450 sq. Foot Studio ( converted garage)in hills of Glassell Park . Sleeps up to 4 people comfortably (NO CHILDREN PLEASE). It has its own private entrance, bathroom and patio area. The studio has a queen bed and queen sofa sleeper, portable A/C and heater, fridge, microwave and Closet space. Pool/deck access 12pm-6pm (Pool heated April 1-Nov.1)
The house sits on a very quiet street atop the Glassell Park hills with beautiful views.
NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND INSIDE THE ROOM.
NO OUTSIDE GUEST OR VISITORS

Ricky was very responsive and welcoming. The place was easy to find and it was quick and easy to get in. They had already started warming it up for us! We loved the overall vibe of the place and really enjoyed spinning some of our favorite records from their collection on the turntable. Also, great location close to nice restaurants and places we needed to go. Near freeways but peaceful with an amazing view.

Such a great place in the hills! An amazing record collection and turntable, and the space was decorated in a cool, retro LA style.Host was friendly and easy to reach. Would definitely recommend!

Space was unique and very neat in regards to how the owners flipped the space from a garage to studio room. Overall the space was a bit dusty with cobwebs and occasionally bugs flying around. Tv was a tad out of date and microwave would turn on but not heat anything. The owner lives right about the garage so unfortunately you could hear everything from the tenants above. Room had all necessary essentials for a few nights stay.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay in the hilltop guest suite! It was easy to access, the decor was very cool, and the hosts were highly communicative and easy to work with. Great location as home base to visit the observatory, attend a concert, or explore.

I had an amazing stay. The location is perfect, not directly in the city but close enough to explore everything. The host was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and attentive, even heating up the pool for us when we arrived. If I had a problem he fixed it immediately.I came for a music-focused trip for 8 days, and the space was very inspiring and peaceful. It’s a great environment for creatives decoration wise, and their dogs were a nice bonus. We got to meet them and they were adorable.There were some bugs (mosquitoes, moths, and spiders), including a few near the headboard and one that came down from the ceiling. They won’t bother you unless provoked, but it’s worth noting for anyone with a strong fear. That said, it is a guest suite, so it’s understandable and part of the environment.I also could have paid closer attention to the listing—it’s a converted garage on the lower level, and the pool is upstairs with set hours (12–6), which limited my use due to my schedule.Overall, I’m very grateful for the experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, creative stay.
