Summary:
Our 1-bedroom apartment is fully furnished and perfect for anyone who just wants to settle in and feel at home. You’ll find a cozy bedroom, clean and simple bathroom, full kitchen, and a relaxed living room — all set up with comfort in mind.

The Space:
Our unit is on the second floor (stair access only), with a comfy living area that has a sofa and TV for movie nights or lazy mornings. Wi-Fi’s included and works great throughout the space.

The kitchen has the basics for home cooking—stove, oven, fridge, and a dining table if you’re staying in for a meal. The king-sized bed is soft and inviting, and the bathroom is private, tidy, and stocked with essentials.

No internet connection. Reaching out to “host” and it appeared to not be a real person. The back and forth communication did not resolve the issue. Other than that, clean, safe, and well kept.

Our host stayed very connected with us and made check in particularly easy with a short YouTube video! The apartment was very comfortable and was in a great location for us. The surrounding neighborhood was lovely and offered easy access to restaurants, on-street parking and Whole Foods/Target as well as access to routes that took us to our other destinations. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and well-maintained. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment was really cute and even though it was old, it was well maintained. Getting the key from the lockbox was a challenge but once we got that the rest was easy. The only bad part of the stay was the TV - the WiFi would not stay connected so it was impossible to watch TV. I called both numbers and could not get a response Also make sure you bring your own coffee - there are filters and there was enough coffee for one day. The bed was very comfortable. It’s a perfect stay for 1 person.

The host were nice and responsive but the internet for the tv went out every 5 minutes. There were no obvious instructions on how to turn on heat and it was freezing we got home late at night and didn’t want to bother them. Turns out 3 windows were open and it got down to 34 degrees. They were too down windows and the blinds covered them so we didn’t find it until we went hunting. It’s a beautiful apartment and I hope they get the issues fixed

I paid for parking at the Y, but was able to find street parking very close by. I had trouble opening the 2nd door into building. Be sure to mention that the same key for gate is for that door and to turn key to the left, leave key in while opening door, then remove key. Also, the directions talked about the lock box outside the door, this is old info. The biggest disappointment was not being able watch tv. According to maintenance guy, he was able to hook up Wi-Fi for me, but TV a is outdated and lacks an antenna. Either take TV out or replace with new, or you could get complaints. Let guests know you are very close to the L, it was nice to have ear plugs provided. I’m used to road noise, so for me, it’s not a big deal. For my needs it was a nice place to stay. The neighborhood was really great. Mostly single family older homes that are beautiful especially in fall. Close to lots of conveniences like restaurants, Target, and retail shopping. I was there to see family, so it was a perfect spot.

Perfect place for a 2 night stay in Chicago, very clean, great communication with host, only thing to know is the lock boxes for the keys are to the left of the gate, initially did not see them when checking-in in the middle of the night. Highly recommend

One of fhe cleanest short term rentals ive seen. Equipped perfectly without extra junk. All kitchen utensils, dishware, glasses, knives match and are of good quality. Bed is extremely comfortable. Wifi is excellent. A very enjoyable stay.

Overall a great stay for the price. The unit is a bit older of a building and apartment than the pictures may suggest. That being said, very clean and the host kindly had the AC running so the apartment was cool and comfortable when I arrived.

The property is nice but was a bit difficult find. The address listed was not the correct address and I had to call to get the correct address. The host answered right away which I did appreciate. Check in info was sent morning of, the property is not one of the homes on the street it’s an apartment that is behind the black gate and you cannot see the address. After dealing with the difficulty of the lock box it was smooth sailing. I believe there’s a total of 4 key/code entry points so be prepared for that and just so you’re aware they do want you take the trash out. Overall 4/5 for cleanliness and area but 2/5 for check in and 3/5 for community.

The apartment was as it’s listed. Clean, comfortable, in a good area. For us, it was close to my son’s condo (which is why we were in Chicago).Close to the Brown Line (train), which was great to take train to the Loop. We barely heard the noise inside the place.Communication with host was good. Instructions on how to access the place were very well spelled out. We had no issues. We would stay here again. Thanks!
