Excellent. Great location in Eagle Rock. Close to Occidental College. Comfortable bed. Bathroom includes jacuzzi tub. Snacks available in the room were nice. Keurig coffee pods. I would definitely stay again.

L.A. visit

The property was as described. There was no place indoors to eat and no prep area for eating in. The pool and patio are lovely and my husband and I ate outside one morning but it was difficult to maneuver taking cups and plates, etc. outside to eat with steps and opening the back gate. Parking is difficult and if you have any back issues, carrying luggage up the steps and then down steps is challenging but we had heavy bags as we had been traveling down the coast.

Great Location, Thoughtfully Stocked

Perfect location near the freeway, separate entrance, great communication with host, and the unit is so thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. Will visit again.

Perfection

Cozy, cute, clean and safe. From the garden fountain at top of stairs to the gorgeous well maintained pool in back, just perfect. So many well thought out extras like snacks, epsom bath salts and cold filtered water which was just what I needed after hectic travel. Snacks and the jetted tub made me forget all about the airport drama. Host was welcoming and communicated well but let me be which was just what I needed. Was able to rest and recharge after some busy days. Already planning on visiting again. Would not change anything:)

I had a nice stay

I had five days in Los Angeles and picked this spot primarily for proximity to a work function and was glad I did. I wish I'd had the time to enjoy the pool area. A really lovely spot.

No privacy

Listing is false! The title reads serene home. 100% not true. You could hear EVERYTHING going on in the house, which means they could hear EVERYTHING going on in your room. The property owner is hard to get a hold of, so if you have an issue or concern, plan on no resolution for at least 12 hours. The pool is not private as there was someone in the pool area when we arrived. The parking is horrible, plan on walking far to get to the property. The bedding was dirty and strained and the chairs are filthy. There is a door leading to the main house from your room which is very uncomfortable as we felt unsafe. There is NO peace and quiet and DEFINITELY NO PRIVACY! If I could give it less than 1 star, I'd give it a ZERO.

Beautiful Location in Eagle Rock

Great little room in a safe and beautiful location. Terrific pool for hot days and the host was kind enough to allow an early check-in. We would definitely stay here again in the future- Eagle Rock and the surrounding area has a lot of great places for food, coffee and drinks within walking distance or a few minutes drive and this place has easy freeway access without feeling claustrophobic whatsoever. Be sure to carefully read the listing- they've installed a fridge, microwave and kettle in the space along with providing bottled water and some snacks, but there's no range or kitchen sink if you're looking to cook full meals there.

Sweet spot!

This lovely little pad was perfect for a quick weekend getaway in Eagle Rock. Very well equipped with all the amenities - coffee, water, snacks, bath products, robe, and then some! The snacks really helped as I didn’t have a car, so they saved me some trips! The host was very easy to communicate with and I’d def recommend staying here.

Perfect stay

Judy’s place worked out great for me as my son and family live in the neighborhood. The place was clean, quiet and had everything I needed. Many thoughtful amenities were provided. The bed was very comfortable. Hot tub is listed as an amenity but was not available during my stay. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing host, amazing location!

We live locally in LA but in the Hollywood area, and got married in Eagle Rock. This was a perfect little getaway for our weekend a little further east (we’re also hoping to move nearby potentially!) and we couldn’t get enough of the neighborhood! Super cute room and probably the best bathroom of all time. The soundproofing was sometimes a little noisy and we were self conscious about playing movies or music loudly or talking late and early, but for real; the space itself was great and communication was easy and so friendly!

This property is very centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and the Greater Los Angeles area. You can get to Hollywood in 20 minutes, and the San Fernando Valley in less than 30. Burbank airport is only 20 minutes away and LAX is 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. I'm near the MTA Gold Line, Southwest Museum station where you can buy a day pass for only $7.00 and go just about anywhere in this city in a day. I'm half a block from the Glendale freeway which you don't hear at all. Additionally it's very quiet here as I'm up in the hills. It feels like the country when you're here, but in minutes you can get to most any of Los Angeles' hot spots.

A front deck looking out into the hills with another outdoor seating area. The master suite has a separate entrance off of the garage where you can park your car. The en suite bathroom has a large jetted tub, large separate shower, towel warmer, built in hair dryer, coffee/tea bar and two bath robes. The property features 3 picturesque outdoor seating areas: one on the front deck, looking out into the hills, one poolside and another in the large covered patio looking out to the pool.
