What a fantastic holiday!!!

I had really nice time at Mamma Rosa B&B, the room was simply perfect and Melania was really kind and helped me to arrange a day trip to Pompei. I hope to come back soon and have the opportunity to saty longer. Ciaooo

Stairway to Heaven

Positano is a beautiful place, and Mamma Rosa Positano was the perfect place to view it from. The views are breathtaking and ever changing. High atop Positano and the sea at Montepertuso there're several really amazing restaurants to choose from all walking distance from Mamma Rosa's. Angel and Melania have a spacious, immaculate villa with a spectacular view from each bedroom porch as well as the dining area where they will serve you your tasty breakfast each day, and direct you anywhere you choose to go. They were the perfect hosts. Yes there are steps -but such a feeling of accomplishment when you get to the top! Take time to enjoy this lovely villa.

If you are traveling along Amalfi coast via car (free parking) and planing to visit Positano and have a beautiful hike Path of the Gods, then you can't find a better place to stay! Breath taking views and wonderful location. Fully renovated facility, with great quality in mind! Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Super, super clean! Angelo and Melania, are the best hosts ever. We feel really like home. Angelo has a big international experience in hospitality business, so every aspect of his business is treated with high professionalism. We like guys so much, that felt very sad leaving them, wish we can meet often. If you need any help with your hike, don't worry there is no need for a private guide, the hike is easy and Angelo will answer all of your questions. The Best restaurant Trattoria La Tagliata (price, quality and service are a very pleasant surprise) on entire Amalfi coast is just 2 min walk away :) Highly recommended place to stay!

A stay you will never forget!

We arrived late and because of this we couldn't find the property in the dark. That was no problem as the owner and her brother came and found us and escorted us to the location. We were then shown where to eat supper just steps from this B&B. The food and atmosphere were wonderful! While we were gone for supper our bags were brought up to our room and after supper we made the climb all 218 stairs. Believe me when I say it was worth every step!!! The rooms were impeccable!! Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great as well. The rooms were fantastic with lovely balconies overlooking the sea! I wish we had more time to spend there and if you are doing the Amalfi coast this is a great spot to stay!! As we checked out the owner carried two of our heaviest bags down by herself then came halfway back up and took our remaining bag from my husband. We had both rooms rented with family so it was very private as well. Would make a great weakly rental ( if you are fit) I would suggest packing light and don't forget anything in your car as I had to do two trips up the stairs because of a forgotten cell phone in the car.
