Make memories at this Big Chetac Lake Cottage

Relax and enjoy northwoods fishing and water fun at our cabin. Fully stocked kitchen with grill available on patio. 3 bedrooms, queen size sofa in main cabin. Paddle boards, float pad and float tubes are available to enjoy the lake.

Bed linens, starter toiletries and starter kitchen supplies are provided.

Bring your own bathroom and beach towels and all your supplies to enjoy your time!

We also have a hiking and snowshoeing trail just down the road from cabin. UTV/snowmobile trail is just across the road making for easy access to beautiful Northwoods trails. Make memories like we have at our Northwoods Cabin!

Communication was excellent and made our stay seamless. The host went above and beyond stocking the cabin with anything you could possibly need. We overpacked not realizing how much was already there for our kids to enjoy. Definitely will be coming back for another family vacation in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything you need was provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The decor is very unique!Of course most of our time was spent outside on the patio. Very nice furniture and great views. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful home. Would definitely stay again

The communication with Sherri the owner was great! She was super accommodating! Lake was a little green but still very swimmable! The paddle boards were fun. We rented a pontoon from a nearby resort and it was nice as the lake has a sandbar and a couple of fun restaurants on the lake. The cabin was clean the beds/ pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need. Firepit was great, let her know ahead of time so she can leave out some lawnchairs to put around it. Overall a great stay, comfortable and perfect size for a group of 6-8!!

Sister's weekend at the lake

Clean, comfortable and spacious home. Outdoor furniture was very comfortable and the view of the lake was beautiful. Great communication from owner. We enjoyed our stay.

The listing clearly states that a boat and several other lake amenities are included in the property amenities. We got to the cabin only to find a piece of paper in the kitchen saying we need to let the owner know in advance if we want the boat and other items. I re-checked the listing because I figured I must've missed something, but no, there wasn't a single mention of this required advanced notice anywhere on the Vrbo listing. I immediately contacted the owner to see if they could still get us the boat at some point during our three day stay, but they told us it was in a locked garage, and that was the end of it. So we ended up with a run down lake cabin with no boat after explicitly paying for a boat. The owner is lucky I don't dispute the charge with my credit card.

So sorry we didn’t connect to understand you wanted the kayaks out. We had the paddle boards out for use and I hope you were able to enjoy them. You had left dirty dishes and I’ve never had a group do that before.

Wisconsin lakeside vacation

We LOVED our stay. From our morning coffee looking out on the lake, to an evening marshmallow roast by the fire pit, we were able to rest and reconnect. We enjoyed the additional toys, lilly pad, paddle boards, and kayaks. Everything we needed was in the house, it felt as if we were staying at a friends house for the week. The host was super responsive. Highly recommend!

We are at the north end of Lake Chetac. Our cabin and neighborhood is relaxing and there are lots of options to plan your vacation - day trips to surrounding community events, day on the lake, day on the trails can be done in one vacation!
