Great family home in Angel Fire

We are happy to offer our vacation home for your vacation - The home has spacious kitchen / dining/ living room with fire place. We have a comfortable leather couch and chair in living area with a large flat screen TV and beautiful mountain views.
Downstairs area with flat screen TV also and pool table.

Our home is easily accessible on road behind the grocery store with much flatter drive than many properties in AF. (However, if you don't have 4WD or AWD you can still have challenges after a big snow). We have a garage which is very convenient in the winter months! Feel free to email us if you have any questions about this.

In warm months.....there is a deck off the living room - wonderful on cool but sunny summer days! We also enjoy our large front porch in the summer.

Angel Fire is a great place for family ski vacation - for those more adventurous, Taos Ski Valley is also within an 1.5 hour drive from our home.

Summer activities include: Hiking ( Trails are walking distance from this house) Mountain Biking, Fishing, White Water Rafting in near by Taos, Golf - and 18 hole championship course.

Upstairs: Master has king bed, guest room #1 (Fish room) has queen, and guest room #2 (Golf room) each have queen beds. Kitchen and main living are upstairs.

Downstairs: Offers a large gathering area with TV and pool table. Also downstairs are two guest rooms plus a "bunk" room. Downstairs guest #3 (ski room) has a queen bed - this room has a closet and access to bath room but no window and the other guest #2 (bear room) has a new King bed but also no window. these rooms stay very warm. In addition there is another 'bunk' room designed for kids - it has 4 twins. The room does have access to central heat but with the window and thin insulation that room it can be chilly. We have heaters and heated mattress pads if needed.

We also have a great Mud Room' which is accessible and great for storing all your winter and summer gear Ski's, Bikes, Fishing gear etc...

Excellent Visit

Convenient location. Very nice house. Very well set-up for guests. We had 8 people in a place that could easily handle 12 - 16 folks. The owner and property manage were very easy to deal with. A great experience.

Annual Ski Trip

Our three families rent a big house and ski this week every year. This was our favorite house so far! Clean, close to the grocery store, and plenty of space for all of us. The pool table was a great thing to do during the evenings.

Excellent Extended Family Vacation Home

We used this house for a 4 generation family ski vacation to Angel Fire. The property was exactly as described in the listing. Communication with the owner was excellent, and the location was a very short drive to the slopes and very near the market as well. We were very pleased with this experience and would certainly use this property again in the future.

Great house!

The house was amazing. Kitchen had everything you would ever need! Including spices.Close to everything. Deer came up to visit in the evening for carrots and apples. Loved the toasty fireplace. Could not have asked for a more perfect stay.Check in and check out was really easy!We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!!

Family Ski Trip

We had a wonderful time on our family ski trip. The location and set up of the cabin was perfect. Hosts were very prompt in responding and checking to make sure everything was good. Having the game room downstairs made it perfect for the adult children to stay up and have fun. The owners of this home have literally thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. and have while and have fun

We had a great stay! The cabin is perfect ! We have a family of 10 and there was more than enough room! We loved the game room downstairs , it was so nice that the ā€œkidsā€ had their own space! They had everything you could need in the kitchen , the rooms and bathrooms etc . We had plenty of extra blankets and pillows . Tons of parking ! We utilized it all. We had 2 side by sides that we were able to park in the garage , 2 trucks , one pulling a 35ft trailer and then 2 suvs . All fit comfortably in the driveway ! The location is perfect ! We saw mule deer every morning , the cabin is located a short walk to the grocery store and restaurants but secluded enough that you feel like you are in the woods ! Tons of hiking trails - and ATV trails . We had a wonderful time! The hosts were amazing ! Communication from the day we booked till we checked out was easy ! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Great House and location

We had a great stay with our large group for our annual ski trip. The house has a great layout and plenty of room to spread out. 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on the main floor and 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on the lower floor as well as family rooms on both floors. Close to the resort is a plus as well. We would definitely consider this house again if we make another to Angel Fire. P.S. we do wish it had a hot tub though

Perfect home and location

12 of us stayed at this home and it was perfect. Plenty of room so that everyone had their space. Kitchen had everything you needed. Most rooms had a humidifier as well. Beds slept great. Location was convenient to slopes and stores. Plenty of games or movies and a pool table. Very nice having a washer/dryer available as well.

Comfortable and roomy but house needs attention.

We enjoyed our stay here with our kids and grand kids. The sleeping arrangement worked out well. Great location. However, we were not pleased as this house needs some TLC i.e. two of the shower hot water facets were very difficult to turn on and regulate, the rug in the living area is really dirty/needs replacement, the back deck awning does not work, windows were dirty, garage needs desperate cleaning, kitchen cookware and utensils needs improvement, master bath shower needs remake as mold is evident around bottom edges. We would not rent this house again unless above improvements were made.

Wonderful home and great location

This home is the perfect location for a ski trip. Minutes to the mountain. Roads are maintained very well. Two families stayed in this well stocked, spacious home. We all enjoyed the pool table downstairs. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and cooking supplies, including a crock pot. Both a Keurig and traditional coffee pot are available. Communication with the property manager is great. The small grocery store at the bottom of the hill has a pretty good selection considering its size. A trip to Costco before will save you some money though as there are not many choices in the town for dinners out-be prepared to cook. Thank you Angel Fire for a great time skiing!

Family Beat The Heat Get-Away

We just spent 6 days in this wonderful home. It was great. We had our son and his family join us which included his five children. The oldest kids stayed downstairs, which was perfect for them. The house was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare the meals. The weather cooperated wonderfully and was such a relief from the triple digits in Texas. The kids had a great time playing in the yard and chasing after prairie dogs and chipmonks. There were a few minor issues that popped up, but the owner Randy was quick to respond and handle everything. I really appreciate how all my inquiries were responded to immediately. We look forward to returning to this house with our children and grandchildren for years to come.

Perfect Place!

This was our 2nd time to stay here with friends and family. It's such a warm home and cozy home, but with a ton of space! It's super close to the Angel Fire slopes and Lowe's grocery store. Everything was perfect!

Our family has been enjoying Angel Fire for many years. Randy is a retired high school teacher and Lynn, formerly was CFO of HomeAway/VRBO is now working part time as a Public Co. Corporate Director as well as helping several private tech companies.

When we come to Angel Fire with family and friends we wanted a home that had a lot of room to spread out and was easily accessible and within walking distance to the grocery store and other shops.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

The view from the back deck is beautiful with Wheeler peak set off just to the north,and the layout of the home is great. We appreciate the large driveway and garage (by Angel Fire standards) and the location on Valle Grande is very convenient. We are close not only to the slopes but to the many hiking trails.
