Very Nice Place to Stay

The unit is decorated nicely and felt cozy. Heat worked very well and the couch was comfortable. Good WiFi and parking in the parking lot was a breeze. There were two hiccups during our stay. The first was the hot water seemed to run out each time we showered...it would come back on but it took a good few minutes standing next to ice cold water. We never mentioned this to management as it wasn’t a big deal just more of a slight annoyance. The second issue was that our fireplace did not work. The pilot light went out the minute we flipped the switch to turn it on. I called the office and spoke to the gentleman who said it would be a little bit before someone could come out as the guy was in Pigeon Forge. This was Friday morning-we left on Monday and our fireplace was never re-lit. I asked again on Saturday and was told it would be a little bit but no one ever came. It snowed Sunday and Monday and we really would’ve liked to have a fire going to add to the ambiance.

Screen door to patio busted and off track. Door laying on patio. Showers were not cleaned and full of hair! Would not stay here again!

It is very outdated and kitchen is not stocked well.the worst part is the beds are old and hard as rocks. I felt like the couch would be more comfortable. We will always go back to Park Place. We just won't rent #110.

Condo was a little outdated, really needs new carpet but so comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Much less than expected unit 110!!!

We have stayed in unit 108 many times in the past but were told it was not available for the dates requested. John suggested unit 110 and said it had new hardwood floors and great patio furniture. Turns out it had old carpet and horrible mattresses on the beds. You cannot enjoy your stay if you do not get a good night's sleep!!!! Turns out unit 108 had a cancellation due to a medical emergency, but we were not told of the change. The only wat we would stay again is if 108 is available, since we cannot be sure what other units would be like.

We had plenty of space for our family of 4, beds were comfortable, and everything we needed was available (kitchen items, towels, etc.). The unit is older and could use some updates. The fluorescent light in the kitchen almost never fully turned on and made it difficult to cook. The hot water in the master bath sink was inconsistent as well. However, we always had hot showers, and the AC, wi-fi and cable were great.Driving in Gatlinburg can be a huge pain and it was so nice to be able to leave the car parked at the condo and walk into town for dinners and activities. Likewise, this was a great base for us as we explored Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The condo is very convenient to the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Sugarlands Visitor Center (an easy 2 mile hike if you want to go carless), and the popular Laurel Falls Trail.

The location is tremendous in that you are on the edge of Gatlinburg in easy walking distance to the entrance trail into to GSMNP. A nice flat river trail. At the same time, you are also in walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. We like this convenience of being close to town but not too close.

Our stay at Park Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is wonderful and the rooms were nice but could use some updating and a good cleaning. To start with our jacuzzi tub didn’t work, our screen doors were off and the quest rooms socket fell out of their lamp. Also, the baseboards were very dirty, there was mold in the master shower and it took 25 minutes for the water in the bathroom sink to warm up. We were in room 110. We were there last year and I don’t remember what room but it was wonderful.
