sunrise and ocean from the master bedroom and while you shower. In the evening you can see the sunset from the second bedroom and bathroom. About half of the space is outdoors, meaning you can tan on lounge chairs without leaving the property. You can also have lunch at the outdoor dining table while enjoying the ocean breeze.
