The host Nadia was a gem! She helped us out several times. The apt is very clean and we appreciate they left us some welcome treats! The views are absolutely stunning. As others mentioned, be prepared to take a lot of steps.

Amazing stay in Capri

This was the most amazing place to stay!! Views were so incredible and location was close to the main square. Nadia our host was very informative and answered all my questions very quickly(she was awesome) Their are many stairs to climb...but so worth it. This stay in Capri will always have a special place in my heart!!

What a fabulous place

What a fabulous place!! We were 2 couples and the location was magical (once you got up all the stairs😃) but so worth it!! Excellent location, well appointed rental! If you are looking for the most magical trip book this place! Nadia [the caretaker] our contact was excellent!!!! Answered all my questions and was always available when needed! Capri will always hold a spot in my heart!

Loved Villa Due Marine

Loved Villa Due Marine! Nadia [the caretaker] was also amazing in meeting us and checking us out with some great local recommendations! The stairs are something... :). We found on VRBO and then booked on Summer in Italy. I was unaware of this company prior to the trip but will use in the future!

Beautiful view. Nice apartment. If you don’t mind going 150 plus steps each time you need to go to the house. It was worth it and I am 58 and need to lose about 50 pounds and if I can do it, anyone can! :)

Villa Due Marine a Capri Must!

Yes Capri is beautiful and an absolute gem to visit, but what made our visit extra fabulous was calling Villa Due Marine home for 2 weeks. Perched near the top of a cliff that overlooks Marina Grande, Capri Town, Monte Solaro and almost Marina Piccola the location and views were magnificent! Being able to walk just about everywhere of interest made this Villa location very useful. Groceries,dining of every type,beautiful walks and of course incredible shopping are right down the steps of this Villa. We anticipated eating out, but honestly, once you discover all the little shops that have amazing fresh produce,meats,baked goods and everything else a chef could imagine,we took advantage of the Villa's wonderful kitchen and incredible deck for 90% of our meals.It was fantastic! The kitchen has everything necessary to cook anything you would at home. The Villa itself is very well maintained and furnished with amazing and unique treasures and artifacts that give the feel of a 5 star penthouse. The Summer in Italy crew were beyond Great and went above and beyond to make our stay and experience extra special and flawless. Special thanks to Nadia! We are avid travelers and were super impressed with the Villa, the location and the management and would recommend Villa Due Marine 100% The only thing that could complicate a stay is the fact that because this Villa is literally perched on a cliff there are many steps to navigate before you get blown away by this incredible place.

Yes Capri is beautiful and an absolute gem to visit, but what made our visit extra fabulous was calling Villa Due Marine home for 2 weeks. We enjoyed the villa very much

We enjoyed the villa very much. The views are stunning and the outdoor terrace allows guests to enjoy a glass of wine and/or meals as it is furnished with a comfortable sectional and a beautiful dining table. The villa itself is very nicely appointed. The owners provided every possible amenity to make their guests comfortable. We appreciated the filtered water among the many additional amenities. Nadia [the caretaker] was so kind and helpful. She met us as we arrived and helped us to the apartment. She responded to our texts in a timely fashion. She is a gem! The Summer In Italy staff went above and beyond! We appreciated the information not only about reaching the villa, but also a bit of information about what to expect. Quite funny that people can expect things to be exactly like they are in their country... so that was interesting. We love Italy as it is! Thanks to Luca who emailed me and checked in. Very organized operation. I will recommend Summer in Italy... actually already did to a visitor from LA! We look forward to returning.

Truly one of the most AMAZING properties & locations we've experience!

The apartment is well appointed, well maintained, with the most spectacular views from the terrace! We loved every minute of our stay here. It's perfectly situated near the piazzetta - close enough to be convenient, but on a side pedestrian street so it's very quiet and removed from business of Capri. Even though we were there in October, the A/C was definitely a plus during the warmest part of the day. All the appliances are modern and quite state of the art (faucet that provides cold distilled and sparkling water, ice machine that makes ice quickly, retractable terrace awning, convection stove top). The apartment is furnished in a very intriguing manner - - very interesting paintings, sculptures, figurines, furniture. Things were collected from around the world and in all honesty, I wish I knew more about when and why and how they were acquired! A little bit like a museum (in a good way!). The bathrooms are on the small side (as typical of Italy), but very clean and practical. I appreciated the shower dispensers with body wash, shampoo, & conditioner. The apartment was well thought-out for guests. It had welcome / starter food & beverage items, so we didn't have to find a grocery store immediately upon arrival. Just another one of the touches that made this apartment a truly wonderful place to stay for a week. The property manager (Nadia) was excellent. She helped us plan our arrival including where to find the baggage porters, then met us at the Funiculare exit, and introduced us to the property. During our stay, she provided lots of good tips and she made a private boat reservation for us, as well as several dinner reservations and the departure baggage transfer. But what makes this apartment a superstar is the terrace with THE MOST AMAZING VIEWS down to the sea on BOTH sides of the island! I left the curtains open in our bedroom and the living room so I saw that view first thing when I woke up. We sat outside with our coffee watching the sun rise slowly move across the island, we sat outside with our apertivos and watched the sky change colors as the sun set behind Monte Solaro, and we sat outside in the evening after dinner when the island was quite and sparkled with lights. I would go back in a heartbeat and you will LOVE this apartment! *** One thing I want to mention though - - it is indeed 160 steps up to the apartment! This would not be a good rental if you have any mobility issues.

The best views on the island

The best views on the island. We have family on Capri and have stayed all over island. Beautiful large bedrooms, well appointed with all of the basics. Really great powerful AC in every room (this isn’t always a given on Capri). Couldn’t recommend this place more. Our point person Nadia was also outstanding.

Villa Due Marine was exceptional in every way

Villa Due Marine was exceptional in every way. The view from the villa is breathtaking. The accommodations were clean and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for easy access to activities on Capri so that it was not necessary to have a car while we were there. We received excellent service in helping us make the travel arrangements to Capri as well as helping us to make reservations for things to do while we were at the villa. We look forward to coming back next year for a more extended stay in June. Summer In Italy was extremely responsive in a timely way to all emails that I sent prior to our arrival. I really appreciated the ease of communication and their level of service.

Amazing place and the best host

This was incredible! The pics were exactly as is but in person it's nicer. Checkin checkout was simple and as nice as the place is, as beautiful as capri and its people are, the star was Nadia! Never have I rented vrbo or bnb where I felt like my stay was the most important thing. If this place wasn't good (which it's fabulous) Nadia is a wonderful girl who was pleased to help and trust me I asked for lots. Having her and staying at this place was like going to a 5 star resort with a butler. Not saying that I used her as a butler but anything I asked she would handle. To the property owners: you have amazing place, and the neighbors below are wonderful people who we enjoyed talking with daily. Thank you for sharing this place with me. To Nadia, what Else can I say. You are a star and love what you do and it shows. A young lady who gets it beyond her years. If I ever bought a place there, I would only want you to handle it. I Hope the owners realize that you are a gem.

Wir können die Wohnung und auch die Betreuung nur in den höchsten Tönen loben. Die Ausstattung ist super, alles funktioniert perfekt und ist modern. Terrasse & Aussicht klasse! Lage perfekt. Wichtig für uns: die Schlafzimmer sind sehr ruhig und gut zu verdunkeln. Wir wurden wunderbar betreut, auch mit extra-Anliegen. Es gibt viel zu unternehmen, eine Woche kann man gut auf Capri verbringen.

Amazing Views, Perfect Apartment

This property has an amazing deck with views of both marinas and the sunset over Ischia. The deck has a table and chairs, and plenty of outdoor sofas. While we were only 2 adults, this apartment is perfect for up to 4 adults. Both bedrooms have plenty of closets/dressers, two full sized bathrooms, hair dryers, strong AC throughout the apartment, a washer, a sunshade for the outdoor space, and a smart TV in the living room. The owners also stocked the kitchen with everything you'll need plus some basics like coffee, milk, soda and prosecco. Nadia, the property manager, coordinated our arrival and was a fantastic and helpful resource throughout our stay. We loved our stay here and had no issues, but you should know that it is 160+ steps straight up to the apartment and if you are not athletic or in good shape, it will take a lot of getting used to (the view is worth it) or you will decide you can only do it once a day and plan accordingly. Also, if you have luggage that you can't carry up 160 steps (anything more than a backpack or shoulder bag), arrange to have the baggage taken to the apartment from the port/marina for 25-30 Euro per bag.

This home has a stunning view

This home has a stunning view. This was one of the highlights of the trip. The home was also well-appointed, with high quality features like the remote-controlled awning. A special feature of the home is that the people at Summer In Italy who rented us the home communicated extremely well and gave us extremely helpful information prior to our stay. Although there was a hitch in the check-in process, the representative who took care of us was also extremely helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this home.

An excellent property all round

An excellent property all round. Very well maintained, some excellent features (loved the TV with 'frame' technology, the electric canopy for the terrace and the ice maker). This is a little gem of place, yes there are a lot of steps, but it's all worth it for that view! You can see both sides of Capri and the main Piazzetta with bell tower below. The location is good too for accessing the main areas, shops, bars and restaurants (once you're down the steps of course). Highly recommended, very well equipped and comfortable villa. Some nice little touches from the host/hostess too on arrival which were greatly appreciated. An excellent property. Thank you for sharing it with us! Summer In Italy were excellent with the arrangements. Everything was in order and everything was communicated well.
