It’s the center of the universe!

Lots of nearby nightlife along 5th, and no shortage of restaurants. It’s only about a mile to the ferry and there is a Walmart about a mile away as well. It’s a boisterous area but with the windows closed and the AC on, it’s not hard to fall asleep. The pool on the roof is awesome and a great way to end the day.

Great stay at Doca Condos

Great location. Close to restaurants, 5th Ave, the beach. No car needed but parking available if need be. Was noisy outside at night as you are right where all the action is but that doesn’t bother us. 2 rooftop pools were very nice. Major super market was 1/2 block away which was very convenient. Even a nice cheap restaurant right across the street from us. Everything was as described. Would stay here again.

At night the bass from the clubs can reach into the front bedroom. the back room is quiet! The furnishings are great, 2 TVs, 3 air conditioners, dryer and washing machine. the beds are very good. Only the green couch needs to be replaced... the balcony has a couch and a table with 4 chairs. We didn't use the bathtub on the balcony - the sea isn't far! 2 bathrooms - excellent! The on-site support was very good, thank you again,we'd love to come back!

A few issues like no water pressure and a bad stove, but the management company resolved those issues. Living room furniture is not comfortable and should be improved. All in all a pleasurable stay and great location (being one block from 5th Ave and 3 blocks to the beach). Spend days at the beach but pools on the roof are very nice. Having stayed in many places in Playa Del Carmen, this property is very well priced for what it has to offer.

Verify Construction noise is not an issue before you reserve

Reviewer Comments: It would have been nice if Property Management Company had advised me that unit was going to be subject to noise from construction going on next building.Cons:There is construction going on next door and workers start pounding on walls at 8AM and noise continues until 6PM. They definitely woke me up. I was offered to change to a different unit however I declined offer since I was going to be there for only 2 more days and changing would require me to pack and unpack which I didn't want to.Pros:Very clean, luxury type apartment, A/C unit very cold was a bonus. Professional Staff.Bottom Line:I will definitely stay there again if construction has been completed.Recommendations:Advise clients that there will be noise and stay may be unpleasant.Have more silverware and plates available.Stayed from May 31 2016 until June 4 2016.

WE HAD GREAT FAMILY VACATION

During New Years Eve it was safe to walk back to the apt. Also the pool was clean and beautiful to rest in. The management answered all my questions on time, very professional.

( however noisy, also construction right next door) great bath and beach towels, but only 2 hand towels for entire condo. Also if you intend to cook... very few utensils, only 3 highball glasses and 3 champagne glasses.... i don't get that.... probably were never replaced when someone broke some. but all in all a very nice place, great roof pool

Best luxury condo in Playa del Carmen!! Simply perfection!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am in love with the place, From the moment we walked in to the apartment it felt like home! We have been coming to playa for over 10 years and we were used to generic looking condos by now. Well let me tell you This apartment it set aside from the rest, there is so much attention to detail, everything is so minimalist, clean, high end, It's like owning your own luxury place in paradise. Its location is perfect on 32nd at off of 5th ave in a small boutique building which houses only 9 apartments so you never see anyone in hallways or pool! The building feeling is very very private and exclusive, with underground garage direct access through elevator. The pool area which is on the roof deck was impeccably maintained, with outstanding view of the ocean and surroundings. When you sunbathe or even if you decide to have lunch upstairs there is a great retreat feeling given the beautiful landscaping and cozy atmosphere. The walk to the beach "playa mamitas" (which is the most famous beach in playa) lliterally was 5 min as you are 2 blocks away and just 1/2 a block from 5th Ave. In our opinion this is the best block on 5th, given the quality of the restaurants and stores between 28 and 34 street. You have every need nearby pharmacy, convenience store, French Boulangerie, sushi, best dessert place "ahh cacao", Starbucks,or little tea cup, the best Italian rest "cenacolo", Argentinian BBQ, pizza., ceviche,Cuban "la bodeguita del media"..and so many other. I can't say enough good things about this place!! The absolute best ever!!!!!!
