Commodore is located on the east end of Panama City Beach and features 13 floors of gulf front luxury. This resort offers direct beach access, an impressive Gulf side pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, and many other exciting amenities for guests to enjoy. The grounds themselves are beautiful and include a large picnic area with charcoal grills, and horse shoe pits. The resort's location is especially convenient to area attractions such as St. Andrews State Park, Signal Hill Golf Course, and Mini Golf! Commodore has everything you need to make the most out of your vacation on the sugary white sands of Panama City Beach.

*There is a $40 (Plus Tax) Resort Registration Fee added to each reservation. This fee is mandated by the resort and includes parking for up to 2 vehicles.

The beach view sucks the trees block so much of the ocean view. The place needs a lot of updates and touch ups. The pool was very crowded for the size of the condominium needs a bigger pool for everyone . Sofa bed has a bar across that stabs your back the whole time . Be ready to wait a while for the elevators only two for the whole place and stairs are only on the far sides of the building.

The condo was was very nice just as shown in the pictures. The balcony views of the ocean were very nice. The pool area was great but when it got busy in February the chairs filled up quick.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and the check-in/checkout process was a breeze! Kitchen was well-stocked. Balcony furniture was extremely nice and there were even a few cushions on the balcony chairs which was a huge plus for my bad back! The only thing that holds me back from leaving 5 stars is the quality of mattresses in guest room. My 20 year old slept in the guest bedroom and said that he wasn’t sleeping well because he could feel the springs in the mattress. He has a slim build and never complains about anything, so I thought it was noteworthy. Overall, I highly recommend this property and was very pleased with our stay!

The view from the balcony is beautiful. The pool and beach were wonderful. BUT the condo itself leaves a lot to be desired. It is spacious and roomy but definitely needs updates and a thorough cleaning. Get rid of the dirty area rugs, change the A/C filter (hasn’t been changed since 11/2025), and make sure there is no food residue on dishes. Toilet paper and kitchen/utility room supplies were inadequate for 3 adults. Stripping linens should not be the responsibility of guests upon departure given the cleaning staff doesn’t seem to be providing much service.

When booking… the price did not include the VRBO fee…???? When we checked in only one of the 3 TVs worked…. This was taken care of 4 hours later when service people showed….

Lovely beach!

Waking up to the great view was terrific. We were kindred spirits with other folks staying at Commodore.. lovely quiet end of Thomas Drive. Great guys at the security gate!

We stay at The Commodore at least a couple of times every year; it is our absolute favorite location and feels like home. This was our first time in this unit. The decor was beautiful, kitchen was well stocked, and it felt very cozy. The only thing that was not to our liking was the bed(s); all were very firm and uncomfortable for us. We ended up going to Walmart to buy a mattress topper so we could sleep better. If you like a firm bed, it might be fine for you. Everything else was perfect.

The perfect vacation!

We literally just got back today. And we are ready to go again! The location is perfect! The security guards were some of the nicest folks. My only complaint and it has nothing to do with the room…the rental chairs take up the entire front of the property! But other than that it was perfect!

Property was great. View was amazing. Unit very clean.every thing you need to prepare meals in kitchen. Although the palm trees were beautiful but does hinder the view slightly Elevator wait times were great being on the 3rd floor. Easy open parking lot. Beds very uncomfortable extra cover in closets came in handy. Sleeps up to 8 but can only seat comfortably 4 in living room and bacolony. Bacolony very spacious. easy access to the beach. Both security guards Bill and Dean very helpfull. Lots of carts for loading and unloading. The pup next to condo had music that could be enjoyed from the front lawn of condo but did not interfere with guest and went on quite time about 10 to 11 pm would most definitely stay here again

Needs some TLC

The condo overall is nice. The living room is decorated nicely, and the floors are nice. The kitchen and both bathrooms could use some updating. We had a slight issue upon check-in, the condo had only partially been cleaned. Still had dishes in the dishwasher and the kitchen counters were dirty. The guest bath was not cleaned and the trashcan was in the shower. The guest beds were covered in sand, and there was a trash bag filled with towels on one of the beds. Once I contacted the property manager they eventually (a couple of hours later) sent someone to finish the job. Aside from that, the beds are terribly uncomfortable.The mattresses have no cushion what so ever. The dresser in the master bedroom has drawers that are broken and collapsing and the drawer handles fall off as soon as you touch them. All in all, the condo and the furnishings could use some TLC and upgrades. The balcony was awesome. Really nice table and chairs out there. Unfortunately, it rained and stormed everyday we were there, but that can't be avoided sometimes.

The room was not ready for check in at 4:00 PM.Trash was left in the floor nor was the dishes clean in the facility.The cleaning lady was in no hurry and did not finish until 5:00 PM. She kept getting on her phone and was in no sense of urgency to get it done.After we got checked in we had an issue with small bites in the room.We sprayed and it was better after. Did have maintenance come check it out.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not much going on at this complex. Room, pool beach is pretty much it. The room was clean and in good repair. The pool was disappointing, 2/3's of the pool was 8ft deep but allowed no diving making it pretty useless. The part of the pool you could stand up in and use was pretty much the equivalent in size and depth to about an 18 foot aboveground pool.Complex is only 90 units so parking was always close and never had to wait on an elevator or hunt a luggage cart.For what it is it is good it is just not much.
