Se un ritiro è un luogo di rifugio, isolamento e la privacy, questa casa è chiamata alla perfezione. Benvenuto a Bear's Retreat. Questa bella casa di montagna offrirà sicuramente pace, tranquillità e privacy per la vostra meritata vacanza. Entrate e aggiungere un po '"oohlala" al viaggio. Le famiglie potranno godere i bellissimi mobili e ogni sorta di extra troppo. Spara una partita a biliardo, guardare la partita o leggere dalla casa offre tutto questo. Al di fuori del tema è la natura e ci sono tanti modi per godere. È possibile reclinare sul ponte, rilassarsi nella vasca idromassaggio, eseguire nel cortile o godere il paesaggio dalla splendida veranda. Gli ospiti invernali godranno di una facile guida alle piste. Anche i cani ben educati sono ospiti benvenuti a Bear's Retreat!

Great Mountain Rental

Nice spacious home for a big group with dogs featuring great views. It’s only me as many improvement. I’ve been made to this home some recommended improvements include.

I had my 91 year old mother who was able to move about the house easily and the downstairs bathroom was great for her. We also had a puppy with us that we crated. The pup loved the backyard!The local neighbor next door is a wonderful lady that you should meet Best of Canaan was excellent to work with and met our needs.

Conditions were great and the house was accommodating,clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for 7 people. We appreciated the snow being pushed from the driveway and the walkways being shoveled ( for future reference, clear a better path to hot tub and gas grill). Staff ( thanks Kat) was friendly and answered all questions. We will be back!

The hot tub has plenty of room for multiple people and the outdoor area is very pretty as we got to watch deer and birds while relaxing in the hot tub. The game room is great too-perfect for hanging out and shooting pool or just watching a football game.

Such a great place

Absolutely loved the house. Big but cozy. Outdoor area was lovely. Hot tub under the stars. Sunroom was perfect for a rainy day. Kitchen well stocked. There’s a keurig. I didn’t notice it in the pictures. Wonderful time. Quiet area but close to things to do

Summer in Canaan

The location of this property is incredible! The kids (and adults) loved the fire pit, hot tub, and pool table! It was very dusty, especially the ceiling fans, central air/heat ducts, and under the beds, but the hot tub was very clean. There were issues with the appliances, but nothing that detracted from our stay. The property manager was quick to respond.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented houses in this area for over 20 years including this one twice before. We’ve always liked the location, space, and the ability to bring a pet. With that being said, our overall experience last weekend was poor. The house is in need of a serious deep cleaning, multiple maintenance issues, including a hot tub that was cold the entire time. Although the realty company was polite, the $65 refund hardly covers the disappointment. Very sad because it’s a beautiful house overall in a special place for my family, but we will not trust to rent again.

It has a smell to it and alot of dog hair in the carpet but it is pet friendly. Not sure red carpet would be my first choice with pets. You can't adjust the temperature of the house because the thermostat changes to certain settings. 3 tvs but only one works. Coming back next month but this time will be staying with another rental company.

Our Stay

The only complaints we had was the refrigerator didn’t make much ice. We bought a bag to use. And the beds were extremely hard. Otherwise nice place to stay.

A little slice of heaven

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home backs up to the reserve so it is very private and the view of the stars from the hot tub is out of this world. The Pool table is a lil rough but still worked well enough. Only real complaint is it could stand a good cleaning..I had to do the windows myself so we could enjoy the view. But I would definitely stay again!! This is our 8th vacation in the area but the 1st with this company, gotta say the staff couldn't have been any nicer, they will be our go to from now on as we definitely never received that kinda service from the previous rental company. Highly recommend!!
