Reconnecting with friends

The apartment was exceptionally clean and as described in the VRBO listing, The location was excellent with easy access to major roads, while being tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The host was very prompt in replying to my questions. Looking forward to staying here again!

Cozy Studio in Lovely Neighborhood

We spent 4 nights in Austin to see the eclipse. Stephanie went above and beyond to make our stay the best. She offered us tickets to a viewing event and also recommended an art installation which we were very sorry we couldn't get to. I have back problems and I spotted a chair that would make me more comfortable. As soon as I asked about, it was outside the door of our studio. The bed was comfortable and the night was quiet. There is a marina nearby and and a grouping of restaurants where we had a good dinner. There is a coffee shop there with a terrific collection of desserts. Stephanie helped us explore various locations for the eclipse and made us feel welcome. The kitchen is very small, but for 4 days it worked for us. Thanks for a great stay for our first time in Austin. Nancy and Chris

Sweet Spot

It was just lovely. Clean, tidy, cozy. Fantastic neighborhood. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Stephanie was an excellent host. She has everything set up to make the stay effortless. But she's right there if you need her. Charming rental! We would stay here again.

Great place to explore Austin from.

2nd time staying here while visiting Austin. Beautiful neighborhood only 10 minutes from downtown. Ride share is effective and easy. And property is generously stocked with everything needed to explore and recover. Would highly recommend for any first or returning visits to Austin!

Great Stay in West Austin

This property was the perfect little getaway stay. Close to dining and retail, the stay is located in a very walkable area with beautiful homes and quiet residential streets while still close to downtown and campus areas. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and great to work with, too! This VRBO is definitely on my list of return stays!

Great location with all the essentials!

My girlfriend and I were in town visiting the race track for a weekend. We were surprised at how beautiful the neighborhood was and loved the ease of travel in and around the city. The place looks bigger in person and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, cold A/C, strong shower pressure, and the generous amount of clean towels ready to go. You can tell that the hosts truly think through all the details in terms of what is needed for a visit to such a great city. Highly recommend this stay!

Great stay in Austin

My husband an I were looking to stay near our daughter and grandkids who were also staying in Tarrytown. This is a lovely neighborhood just west of downtown Austin. We loved being away from the crowds of Austin. We arrived late and was impressed by the motion sensor lights to light the way up to the apartment. It is a spacious apartment with all that is necessary for a short stay, including great coffee. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed the sectional area. Stephanie was a great host and was easy to communicate withand very helpful.

Great location with easy access to all Austin has to offer

The apartment is quiet and is located just outside of downtown. It has easy access to 1st, 6th street, and Towne lake. Stephanie was very informative and gave us great recommendations. She everything mapped out in the unit, making it a perfect getaway for a visit to Austin.

Great spot in town

We enjoyed our stay overall and the host was communicative and helpful when needed. I am sort of a clean freak so I definitely think there was a lot of room for improvement in the cleanliness of the place.

Had a fabulous time, Tarrytown location couldn't be beat, easy walk to Mozart's for coffee, great vegan place around the corner and and easy drive (or walk) to the hike/bike trail and Magnolia Cafe. Owner was responsive to all requests and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Another Wonderful Stay!

Once again, my wife and I stay at the nice Tarrytown garage apartment during our recent stay in Austin. The apartment's layout is very functional and the its location for us cannot be beat, as its close to my parents, in a wonderful and safe neighborhood and in very close proximity to several nice restaurants and the Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail. We'll be back!

We are centrally located in a quiet neighborhood with huge beautiful trees lining the streets, a quick walk to Lake Austin, on a biking trail that leads to Zilker Park, across from a beautiful municipal golf course, and only a few miles (5-10 minutes depending on traffic) from UT, downtown, and Zilker Park. Our neighborhood is an oasis with easy and fast access to the exciting offerings of Austin!
