POIPU-- Kauai-- Vacation Home Rental-- Ho'ona Road-- Baby Beach Bungalow 2 is steps away from a crescent-shaped white sand beach called Baby Beach and is located in a family-friendly neighborhood on Ho'ona Road.
We do not have A/c, all rooms have powerful ceiling fans and floor fans are available.
Across a quiet lane and nestled amidst lush tropical manicured landscaping you will find Baby Beach Bungalow 2. Enjoy beach/ocean views, beautiful sunsets, dolphins, turtles and breaching whales (seasonal) from the kitchen, living room, and covered lanai of our fully equipped beach bungalow. The front lawn is the perfect spot for sunbathing or a family gathering. We have 2 lounge chairs and 2 chairs on the grass. The front lanai is ideal for a family dinner or cocktails while enjoying the view and sound of the ocean. Full kitchen and new appliances make this a relaxing home for those looking for a quiet night at home. Our home is furnished with a king bed in the master bedroom and a set of twins in the guest bedroom. Twin beds can be converted to a king size bed on request) Each bedroom has a 40" flat screen TV and the living room is equipped with a 42' flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo. Each bathroom has a shower/tub combination and ceiling fan. We also supply shampoo, conditioner and soaps. The front lanai includes a grill. Our home also has an outdoor hot/cold shower in the rear with parking for 2 cars. Washer and dryer including soaps.

You WILL be visited DAILY by our Baby Beach cats. If they feel comfortable with you, they will be your constant companion on the front lanai. They are neutered, spayed, vaccinated and very loved by our Ohana and our guests. I’ll supply the food. You supply the love! The cats are never allowed into our home. If you don't like cats, then our home may not be a good fit for you. They have been our Ho'ona road cats for 8 years. Like it or not you are their family and they feel safe at our home. We have named them Koa, Mango, PoPo, Ipo and Palama., . Watch and let them entertain you.
They will make you feel right at home.

Best of Baby Beach

Another wonderful stay at Baby Beach Bungalow 2! We love this little gem and how close it is to the beach and Poipu. Evening sunsets and early-morning sunrises are magical and a few steps out the door. The Bungalow is well suited for a family with kids of any age, super clean, and contains all the amenities you could ask for. We could not recommend this place enough and cannot wait for our next visit!

We stayed here for the week for a wedding at The Beach House down the street. It could not have been better! Perfect accommodations and ideal location outside the front door is Beautiful Baby Beach.

Paradise!

One of the best properties we've ever stayed in. The bungalow had everything we needed and more! My family and I loved having breakfast, lunch and dinner on the lanai watching the ocean waves. Best time ever!

Baby Beach Bungalow 2 Perfection

We had a wonderful week at Baby Beach Bungalow 2 with my daughter and her partner and my grandchildren, ages 5 and 3. The beach was ideal for the grandkids and the cats were a big hit with our family. The kitchen was very well equipped and ideal for preparing meals for a young family. Wonderful stay for our family of four

Amazing location, steps to Baby Beach. Having older children it was great they could come and go as they please to the beach, and we didn’t have to pack up beach gear and drive to enjoy the beach. House was well stocked for most our needs. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would love to stay here again!

Baby Beach Bungalow

The Baby Beach Bungalow is a dream vacation rental. My family of four just finished two weeks there and it wasn’t enough. Perfect location, quaint, clean, and the most stocked rental we’ve ever stayed in. We’ll be back ASAP!

Hawaiian paradise

This property was absolutely amazing. It was clean and beautiful. They had all of the amenities you need including everything necessary for the beach. We only stayed two nights and wish it was longer! I highly recommend this beautiful beach bungalow!

Beautiful bungalow on the south shore

Baby Beach Bungalow is such a lovely place to stay! It has all of the things you could possibly need and more. The porch cats were an added bonus!! We fell in love with them and this wonderful place!

thoughtfully appointed--nicely situated!

Updated, nicely furnished, and many highly appreciated extras. Although across the street from baby beach, this property is directly in front of a public access walkway which affords it a nice view from the front yard and covered front porch. Would love to stay again!

A purrrfect vacation home!!

Baby beach bungalow was amazing! We absolutely loved our 4 night stay there and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s a really unique and wonderful property. Beautifully decorated, equipped with everything you need and more, fantastic location just steps from beautiful Baby Beach. Plus we loved the company of the baby beach kitties (Paloma, Ipo, and Kalea in particular). We have a lot of special memories from our stay there and can’t wait to go back!

Vacation in paradise

Staying at Baby Beach Bungalow II was pure joy! From the moment we arrived we knew this was a place that we will come back to again. The home was very well outfitted, the neighbors were welcoming and the BBB II cats overjoyed us. Our family had the most amazing time. The owner, Pam, is so warm, welcoming and made sure we felt cared for and appreciated.

Such an amazing place!!

We absolutely loved this rental! The location was perfect and right near the ocean. The kids loved to watch for whales and turtles and playing with the cats around the house. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more and is very well decorated to give a warm feeling as soon as you enter. A perfect beach house! Would definitely stay here again next time in Kauai!

Outstanding Stay

This property exceeded all of our expectations by leaps and bounds. Can’t say that anything in any respect was lacking. I would give it 10 stars! Also, the kitties added a little bit of furry joy. Hope to return again.

We came and relaxed

It was great. We spent much time at the beach and on the lanai and the yard. The kitchen was very well equipped, and everything worked. The instructions answered all our questions. The kitties were a fantastic bonus!

Truly a "slice of Paradise"!

My friends and I just returned from a week of loving life in Paradise. It truly felt like home. Just pack your clothes, everything else is there waiting for you, including a Keurig with coffee! The bungalow is so tastefully appointed and even more adorable in person. Just steps from the ocean and also walking distance to terrific restaurants and shopping. I would never stay anywhere else and highly recommend it! Thank you for an amazing week!!

Paradise!

We had an amazing stay at Baby Beach Bungalow II! Everything was exactly as pictured, even the friendly cats. We arrived late and still had no trouble finding the home and getting in. We ran down to the beach for the sunrise the next morning, it was so special. Our kids (6 and 8) loved the proximity to the beach and we saw turtles on a couple days. The home is very well stocked, we appreciated the little extras, like night lights!

Love Everything About Baby Beach Bungalow 2

Our family loved our time at Baby Beach Bungalow 2! The location on a quaint street with beach access was perfect (just across the road) and we loved hearing and seeing the ocean waves. House setup was great with a nice, light and open kitchen/living area in the front and 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom - great for our family of four! The Baby Beach kitties were so much fun, we loved feeding all 7 of them as they would come around, and got to know a few of them pretty well. House was very clean and property was adorable and well taken care of…we’re just sad we couldn’t stay longer! In fact, when we got home our kids recreated “Kauai” in their playroom and set up Baby Beach Bungalow 2!

BBB2 with bonus cats

We loved the stay at BBB2! Steps away from the ocean with a great location to food, shops and the beach! The home was well stocked and we loved having access to beach chairs, snorkel equipment and beach umbrellas. The outdoor shower was awesome so we could rinse off after being in the sand. Pamela cares about her guests and makes sure you have everything you need to be comfortable in her home. The kitty love was an added bonus. Front porch time with the cats was highly enjoyed by all. We had a great time, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to others!

Slice of Paradise

Fantastic property that meets all the criteria you could want in a Kauai vacation rental. Amazing location just steps from the beach, a short walk to shops/restaurants, and a great jumping off point for exploring the south side of the island. The house was well furnished, clean, and exceptionally well stocked with both kitchen needs and beach activity supplies: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, towels, etc. The beach was popular with many people parking in the street in front of the house, but they were never a bother and the community is otherwise quiet and peaceful. This trip was just for me and my spouse, but it would be a great place to bring a family as well. We would love to return again someday!

Little Slice of Heaven

This cottage-stay was wonderful. It was clean and comfortable. The house is older, but the kitchen was up-to-date and fully stocked. The furniture is comfortable. There are plenty of pillows to arrange to your needs. My only wish would to have had a low-threshold shower, but only because we’re “older.” We walked across the street every morning to “baby beach II” for a swim and to just soak up the pure beauty of this paradise. We’ve been coming to the islands for 25+ years. Good for a couple or a small group. Enjoy!

Our daughter is living her dream in NYC, and our son attends Chapman University here in Southern California with dreams of working for Hawaiian Airlines. That's my boy! We have enjoyed annual trips to Kauai for the last 36 years. When we discovered Baby Beach Bungalow 2 for sale in 2011, we decided to make our dream come true and purchase this amazing home in an awesome location. As a collector of Vintage Hawaiiana, and the passion for growing plumeria trees, you would know, I live and breathe the Aloha Spirit. I go to our home every 3-4 months to update and make sure everything is perfect for my guest. If you're happy, I'm happy.. simple as that!!

I take great pride in supplying you with everything you should need or want. We chose Poipu, because of the weather. It is always sunny and warm, with a rain shower thrown in to cool us off. You are steps away from the access to Baby Beach where you will find a beautiful beach with knee deep water and perfect for children. The neighborhood is very friendly, and a great spot to meet new friends. There are several tasty restaurants within walking distance and the best snorkeling spot at PK's next to the Beach House restaurant is a short 5 minute walk. I am constantly upgrading our home and adding things to make your stay the best I can. Come enjoy our 'little slice of paradise'.

If you like to hear and see the ocean, you will enjoy Baby Beach Bungalow 2. You can enjoy them as you cook dinner in the kitchen, or BBQ on the lanai. You can also enjoy the whales from the front lanai between December - March. It's such an incredible thing to watch.
We love to take our beach chairs to the sand at night and watch the stars. Baby Beach Bungalow 2 is a relaxing, beautiful place which is a perfect base to explore the beauty and sites of Kauai. It has so many amenities and a great atmosphere.

-- Lawai Beach, One of the best snorkeling beaches on Kauai, is a 5 min walk from the house

-- Kukui'ula Shopping Center: it includes an organic/health food grocery store, Living Foods, Bubba's Burgers and fine dining at Merriman's Fish House, Josselins Tapas and Bar, Tortilla Republic (mexican cuisine) Restaurants. Tommy Bahamas, art galleries, and more. Kukui'ula Shops and Restaurants is a 5 minute walk from our home.

-- Golf is nearby at the Hyatt Regency and Kiahuna Golf Courses, 5 min drive from the house.

-- Keoki's Paradise Restaurant, has good food and a great tropical feel. One of our favorites, and it is a 5 minute drive from our house. Brenneckes Beach Broiler is located at Poipu State Beach and is a 5 minute drive away from our home.
