The host is very responsive and helpful. Home is clean and cozy. Beautiful windows fill the home with sunshine - perfect for our winter stay.

Pro: Lovely spot on a lake with swans, otters and fishing. Much of the house has been recently renovated. When our guest list changed, landlord responded quickly in letting guards know.Con: Freezer broke after one day followed by the refrigerator not working at all for last 24 hours. We provided photos and followed steps suggested by landlord and we identified faulty breaker. We lost lots of food, had to scramble for meals and manage cancer medicines requiring refrigeration. Landlord did not resolve the problem or provide reasonable compensation.House is actively still being renovated - unfinished rooms and downstairs patio furniture covered in wood scraps and not usable. New balusters had been improperly installed and fell out (an engineer in our party re-installed them correctly). I would not recommend families with children rent this home until renovations are complete. Listing says "no pets allowed" but house smelled of dog and irritated allergies of one guest. Pricing is very misleading - it is a 5 bedroom house that sleeps 10 but price is only for first 4 guests.

This guests review is incorrect. My home at lake of the woods is fully remodeled with no ongoing work and there are no issues with balusters or any other safety concerns. Yes, the refrigerator did break on the last day of this guests stay, however they were compensated for their losses as appropriate. I also tried to get a repair technician to come out to fix the refrigerator as soon as possible however the outage was reported to me on a Saturday afternoon and the LG service technicians do not work weekends.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The host was very responsive. The property location was fantastic, and the views were amazing. We enjoyed the quiet lake setting, and the house had everything we needed. We met one of the neighbors as well and she was super friendly, and helpful. All in all, it was a great stay!

What a wonderful holiday weekend for our family! The home and property were enjoyed by everyone from my 8 year old daughter to my mother-in-law and everyone in between! The home was exceptionally clean, large and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. The paddle boards, ping pong table and multiple sitting/dining areas were a bonus! The beds were comfortable, which was so nice after long days in the hot sun. We had a great time floating off of the dock and the neighbors were absolutely lovely, as well! We can’t wait to book our next trip!
