This was an amazing location for going to a Cubs game at Wrigley! It is a 5 minute walk…if that. Parking on pad 1 is a bit tight if you have an SUV and probably could not fit anything much larger than a Subaru Forester. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Host kept the temperature at a great level considering how hot it was outside, which was a worry of mine. Check in and out is super easy. We had a great stay.

Perfect location if you're in town for anything at Wrigley. It's a great spot for two people who are looking for a place to sleep and use it as an epicenter for their Chicago experience. Great communication from The Host. Helped me with parking and always answered my messages. Nothing fancy but I will be back if I'm ever in the area. Price is Right and was exactly what I was looking for.

The location was great to go to Wrigley Field. The street that ran perpendicular to the house went straight to our favorite bar Kincade’s, which was across Wrigley Field! The apartment was very clean & well stocked with necessities. Parking was convenient & safe. There are 4 steps down without a railing to the unit, which might be hard for someone with walking issues.

Parking was not easy to get into for an expedition but it was secure. The property was very clean and cozy. The bed is very hard I would suggest to the property to put a softer mattress or some type of mattress cover. We loved the location. We will definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for affordability near Wrigley, it's great. It’s nice to walk home without trains or rides. We did, however, wish that the bed was more comfortable and less noisy when you rolled over. The bathroom functioned perfectly but the drywall seemed to be rotting between the toilet and tub. We eventually got the code to the laundry as it is located in the rear of basement and accessible through the other tenant door. I can’t hold this against them because it is an old basement and I should have studied the photos better, but please note that this rental is not made for tall people. I’m 6’5” and I had to hunch down whenever I walked from one room to another. Ideal if you’re under 6’. Overall a good place, it just needs a little more love.

Regarding the ceiling height, you're absolutely right—this is a vintage Chicago building, and while we include photos of the space, guests who are especially tall may find some of the doorways and basement areas lower than those found in newer construction. The door to this apartment is not functioning properly and gets jammed/stuck in the door frame. It needs to be repaired before it is rented again.On my first morning, I got trapped in the unit for several hours, repeatedly trying to open the door. I'm a 200lb former Marine and the door would not budge. At first I assumed the code for the lock wasn't functioning and didn't want to break anything. Eventually, close to noon and after repeated attempts, the door popped open. After working through the AI chat on Vrbo, I finally connected with the host online who told me: "You just push the door" which was fairly irritating. He did send over his handyman who tightened the lock plate, but said the rain may have made the wood swell. I then left the apartment thinking things had been fixed, only to find the door stuck closed again upon my return. Yes, I was literally standing outside in the rain trying to get the door opened. So, I contacted Vrbo again and the host. I asked the host on two occasions to call me which he never did. After a lot of effort, the door finally came unwedged from the swollen wood frame and I got in. The handyman did call me and gave me his number. I'm in town for my brother's funeral, so this has added a ton of stress to my visit and ruined most of my day.

We’re very sorry this added stress during an already difficult trip, and we extend our condolences to you and your family. When the issue was reported, we took it seriously and sent our contractor to the property promptly. By the time he arrived, the door had been opened, and he was able to repeatedly open and close it without difficulty. He made a minor adjustment to the strike plate and noted that the unusually wet/humid weather may have caused the wood door to temporarily swell and stick. Our contractor subsequently returned and again confirmed that the door and locking mechanism were functioning properly and that the door opened and closed normally. We take guest safety seriously and would never knowingly rent a unit with an unsafe or nonfunctioning entrance. We regret that the temporary sticking of the door caused frustration during your stay and appreciate the opportunity to clarify that the door was inspected and confirmed operational.

The property was clean and well maintained. It's a basement apartment so the ceilings are low in some areas, I'm tall but only hit my head once . I would definitely stay here again

Not a better location for a game at Wrigley! Less than 5 minutes and you can see the field at the end of the street. Felt safe. Very clean. Had a keurig and a drip coffee machine. The bed seems to be a platform bed and was as comfortable as other reviews mentioned and this is coming from someone who uses a firm bed. Couch was comfy though. Loved the tv and full kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Also, equidistant from both airports and many attractions. Host was very responsive in communications.
