Great little condo in a great location! Perfect for a relaxing day on the beach and a short drive to amazing restaurants. The host was accomodationing with early check-in which gave us extra time together as a family.

Property is in dire need of repairs; sink faucet leaks constantly, bathroom flooring unlevel, Sheetrock peeling. TV is really small. Mattresses need replacing. Just to name a few.

This condo was perfect for our family of 3 - the location can't be beat, the access to the beach is pretty much at the bottom of the stairs from the condo, and the beach itself was nice and wide! The condo had everything we needed for our long weekend trip. As others have noted, there are some dated fixtures, but everything worked great! Having previously visited many NC beaches over the years and stayed at many beach houses/condos, some dated items were not a concern for us, especially at the great price point. Also as others have mentioned, the upstairs neighbors during our stay had heavy feet and but we were understanding, traveling with a toddler ourselves. This is a very family-friendly area and we would love to stay again!

Information from the host was great and quick. The place was a great weekend getaway for me and my family. My wife loved the view and sounds of the ocean from the balcony, and we all loved how close we were to the beach. These villas are really a perfect location if you are going to Oak Island...on the beach...close to the lighthouse...easy walk to the pier. Very friendly beach too with people walking by.

We enjoyed our stay. The dryer quit working the night before we left. There was no broom and lots of sand from the beach. I would request a broom to sweep up all the sand and the dryer be fixed. Overall we would come back. Great access to beach. The beach view was very limited. The balcony was great. The master bed was full size. It slept good just small.

A Perfect Beach Vacation Condo

We had a great vacation here. The place was clean, everything in the condo worked, access to the beach was easy, the location was perfect, and communication with Lisa was excellent. We spent a week here and enjoyed ourselves very much!

The condo is nice. It needs a little tender loving care but was clean. Condo above us had kids that sounded like wild horses running but they went to bed early. Only suggestion I really have is it needs a broom and dust pan so we can sweep up sand or whatever. All in all, yes we would stay here again.

Nice community, great location!

Property was great, pool was nice as well. Very convenient to stores and entertainment. Communication with the host was fast and plesant. Stayed here for 3 nights , wish it was longer! Would stay here again!

The place was great as well as the price. It’s all the added fees that makes it more expensive. As far as cleanliness the furniture rooms and kitchen, decks are great. It’s the cleaning crew that comes in after someone leaves is bad. Sand all on the floors, baseboard dirty, it’s like they get paid by the unit and half a@@ the job The host was great and her mom would be proud would definitely return and recommend. Short walk to beach and 10 minute beach walk to pier restaurant that was excellent

Great property grounds and easy beach access. The condo itself is outdated, but it’s clean and has everything you need. And the beach is right there. Communication with the owner was great and we had no issues during our stay.

Good: ocean view from balcony, kitchen items, living room and balcony furnitures, second bedroom 2 beds. Extra rolling bed and pullout sofa. The wall color is very relaxing and not overwhelmed with decorations. Great parking spot.Bad: need new mattress in master bedroom (very uncomfortable and it seem very old), hallway bathroom ( toilet need update, shower head need update. We had to unclog the shower drain , exhaust fan need update and super noisy, light fixtures need moden look). The extra rolling bed need a new wheels and probably new mattress.

Our Beach Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. Everything is just as pictured and everything was clean and ready for our stay. The location was perfect and close to grocery stores and restaurants. The owner was wonderful to work with and answered my questions quickly. I will definitely stay here again!

I had high expectations even after some reviews said it was dated. However, I did not expect roaches. Host apologized and said she never had this issue before, however we found 2 cans of roach spray in the cabinet. We left after 4 1/2 days. because huge roaches appeared on the kitchen counter and freaked us out, we just packed up everything in 10 minutes and left. I explained this to the host and no compensation was offered for this huge inconvenience since we had the added expense of getting a hotel room until our flight out of NC. I have been going to NC for years for vacation and never experienced this before. We were devastated.

Cute spot

The location is amazing! we loved the pool and the beach, the condo left a little something to be desired. There were a few roaches on the floor when we came in and the electrical work was scary, with the stove making loud popping noises and breaking once but all in all served its purpose

Everything was wonderful, except for the upstairs occupant above us, walked around a lot late at night the ceiling creaked.Also one way arrived there weren’t enough parking passes for our party so we were stressing about getting towed.

Quiet and relaxing condo

Enjoyed our stay with just a short walk over the dunes to the beach. I was happy that there was a room on the ground floor to store beach chairs, fishing rods, etc so we didn't have to carry them upstairs. Disappointed that the TV was so tiny, like a 24" TV, and no TV in the master bedroom. My husband is a sports fan and doesn't miss watching the Yankees play baseball. Beds were comfortable and the unit had a nice deck to watch the waves and take in the ocean breeze.

NOT a luxury villa

When we arrived at the property, we were immediately concerned about the cleanliness of the place. The rugs and furniture upholstery were very dirty, as were the ceiling fans and kitchen cabinets both inside and out. In addition the interior seemed dingy and dated as a whole. We reached out to the manager, who responded quickly and scheduled cleaning to be completed after our stay. We left a day early simply because of the condition of the property. The unit is in the best location on Caswell Beach, and the AC worked well. The complex is very nice, but in general we were surprised to find these kind of issues in a property with a premiere host. She refunded 25 percent of the nightly rate, which was appreciated, but that does not change that our very limited vacation time was less than stellar.

We had a few minor mishaps our first day but the owner was quick to respond and help us. The location is wonderful. Close to food, South Port, and even closer to the beach. By far one of our favorite places to stay between Bolivia, Oak Island, Supply and South Port. Some parts of the condo haven’t been updated as far as decor but that didn’t bother us one bit. We came for the beach and the small town feel, not to stay indoors. Only downfall to us was the neighbors above us. They were loud and very heavy footed but nothing to complain too much about. Very satisfied with this rental.

I've been traveling to Caswell Beach for 26 years. Stayed in houses and condos. This was by far the cleanest property that we have ever stayed at. Nice place. Great communication. Good price but the cleanliness was over the top.
