This attractive four bedroom home is located close to the beach in Ogunquit's Foot Bridge neighborhood. It is a family friendly house just a few minutes walk to the ocean beach.

The house has something for everyone, including Wi-Fi, a living room with cable TV, a dining area, a kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, an enclosed patio with a gas grill, and laundry facilities. The house sleeps 7 or 8 guests comfortably in four bedrooms and a pullout sofa bed and there’s room for your crib. There are several areas to congregate or to have a little private time. Cleaning and linens are included.

After a day at the beach, you may treat yourself to one of the many nearby restaurants or relax and cook dinner on the grill in the enclosed patio.

Conveniently located just north of downtown, you can catch the trolley or walk the beach into town. The house is a short drive to Kennebunkport, York Beach and outlet shopping in Kittery. There is nothing like being just a short walk to the river, ocean beach, trolley and all the activities Ogunquit has to offer.

Best Ogunquit rental experience ever

Can't say enough about how great the property was, how nice and helpful the owners were, how close we were to the beach - all of it A to Z amazing. The space is beautiful and well kept and clean - loved the layout and the energy of the place. And can walk to everything. Perfect for us. Wonderful for a family vacation!

More room than I thought

This house had so much room and is so convenient to footbridge beach. No need to worry about parking! Will be looking to come back next summer!

Great home away from home

Great home away from home: Highly recommended. We stayed here for a family trip in July 2016; there were seven of us in all but it never felt crowded. Very clean Comfortable beds Kitchen is well-equipped Appliances, grill, wi-fi and air conditioners work well Lots of space to spread out: 2 common rooms and the patio in addition to the four bedrooms Two bedrooms (twin, full) are on one side of the house and the other two (bunk beds, queen) are on the other side. Easy walk to a very nice beach and even shorter walk to the restaurant on the corner

Beautiful Maine

Location was great. Place was very spacious. The second bathroom was located in a hallway which was awkward and I wish that was described better on line. Also parking was limited would of liked to have known that ahead of renting. Overall good house plenty of room great location.

60th Birthday Family Vacation

This year marked my husband's 60th birthday and I wanted to do something special. The Maine oceans have always held a special place in our combined families time together so I decided to rent a house so we could be together to celebrate. This house provided us with everything we needed for a memorable vacation!!! I liked the fact that there were two distinct living spaces so even with a big crowd you didn't feel crowded. The kitchen was spacious and the "island" was very useful for food prep. The locations of the bedrooms worked well for us allowing for a family to take advantage of one side of the house to include a bathroom while us "older" folks had quiet on the opposite end of the house. Further the enclosed patio with grill provided privacy and another gathering place for evening meals. Finally, the beach being within a short walk couldn't have been better. We could walk down in the morning and get our space, go back to the house for breakfast, make lunches and spend the remainder of the day soaking up the sun and surf. Evan was very responsive to all of my emails and I appreciated the fact that his cousin was only a phone call away if we needed anything. This house has it all and would definitely be a place we would visit again!!!

This house is in a perfect location- a quick walk to footbridge beach, and less than a mile to downtown. The house was significantly larger than I anticipated, and there was plenty of room for my family to spread out.

Lovely

Clean, well kept, with notes of nostalgia and fine decor. Two bedrooms at one end share one bath and two on other end share another. Home is finished with every convenience we enjoyed but never expected. Like a shaded patio in back that was an idyllic refuge during our June heat wave, and plenty of A/C inside. Like fascinating books and loads of games, and proximity to the tidal stream that swept us in and out of town by float.

I would highly recommend this property for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It was very clean, comfortable, well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The 4 bedrooms worked out perfectly for my family. The location was awesome, we could walk to Footbridge beach; restaurants and the Trolley stop was at the top of the street. I barely drove all week. Evan was responsive to any questions before we got there and I had the opportunity to also meet David which made me feel comfortable that someone was available nearby. Joan August 2019

Great Week

Perfect Maine Footbridge beach house. Perfect size, just the right amount of quirkiness! Very comfortable- everything we needed was there. Convenient to Footbridge beach. David- checked in with us to see how we were settling in, super friendly and helpful. A wonderful week was had by all.

Great house and location

Great house! Clean with lots of room. The fenced patio is a great addition for added privacy. The beach and restaurants are all a short walk away. The Footbridge Beach is our favorite beach! We tried Angelina's and The Lobster Pound for the first time this year and enjoyed both. Great house and location for our family!

A wonderful house for adults and children.

Both adults and children had plenty of shared space as well as privacy. The walk to and from the beach added such fun and exercise. Our Ping-Pong marathons were worth writing home about. One of our best vacations ever!! All 8 of us will be back!!

Excellent location and amenities

We are a family of five who have stayed in four different houses in the Footbridge Beach neighborhood, so we have a bit of perspective. This particular house checks a lot of the boxes. It's a short walk to the beach, with a nice patio area and yard space. There considerably more interior space than most houses in the neighborhood, and the fact that it comes with sheets and bath towels is a plus. Significantly, it has a clothes washer and dryer, which means that one can pack lightly. It also has a dishwasher. It is clean and comfortable. I recommend it highly.

A Perfect Fit!

This is the first time my family has rented a home through Home Away, so we did not know what to expect. We have rented houses in Ogunquit a couple of times in the past and finding one that was a good fit for our family has been a challenge. We finally have found a perfect fit! The house is laid out beautifully with a kitchen and two adjoining family/living rooms so you can spread out a little. The kids were glad to be able to have their personal space at the end of a busy day. Love the hardwood floors – I have allergies so anything hardwood always wins points with me. The house is immaculate and the beds are very comfortable. It’s funny the amount of times I have stayed in a beautiful hotel or house and when you went to bed it felt like you were sleeping on a rock! It was so nice to have a comfortable bed. I liked the fact there were a couple of air conditioners plus fans if you felt the need for additional air circulation. There is a lovely little garden in the back where I enjoyed my morning coffee and watched a Robin pick berries and feed its little baby under one of the bushes. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to throw in a couple of loads before we left while I played ping pong with my daughter. She loved the ping pong table! The street is very quiet and the walk to Footbridge Beach is not even 5 minutes. My daughter liked to make sure she was there at the optimum time to catch crabs under the bridge! Beach Plum Farm is close by and many restaurants are within walking distance. This house is perfect for families who enjoy the beach. The owner is very pleasant to deal with. We have already made plans to return!

Once known as an art colony, Ogunquit has something for everyone including: the river and ocean beaches, hiking, shopping, restaurants and evening entertainment. Check out the Marginal Way, Jonathan’s, the Ogunquit Playhouse, Perkins Cove and the outlet malls of Kittery.

Locals will tell you that Ogunquit means “Beautiful Place by the Sea” and has a lively summer vacation atmosphere.
