Charming Edgartown Retreat - Walk to Village and Beaches
Nestled on a winding street, our three-bedroom top-floor unit offers a tranquil escape just a 15-minute stroll from the vibrant Edgartown Village. This newly renovated space features two queen beds and one king bed.
Ideal Location:
- 3-minute drive to State Beach and 10 minutes to Katama Beach.
- Walking distance to library, playground, tennis courts, and Stop & Shop.
- Easy access to bike paths and public transport.
Home Comforts:
- Fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and a porch for relaxation.
- Summer essentials include a new grill and fire pit in a spacious yard—perfect for BBQs and outdoor dining.
- Air conditioning in each bedroom (note: no AC in kitchen/living room) and ample parking for up to 4 vehicles.
Local Attractions:
- Close to the July 4th parade route and Edgartown’s festive atmosphere with excellent restaurants and shopping.
- Prime location for the fishing derby, near weigh-in stations and tackle shops.
Travel Tips:
- While a car is beneficial for exploring the island, our home’s proximity to town means you can enjoy much without one. Check bus routes or use local taxis and Ubers.
- Ferry travel? Book early via the Steamship Authority, or use the Pied Piper for direct, walk on access to downtown Edgartown.
- Flying in? Direct flights to Martha's Vineyard Airport are available, with Boston Logan as the nearest major airport.
Considerate Hosting:
- Property managers live on-site (downstairs) and are readily available.
- As we are situated in a quiet, residential area, we appreciate guests respecting the neighborhood peace by keeping noise down post-11 PM.
- This home comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults. There is a pull out couch if needed for more people, but please let us know if you plan to bring more than 6 people. There is only one bathroom, so in our opinion less than 6 people is ideal.
- All bedding, towels, beach towels, etc., are included! (Many weekly rentals do not include linens)

- July and August bookings are available weekly, starting on Saturdays or Sundays. We can be flexible on the check-in/out days if you're interested in booking a longer stay.

I'm originally from Vermont and my husband Uri is originally from Serbia. We met in Edgartown while working in a restaurant and are working on our dream of having a house here. We loving hosting because we love Egartown and Martha's Vineyard! To us it's the best place to be in the summer (and year round!).
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We love that this neighborhood feels peaceful even in the middle of August when things get VERY busy on the island. Yet it's still walking distance to town and to Stop n Shop which in the summer is very hard to access because of traffic. We also love how close to State Beach the house is. To us State Beach is the perfect beach because it's usually calm and easily accessible.
